Pixar has a lot of good villains, but which one among them stands out? Any villains from Toy Story? Coco? Monsters Inc? There’s plenty! But one sticks out among all… PT Flea. And also Caleb is a villain in my eyes.
4:25 i agree. Villians should get away with it in movies more often because its not what people expect and it surprises them and it literally can make movies go viral
Yeah, it's rarely seen in any films, but I think when it's done, it tends to be really good. The only example I can think about is Avengers Infinity War, but then again that was a part 1, so I don't know if it counts. I'd love to see a fully fleshed out animated film with this same concept.
@@thejackcarlin same, i would go to cinemas and everything just to watch one but again no one makes any films like it and especially since children movies want you to learn a lesson they dont use the concept. I write books with bad endings to give a bit of a shock to the people reading it lol. and i write annoucements in diffrent laungages just to piss them off. its a wonder that they haven't already just unfollowed me and got on with there life lol
In some if not half the amount of my story concepts, the villain mostly gets away with it. Two stories are debatable as I have yet to form the story or ending but I think it’s likely they would have gotten away

I like the idea of the villain getting away with something. It wouldn’t be my go-to entirely since I think I should have a varietal touch with it but still. I’m aspired to become a horror storywriter and a good few of my story concepts have bittersweet if not bad endings. Idk if I’m an exception since the difference between children’s films and horror films not for children is obviously drastic
Yeah! No kidding... there's a little bit of a difference there. No matter what, making a story with a bad guy who wins is easy, but making it satisfying is not. A lot needs to go into understanding the motivation of the character, the personality, the advantages they have, and things like that for it to be believable, but at the same time, it still needs to be a favorable ending. It's weird to think about. Good luck with your writing!
lmaooo that's like saying Jeffery Dahmer didn't torture anyone, he just slightly modified their anatomy lol. Like imagine your head gets put onto a spider thing and you just have to exist with that now. i don't know what i'm saying at this point.
Yeah but he's voiced by famous chears actor John ratsenburger the guy behind all the Disney characters like in toy story he's ham the pig from toy story he's Mac the truck from cars yeah just so many characters so you can't complain
Well, the truth is he’s not a villain, he’s just a guy who does bad things. Of course, I threw some satire into this video, but my points are correct: he is the lesser of two evils. Hopper, the obvious villain is shown being a dictator; doing bad things. PT Flea is also clearly seen as a bad person (flea) but the difference is that we can physically see the consequences of Hoppers actions and we can see by how the ants react that he is a threat. On the other hand, PT Flea is somewhat overlooked because he is JUST selfish, he doesn’t do anything evil to anyone directly, but he does effect them. But hey if you had the same thought while watching this, you’re not alone 😁
Ya know I thought this was actually going somewhere at first something about capitalism and how the flea cares more about capitalism and the exploitation of his carnival bugs rather than fighting the authoritarian grasshoppers but no the video just goes nowhere talking about real life fleas to explain a animated films flea's actions
Thanks for the compliment? I think? Sometimes I like to get some weird concepts like this one (and my last video about Gusteau), and I like to have fun with them. At the end of the day, I work on a lot of these videos constantly, so it's nice to have fun with them occasionally :)
