In the paradox game hearts of iron 4, when playing as Poland there is a hidden focus tree that allows you to get Wojtek as a general when controlling Iran and Italy. He can then become field Marshal. Finally, if the Soviet Union is defeated and Poland raids NKVD documents, the then king Anastasia Romanov is found fraud, and Wojtek can become the king of Poland, and then the Slavic world.

There is a statue of wojtek in my town, wojtek is the logo for our school uniform. He spent time in our town in Scotland and people used to let him drink and got him to smoke cigarettes

Idrk 'bout anyone else, but I have always found the Wojtek the bear story truly wholesome more than anything else. (Obviously except for the part where he passed, and when his life was risked)

There is book in my country about Bear Wojtek. I even got autograph fro writer of this book. Probably one of the best stories.

Having separate stories that all follow a common theme is such a nice change to how this channel used to be run. Always felt so hard to keep the different stories straight before

honestly the video quality has just dropped. It dosen't even feel like the same channel anymore, rather more like a knock off channel. Visual style is weaker, voice-over is weaker, editing is weaker and the music choice somewhat blows.

My nan's "man friend" (both widows who lost their significant others, they had been friends when they were younger, and got together after the demise of their partners), was in the regiment with Wojtek (pronounced Voytech), he used to tell me stories about the bear when I was little. Wojtek used to drink beer, smoke cigarettes, and play fight with the men, essentially he saw himself as one of them, he even had his own passport. Because of his size and strength he was able to carry munitions with ease. He was a great bear who did a lot for the Polish army. Sadly the man friend passed away in 2011, and my nan died in June 2022. It's great to see a video on this because a lot of people don't know about Wojtek.

The fact this video has 40k views in 9 days shows that they really did make a mistake by trying to sell their channel. They had a good thing going too :(

Man, personally, I don’t care about the drama that’s happened with the founders or creators of Disrupt. But the 3 stories in one video format is just so much better than these short stories.

Please continue making videos! Your style of content is so unique!

In regards to the closing statement, “there is a darker side to the animal kingdom”, the three stories shows us it’s likely to be us primates. The first story, the bear’s habits appear to be the result of the natural environment living with humans. This story with the bear is quite unique as it’s behavior was not forced upon or forcefully controlled. The second story, Chimp War, it’s likely to be a biological instinct just like humans with greed and power. The third story with the moose, is humans attempting to control its biological behavior for human interest.

I know that Jak was dishonest with his fundraising endeavor and tried to fill his pockets so that he could have funds to secure full ownership of this channel- But IMHO- without him here, recent productions are just lacking and not the same. He had a hand in the creative design of projects and his experience and oversight created a format that I grew comfortable with😑 Can we revise a tarnished past? Can his errors and the active role he played as a host of this channel be reconciled? Because I'm not feeling enthusiastic about the future of Disrupt as it stands. It may go on but without improvement and the lure of previous familiarity, I will not be here to see it. I respect your efforts Jordan, and those of every editor and creator on your team but giving a collection of 3 short stories in a short 14 minute span just doesn't do it for me. When Jak was host? Disrupt cranked out 20 and 30 minute exposés, stories, documentaries etc that would have you on the edge of your seat during dinner. Where does V.R./A R./The Metaverse/Future Tech/Etc etc intersect and come into play here? Jak had The Smoothest ad segues. So damn smooth that I didn't realize I was being shown an ad, I was intrigued and couldn't click away because the aesthetics of graphic animations and his delivery of every line was satiating like that of a late night radio dj.

Good to see you’re back, and good riddance to Jak… but you need a better narrator. My humble opinion - don’t try to emulate Jak, get someone who can do his/her own thing and run this show. Here’s to Disrupt 2.0 🥂

Ok so probably no one in charge will read this comment, and even if so, it wont change anything. I enjoyed those films because of content, but a huge role was played by the original voiceover. Sorry to the new voice actor, but I don't like his voice, and unfortunetly Im not enjoying it anymore. Im sure content is still top notch, and its nothing personal

Aight, there's probably gonna be like a million low effort comments here in a day or two about how this guy butchers "Wojtek", but before that happens i want to give some perspective: Wojtek is pronounced Voy-Tec (exactly as the correction in the description states, thank you for that.) Now, this may not seem like a big difference, but here's how Wojtek would be written if it was written the same way disrupt pronounces it: "Łodżitek." Notice how this is a whole-ass new word, and is actually much closer to our pronunciation of Logitech (Lodżitek) than Wojtek. You probably won't relate if you're not bi-lingual but, just trust me on this, every single time he utters that cursed word, i come one step closer to tearing my face off in anguish. It's one of those feelings you just can't put into words, like looking at someone typing "google" into google to get to google. Oh, yeah, the video's great btw, just had to get this of my chest LOL. Just, please, next time you need to pronounce a foreign word, just put it into google translate and press the speaker for a reference. Thank You for coming to my Kurwa talk. edit: just found out what happened here 3 months ago. yikes. one less channel to hog up my subscription feed :P

it wasn't a grizzly bear, it was a Eurasian brown bear. Grizzly bears are only found in North America. There is no way you would ever find a grizzly bear in 1940s Iran.

Great video but a small suggestion: maybe look into the pronunciation of names in other languages (e.g. wojtek is pronounced similar to voytek), instead of reading it as if it were english. I understand it wont be possible to read words in foreign languages perfectly, but a roughly similar pronunciation would be more than enough. Thanks!

I don't think anybody thought from the explanation video, that you would be the one actually replacing Jak, and you would hire someone out to narrate. I don't think you are cut out for it tbh, you were the behind the scenes guy for a reason clearly. If you went back to the old thumbnail style and video graphics, then hired out a narrator that sounded like Jak, it would be fine. Shouldn't be hard to find. The video topics are fine, but you need to keep doing hackers and other things too. It's not the same and your views reflect that. The comments even say it's not as good as it was, whilst i still think it's good and has potential, i concur with them it's not the same. I appreciate you want to keep soldiering on, but you need to recalibrate here if you want to make this channel survive and get to 2 million subs and beyond. I really hope you take this advice on board because i want this channel to survive, but the way it's going right now i'm actually not sure....
