I would be shocked if this isn't nominated for a Latin Grammy. Heck, I would be shocked if Iglesias wasn't invited to perform this at the ceremony itself. Not happening until the 14th of November this year, which assuming that the Mets don't make it far into the postseason (if they can make it in) should mean he'll be available. You love to see that passion for music. Can't wait for more bangers like this.

i was a huge Iglesias fan when he was w/Detroit bc while he wasn't a star, his energy was infectious and he was a brilliant SS which made his weak bat much more palatable. so happy for this run and yeah, OMG is a banger so its appeal is genuine!

Fabulous story and he’s now hitting .342 with a .883 OPS - for a journeyman he’s having one heck of a season and if baseball doesn’t work out he’s got music. Might be why he’s going off this season - no real downside he’s clearly got musical talent as well. Super happy for him. Seems like a great guy.

I know the Mets are always the laughing stock. Met fan here. We deserve it most of the time tbf, but it’s cause of guys like iglesias and his story which is why I’ll die a met fan. Through all the bad and there’s a lot of bad. Stuff like this makes it worth it. Just get me a ring tho, that’d be nice.
