How A Bomber Jacket Should Fit/How To Have The Right Fit On A Men's Bomber Jacket 

Just bought an Asos black suede bomber jacket in extra large and the fit is perfect. 👍🏽to my stylist!!

This was a great style guide. I like how you went into the technical signifiers of the ideal bomber jacket fit, instead of going into generalizations like almost ALL of the other mens fashion youtubers ive come across.. I have been trying to decide on sizes for a North Face Gotham jacket, and it has been tricky because they tend to run a bit larger. I usually wear a large in most coats cause of my arms, but I tried on a small today and noticed that the arms were maybe only a half-inch shorter than the large, with the cuff falling right at the wrist bone. The main difference was in the volume of the torso, which I thought was pretty interesting. I wasn't sure if the jacket cuff should fall at my wrist bone, or at the top of my palm. I liked the wrist bone look a lot better, and based on what you were saying, that is because it was the right fit. You took a whole lot of indecision out of my Friday afternoon, and did it in less than 5 min. Props bruv.

I bought a large MA1 because I wanted to wear stuff under it in winter. the shoulder seam is a little past my shoulder, so it's not exactly fitted, but if I'd went smaller I'd probably not be able to fit sweaters and a hoody under it. I think I'll get a medium next though for wearing with tees. Thanks for the advice. You can get actual slim fit MA1's from alpha inds now though as well. I wish I could try them on first as the fitted one I might still need a large in.

Thanks to your video, I had to return a medium bomber jacket and get a small one. I wanted the authentic vintage look. I Looked at some old korean war and ww2 photos with bomber jackets and you are right about sizing. The jacket was worn short. The hem was close on the belt. For the sleeves the knitted part is supposed to be visible. In the end it depends if the person wearing it wants a more modern football varsity look or a traditional Korean war cut. I wanted a traditional look so I went with a shorter cut.

One thing I have noticed is that if you get the length right with the jacket, sitting just below the belt line, then the outside pockets of the jacket become really awkward to use - they always feel like they sit too high.

On the sleeves, are they supposed to fit to a certain length when your arms are up or out to the sides? Feels weird if they ride up too high

My problem with buying a jacket that fits perfect is that I’m to bothered by the idea that it won’t fit after a couple trips to the all you can eat buffet or quick trip to the dry cleaners. 😂🤣

my belly is too big I bought a new bomber jacket but it's pretty tight, it fits well like you say it should in this video I can grab bout an inch on each side but I think I just need to lose some weight so it looks good instead of my belly poppin out of it lol
