Good way to catch it on fire is to leave that grease in the top of them heads first cotton picker I ran was a 9960 4 row I was praying it would burn to the ground I can’t stand the way John deer. Designed the way the basket lifts up and down. I hated that picker.
That grease is there on every picker. A bearing going out is what will catch it on fire. Also every basket picker lifts the same way excluding the newest John Deere the 9996.
