Sometimes I wake up, I think about the fact that humans are pieces of shit that don't care about the environment. Then I see this video and I feel so much better, reading the comments literally made me tear up because I feel so great about the fact that there are people that care, there are people ready to change the world! I'm so emotional right now, I literally checked the tree counter every 30 seconds today in math class. I was there when it hit 50 million and all I have left to say is Thank you for changing my world and so many others. thank you for restoring our world back to the beauty of before. thank you for helping the beautiful animals get there territory back, and for helping California recover. thank you for supporting family's in need. thank you for being so community driven, for empowering woman, and respecting my data. and for inspiring me to do better, to strive higher, to see the power of me to make change in this world. but most of all thanks, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for inspiring us to be the best we can be, and that out of nowhere, one person and one tree can change the world. It's crazy to see how you've grown from 2014 and in the past week I have roped 15 people onto the ecosia train to celebrate 50m, and will continue until we hit 100 million trees and beyond. The crazy thing is the community we have grown together, and how it will continue to expand. I have been spreading good things about this search engine among friends/families. I know this comment may be ignored, but can you do something for India? It has rich ecosystem with various trees, birds etc. and it's under threat due to increasing population, and plastics. Can ecosia pleasee do something/anything about it?

This is one of the most major steps we need to do to helping the future. Trees, algae, and other plants are the way of the future, steel, concrete, and fossil fuels are not. Alternative fuels and food can be made from algae, trees store Co2 and provide wood for the massive wooden skyscrapers of the near future. (Ok, I really wanted to say that! Don't judge me!)

Just last week it said like 47 million or 49 million either way that's at least a million trees in a week. Great job! I've only planted 4.37777778 myself but I guess it still makes a difference.

I'm a Colombian Venezuelan and German I use ecosia for more than a year and a half. I was in the Amazon, on the coast, and in el Campo Guantanamo in Colombia. My grandmother's home is disappearing more and more. Her childhood house is Close by the coal mines, the wonderfully beautiful green view disappears. bad and bald areas are now normal. The people of this village were formerly known for their healing green meadows and densely populated forests. Every two years I go there, to try to teach the children that nature is more important than all the money in the world. But it's hard to reach them because off almost all family members are working in the mines. But i will never stop. In our family always been the tradition of planting one tree a year. Thank you for bringing people closer to nature and for bringing hope back to the future.

4,110 trees and counting. I started early on, some webpage that could bring you to random sites (secure and with options) I was on the utility section when I stumbled upon Ecosia in the early phases. IIRC I think my tree counter around 300 trees accounted for a pretty large chunk of the total trees planted, something like 0.03% or 0.3%. Now you can add 3 more zeros to that percentage even at 4.11k trees planted, am but a drop in the ocean of change. How humbling. Excellent growth since, keep it up!
