Whether you support monarchy or not, we cannot ignore their contribution in making Nepal an independent and sovereign nation marching towards modernity and development.
So u telling me because of them we got our democracy 😅all those innocent people came forward all those men killed ,died , hanged on street ,imprisoned for life, those common man from our very own society ,people just like us made this happened no royalty no monarchy made it happened but the common man who had a dream of freedom of nepal . so plz don’t give unnecessary credit to someone undeserving but give more credibility to all those strong and brave soul who fought till the end to make our country what it is today .
@@xyzlove9656 Ok and who fought and made the country, that you call Nepal. If there was no Nepal. Which country would you be fighting for democracy 🤣🤔.
@@omarainbowd7742 u tell me who fought and made nepal huh ? Don’t give me ur social studies chapter logic here . Don’t know much better don’t speak . 4:48 4:55 Just wanted to add this, although most of us recognise the current Narayanhiti Palace, it didn’t even exist when the events in this video took place. The royal family used to live in Hanuman Dhoka Palace and moved to Narayanhiti in 1970 during King Mahendra’s reign.
Nepal ma pani ekdam informative channel haru bandaixa hai... khusi lagx ekdam... thank you very much foe becoming the inspiration of every genius person.
Watching it from Delhi, I love each and every videos of you. More such informative channels and videos should be created in Nepal. So our Neaplese people could understand their history, past and work for the development of Nepal. Keep it up brother 💛
Apart from PN Shah and Mahendra all the Kings were cowards. Tribhuwan took a stand which was a bold step but before him they were happy to live the life of a puppet. They did not care about General Public. One Crown Prince who tried to dethrone Ranas who was killed with Poison was Trailokya Bikram Shah.
It’s sad how early king Tribhuvan and Mahendra died. A long-lived Tribhuvan would been definitely helped institutionalised democracy in Nepal. But I think Nepalese were not ready for democracy in 1950s yet considering low literacy rate. King Mahendra likely did the right thing by taking over. But unfortunately, early demise of King Mahendra did change things. His death is likely the most devastating event in Nepal’s history after since Sugauli Treaty. King Birendra was king hearted but failed to give Nepal significant progress.
The kings didn’t fail ! Their plans were sabotaged by India. Through economic blockades 3 times, unfair treaties, not supporting Nepals request as zone of peace, financing anti-Nepal activities in the name of revolution.

That's what the highest quality RU-vid journalism stands for including FOREIGN RU-vidrs, ripping straight from existing journals, articles and sometimes even an entire book without a single mention to credit the author. Then make your own biased opinions and release them for clueless teenagers to chew upon.
The king said no really 😂common man fought for the nation not him during the treaty which took place in Delhi there were the warrior who fought for nation to take out Rana regime from Nepal too and so was king Tribhuvan there .he can’t say yes or no cause nepal got independent by the voice of the common people and death of those brave soul .if trivuvhan even wanted to give nepal to India he wouldn’t be allowed cause it people who fought for democracy not him and he conditions would be Same a ranas.u know he flew nepal to Delhi with all his family non in Nepal cause the anger and the felling of freedom got so strong in Nepalese people that they would have taken him out too
@@xyzlove9656 Utter nonsense. The Nepali people were not angry with the King, they were angry with the Ranas. The brave people who fought for freedom were fighting with a constitutional monarchy as the end goal. Tribhuwan’s biggest threat that compelled him to go into exile was the Ranas, not the people.
@@Anon-md5ep ohh really what threat did he had with ranas huh they would make him say tell the people to stop so people would stop.plz he took each of his family to Delhi for protection and again came back as king to nepal with ranas nai .he being the king and rana prime minster being the prime minister nai but the common people will also be allowed to form and shape the government policies and there involvement will be there too .he was clever enough to do nothing and go with the flow natra ta he would be exiled too .but sad for Tribhuvan India was ruling nepal like ranas and Tribhuvan was happy just being the king .it was mahendra his son who did everything in his power to make sure nepal is differnt and sovereignty country it was mahendra who introduced our country to world by being part of differnt international organizations inviting the queen of England and so on while the India government was literally wasn’t happy and threatening nepal
@@xyzlove9656 this manipulated guy . 🤣🤣Ranas feared annexation from india because king tribhuvan was there , thats why they gave freedom . Credit only goes to king tribhuvan. And also , he had escape to india secretly.
