50 Cent was one of the first people to EXPOSE Rick Ross as a phony, and here's how he did it... Thanks for watching! Please like and subscribe if you enjoyed! instagram: / louaista Twitter / louaista TikTok: www.tiktok.com...
He hurt his rep but not his business, Ross career actually improved in alotta waya, this is when i knew "tHe sTrEeTs" didn't run hip hop like that anymore
Since the 00 when the white people created rap. A white business which black people die from and go broke. Never let money hungry gangsters negotiate your culture.
@@beagle808 I would say google it, but that's obviously too difficult for you. I will instead just leave the article title by xxl magazine. "People Are Really Comparing Rick Ross and The Notorious B.I.G. After ‘Rather You Than Me’ Album Drops Read More: People Are Really Comparing Rick Ross and The Notorious B.I.G. After 'Rather You Than Me' Drops - XXL
@@beagle808 it only took a few seconds to search on google. there are articles about this subject going back years. one specifically on XXL magazine. your incorrect comment is even more amusing, because you said it so confidently lol.
I always had ross and drake as rap performers rather than mcs. There have always been the "rappers delight" types who try to make money off the game. 😂😂
Someone tried that with my mom's at limelight NYC. We're from queens. I grew up just me and mom. We were talking about the clubs in the city when I was old enough. She said she thought someone spiked her drink with E. I said "absolutely not, you would've loved it" I guarantee she was roofed or given something worse. Thank God she was with 20 of her friends and 2 of them were bouncers for limelight. From what I heard not long ago. It possibly could've been another bouncer that was obsessed with my mom. Like I said, thank God her good friends were bouncers and got her right home. I still remember getting the call to open the door. For years I thought she just had food poisoning until we were cool enough to shoot the shit. One of them are still very close with my fam. He opened his own funeral home. So we hire him evwry time
No one respects Officer Ricky, he's a laughing stock. That's why those dudes in Canada stepped up to him, they weren't stepping to a drug dealer, they saw a softy
Lmao 😂 bro I'm from Vancouver. And it may be canada but we got our own gangs and drugs flooding the streets. Alotta gunplay and crime and violence. And most definitely don't nobody respect a fuckin former CO fugazi mfkr. Lmfao that was.hilarious. In Ricky's defense. That song hustling came.out and the streets.were a river of.cocaine money back then and we were knee.deep in it. And.that song made the neighborhood thug coke dealers mutheffuckin celebrities. I'm.old school I'm.38 done . years in prison been shot 4 times and I clearly remember that shit was very hot. So I give him a lil credit he had us all fooled.. But here any former CO and people know and he go to the clubs got a million mfs gonna slap the mf.on principle. Lol. Now American hip hop fans actually heard about my city. Funny shit.
Something tells me Rick Ross knew his past career as a correctional officer would catch up to him. He knew it wouldn’t last long, so he invested his rap money in other assets. Hate on him all you want, but dude is a business minded genius 💯
Yep, genius' put lines in songs about raping women but he's a "business minded genius". Lost his Reebok deal and all times of other endorsements. Fuck outta here with that shit. "I put molly all in champagne, she ain't even know." Explain how that's genius.
the crazy part is 50 bounced back from being bankrupt in about two years and has more money than he ever made off rap from the TV show Power and all his shows plus his drink at the Kings Arena. 50 is dope met him at my job, and he is so chill and nice. took picture with all of us worker and was super respectful
He was never bankrupt... It was a bankruptcy due to lack of liquidity. He never bounced back. He was worth hundreds of millions in assets before and after his "bankruptcy". Do people actually think He went bankrupt 😂
Bankruptcy isn't what people think there is lots of types of bankruptcy. The kind 50 filed doesn't mean he don't ot money most people assume it means your stuff is just gone.
I bet this fake cosplaying gangster shit eats away at real dudes like him. Watching these wannabes get rich of stuff they’ve never done meanwhile the real dudes are shut down regularly because no one wants to hear the truth.
Another revisionist. How was Ja destroyed if he went platinum after the beef not one but twice. People seem to forget the FBI investigation they had. 50 takes credit for things he had nothing to do with
Ross has always been a caricature. Why people show him love when he did not show love to the man whose name he is wearing is ridiculous. The CO thing was funny, but disrespecting the man that went to prison behind the image you are imitating is a much more damning revelation.
@@Braylon1997 That part!!! AND Curtis was out DOING what he said he did. The OG 50 Cent robbed drug dealers like Omar from the Wire. Curtis-50 Cent did NOT claim to be a stickup kid or in anyway portray himself to be living the life OG 50 did. Officer Ricky, for DAMN sure was not anywhere near the level he claimed or even really in the life. If you hadn’t noticed the feds been putting RICOs on any rapper/bosses that are really about that life.
And then they said 50 lost the war… nah Ross disses were very corny at that. He didn’t win that beef at all, he just put out a decent album then. Had nothing to do with beef. 2024 winner - 50 cent
This is actually a false narrative that 50 hurt ricks reputation. Rick’s record sales only increased after their beef, nobody cared that he was an CO. Rick didn’t just survive this beef but thrived after it, Rick could also troll with the best of them.
