Want a tip? Climber onto something like a car or military area wall and the zombies can’t hit you. But you can hit them. No point letting zombies destroy your clothing.
Quick tip: the mushroom doesn't always mean that there's a player nearby. If it's a fresh mushroom it can also be spawning because of you. You can also sneak up behind the zombie and kill it with the knife stealthy to don't attract any other zombies. And last, the more you sprint, the quicker your stats go down. So try avoid sprinting and then food and water won't be such a big issue. Hope it helps. Great video!

@TorakOfficial yeah, it's the same with stones on dirt roads or train tracks - if you're in the area long enough, they'll start spawning in. Keeping the stats high, will also help you to stay healthy, you're less likely to get a cold. You're very welcome! I really enjoyed your video!!
It's fun to watch someone new doing a DayZ play through. Some observations: In the begining, you could have unloaded your MKII mag and used the .22 lr in your Sporter by chambering a round. It would have at least gave you something. You could have head shotted those military and police zombies with your Scorpion. Just don't shoot too many times in a row or the zombies will aggro. It would have kept you from ruining that stab vest. You can eat mushrooms. Take the fat from the animals too. You can cook and eat it just fine.
i didnt realise the MKII had the same as sporter tbh, thanks true only one bullet would have been so worth it to get the vest eating mushrooms hasn´t even crossed my mind haha thank you for all the tips, i´ll try to improve :)
We are all improving. I learn something new all the time. You're doing just fine. Holding off those 3 zombies and killing them was impressive for a newish player.
Thank you... 45 hours in, and I thought I was doing terrible on vanilla server... but seems I'm doing normal (one toon alive now for 10+ hours - a personal achievement, after dying over and over)
@@TorakOfficial It's my server TBH. If you want to check it out sometime that would be great. I'm keeping it simple as far as how close it is to vanilla. I just added bots and quality of life mods. Let me know if you check it out or not. :D