@@xyzlove9656 apart from king Gyanendra’s coup in 2005, I don’t think monarchy has done anything bad for Nepal. Even Gyanendra’s intentions were good, just that he couldn’t do it in the right way. You are way too prejudiced if you ignore the contributions of monarchy.
The partrties of the tripartite agreement were : Ranas ,Nepali citizens ( represented by king ) and India. The political parties were just there to help the King.
Honestly shah kings never get a clean chit to rule in Nepal the only time king Mahendra ruled ( for 11 years) was when the finance of Nepal was at zero level after all looted by Ranas before leaving their rule

What all Nepali should understand is that sending troops to fight along Britain during both the world war and for oppressing the uprising in Colonial India against the British tyrant was never in the interest of Nepal and collectively South Asia. Even if Nepali got fame as what British like to call "Brave Gurkha" all over the world but at the end of the story, Gurkhas are seen as oppressors all over the world, for ex. Falkland Island 1982, the First and Second Anglo-Sikh Wars, Anglo-Afghan wars, and in suppressing the Indian Rebellion of 1857,etc. 3:08 is a kind of perspective that all Nepali should develop irrespective of your background! If are aligned with the interest of Nepal, then you SHOULD do it.
Sir I think you are wrong at a point 10:03 because the Delhi Accord happend in 1st Falgun 2007 after that Tribhuwan came back to Nepal and he announced The End of Rana Regime on Falgun 7th 2007 !! I think you are mistaken 🙂🙂❤️❤️
You need to be careful before selecting title as now its not just your opinion it should be compatible with your thousand of viewers. I noticed you changed the title once or twice before too. Otherwise your effort is appreciable. Keep going🙌👏
Those who said Tribhuvan fled to India Tribhuvan was on direct watch under ranas and has life threat so he decided to support from India. Tribhuvan was one who gave a hope to revolution of praja parisad offering Rs 4000 to publish the news and pamplets and was continuously supporting without being detected and when 4 matyrs was about to be killed he demanded to give common forgiveness to them but the rana rejected instead they said the king demanded to hang the martyrs for action against government and the Mahendra helped to import printing machine inside valley which help to publish pamplet against ranas. Don't talk without any research. And most importantly he said after Rana rule is abolished the democratic rule will be effective because I don't know how will my future generation will treat the people of nation.
LEADER guide toward a direction. But nepal has always been in hands of all nepali. Is nepal our mother. Do we take care of our mother nepal. It not only rana or king or soilder job. It all of us. My ansestor were one of the few who didnot have to bow to rana or saha. Instead they bowed to some of my ansestor as we were the guru that guided them. My ansestor gudied both rana and shah. Some of my family contribution even indlude the construction of nepali flag. Even the mathmathical aspects to the constitution placement was a job performed by my surname. My ansestor provide asistance to both rana and saha in matter that benefit mother nepal. We were guru of both side. We helped pritivinrayan saha defeat nuwacoat the foundation to unification. A reason why my surname is even asosicated with nuwacoat as the reason of victory. There may be more aspects. But the reality is we every day nepali are responsible to the devlopment of nepal. It is not just the leader job. Before pointing question at them. What have we done for nepal. Even farmer job may look simple but it is burden by responsibility to feed the nation.
After all this, we escaped the Indian invasion of Nepal. India must have helped Nepal with a long-term vision of incorporating Nepal into its mainland. Mahendra played a huge role to make Nepal sovereign. Yet we doubt King Gyanendra's intent!! who has seen, heard, and experienced all the evil plots of India, more than the political parties of Nepal. I am up for ceremonial king and directly elected PM in Nepal.
Though,I was too young to understand Nepal’s politics while Monarchy was still around. I now think a ceremonial monarchy is likely to serve the best for Nepal’s long-term interest.
@@manthanpatel6295 bro, same number of indians come to Nepal not for hardwork but for begging. You can come and see in the streets of Kathmandu and Pokhara. At least Nepalis are hardworking and honest. Begging is not in our genes. You have to reckon as much as Nepal needs India, India needs Nepal as well. It's good to be interdependent.
