Checked my old Lefevre-made Reebok P4 580 Mike Smith practice glove and can confirm that the single-T is offset on older models. CCM must have missed that detail when replicating the 90-degree break in their more recent models after Lefevre’s departure

@@HockeyReviews Just picked up some pro-return gear. Shoutout to Fanelli Hockey. Vaughn SLR2 pads n blocker and since he didn’t have the catch an older LT90. The catcher has got to better than my hateful Vaughn 7400 6-8 years and it still won’t close properly. I’m hoping the pads slide as good as you say. I’ll know Sunday 🤷🏼‍♂️

The set I tried were used and still slid like nothing else, so hopefully they have the Quickslide and it's the same result!

Yea I've also seen NHLers do that in the rvh where the glove is facing inwards I do it cause u can push off the post with your hand + your leg which makes the push more explosive but idk what the exact reason is

To be fair you should use all single T in comparison not double and single , just different enough to change closeur

I have had an axis 580 glove for about 6 months now playing 3 plus times a week and have had ZERO issues with puck coming out and zero issues with quailty so stop trying to make it that just because it's not made in Canada the quailty isn't good.

I feel like you haven't been paying attention to my videos if you think I don't believe a non-Made in Canada product means it isn't good. I state specifically in this video the tee gap probably doesn't make a difference in playing, but the difference is in production and QA in manufacturing. CCM shipped gloves off like that with a flawed design. They clearly saw it was a flawed design since I have had multiple people tell me they made changes and fixed it with the Eflex 5, which I also show in this video. Country of origin has no basis on how well a product is made, quality of materials and manufacturing tolerances are what matters, and with True vs CCM the materials and attention to detail in manufacturing is significant. I have openly stated that the True TF9 player skate that is made overseas is of higher quality than the custom True skates made in Canada.

Agree, 590 Axis is best yet for me. Same materials are used overseas compare to Canada, ppl making these comparisons are complete, bull and none sense. I'm talking ccm, not comparing to True.

CCM materials are not the same as the True materials. The reason I have been differentiating overseas compared to Canada with CCM is because the Canadian made Leferve products made for the pros were better quality than what the retail gear was.