Reputation isn't career. He destroyed Ross' "street image & persona" that was all just a imitation of a man from across the country from where he grew up, and the dude he named himself after and tried to pretend to be even going as far as denying the real Rick Ross existed at first, then when he couldn't deny it anymore he called the dude he named himself after a snitch cuz the real Rick Ross just wanted his credit or some money since this imposter made millions off pretending to be him. He was also a CO for over 2 years and had a perfect attendance record for 2 years, which goes against everything he claimed to be and lied and said he was never a CO until he couldn't deny that one anymore either just to still try to lie about how long and why he was a CO lmao. We don't care if he sold more records cuz of it or not, 50 destroyed that man's whole persona & image as a gangster drug kingpin.
@9:22 oh he got 100 keys. they are attached to a keyloop thats on his belt, they can open and lock doors. segregation, general population and most likely the officers kitchen aswell..
Rick Ross and Drake did the exact same thing. They both portrayed a fake hood boss image, and they made business moves to profit from it. Y'all are okay with it from Drake, but got a problem when it's from Ross?
Being a CO doesn't mean you ain't about that life, how do you think prisoners get their drugs a lot of the time? Correctional Officers are pushing weight.
I always see people say this about Ross in the comments but never hear any stories bout him doing that in real life, I did hear freeway Rick Ross (the guy he stole his name from) that guys in the prison he worked at said he would always steal their stuff that they weren’t “technically allowed” like food and shit
Yeah just cause your a cop doesnt mean your about life either. There are bad cops so what you are saying? is working as the "law" means nothing in terms of your brand???
So are, you tell me, Rick Ross. The rapper is about that life. Okay, got it because last i check. He made fraudulent claims when the real Rick Ross was and is still alive. And he was the one who's actually doing it. And he has the credentials that speak up for his name and back up his claim. So that whole statement doesn't make sense to me because you can't say oh well, he's about that life he's talking about, he's the biggest boss that's seen thus far. How are you? The biggest boss when you're taking credit for somebody who actually did it and they're still alive, and people can vouch for him.And the people that can vouch for more actually said they've seen him in work and action versus the one that's a co I can't say he's living that life.We all can say he's Lying in his raps because if he was such a Bigg Boss. And how come and nobody's vouching for him?Let that sink
Florida folks cult love Rick Ross good bad or ugly, they still love him. They don't care that he might have been a good student from a good background that had rap talent and never been a gangsta ever in his life. He's a former corrections officer that made the transition into rap and became successful even if he wasn't a gangsta, but portrays the gangsta life in his music and his spending habits reflect a gangsta so he's all good to Florida folks. A good privileged guy playing gangsta is cult acceptable to Florida folks eyes.
There’s no shame in having a decent job so what Rozay was a correctional officer it speaks to his character at least he had a pristine background and met the academic and agility qualifications to be employed by a reputable law enforcement agency there’s a lot of people with a background that’s so blemished they can’t get a clearance to work at MacDonalds Rick Ross went to college and Fifty Cent can’t spell college he can’t tell you how many syllables are in the word college and in five words or less he can’t define college the only thing that he’s good at is antagonizing harassing and trolling other artists for no apparent reason.
I'm a fan of Lou's content, but there's this one thing he does...that is sooo goofy... He'll be talking about something, and the video will cut to him at his desk...a side view...seemingly while he's recording the audio narration for the vid....and he does this side eye glance into a shrug as he finishes his sentence. I've seen it a couple times, but I'll have to keep my eye out for it again so i can time stamp it to show ppl.
Let's not forget, Rick Ross got sued back on that song "U.D.E.K.with that line, "put molly all in her champagne, she died even know it, took her home and enjoyed that, she didn't even know
That's because he was forced to Admit it Because at first He kept ignoring it and then he had D j vlad beat up because Vlad Found out the Truth about rick ross the rapper And then fifty had to expose the truth from Rick ross's baby mother
The fact that other "street" rappers saw no issues working and signing with Rick Ross is when I stopped taking gangster rap seriously. I am still glad 50 Cent exposed this fraud regardless 💯
Ross is still going VERY strong and musically has lasted longer than 50. I actually find it far more impressive that Ross is still relevant musically after all of 50's exposing.
50 cent never hurt Rick Ross. Album sales never plummeted or his net worth. In fact Rick Ross had more diss tracks and trolling fiascos more than 50 cent
Maybe that’s why I actually like the mastermind album because he finally admitted the truth. I didn’t even realize it at the time. I just liked the music.
It was VERY nice to see his first baby’s mom speaking so calmly without all the WILD attention seeking facial expressions. Dear GAWD! She seemed like an entirely different human being. I mean now it makes a little more sense.
However you feel about Rick Ross, Ross is still walking like nothing happened. He is still on top, winning enjoying his life. Not too many rappers can say that.
50 did everything right to ruin Ross but times changed so that people with industry backing and good records mean listeners don't care if someone snitched, lied about their past, or have bogus credibility they propped up as part of their image and songs. It used to matter but not anymore. Hip-hop became less about culture and more about radio hits and casuals wanting a fun song. Hence Drake's huge success since even stealing other songs and people's work doesn't matter to most people either.
As it was said toward the end of the video, while stuff like this can kill you in hiphop, the larger listening base, the casual mainstream listeners will never really care and that’s where the money is made and where the sales are really coming from. These guys know they can package and sell a bullshit product to a bunch of dumb white kids in the suburbs.
Destroyed 😂😂😂when the beef started 50 was worth 60 mil....Ross was at 10 mil....in 2024....Ross is at 100 mil plus.....50s net worth is 40 mil.....If anything he motivated Ross to stick to the business side 😂😂
