The thing is that when we say woow KD, Lebron, Embiid, Jokic, AD or KAT are big men and can shoot and handle the ball, what we actually mean is woow they can do what traditional big men can do (Postup, rim protection, guarding Big men, setting screens or catching lobs)+ shoot and handle the ball, but Bol Bol can’t do what a traditional big man can do, so him being able to shoot is useless because he is unplayable, it’s not like he is a lethal catch and shoot shooter like Kyle Korver, Duncan Robinson, Buddy Hield or Joe Harris, even if these players aren’t great at anything but shooting they can still impact the game because of their efficiency, gravity and off ball movements + they are better defenders than Bol Bol. But Bol Bol is just a tall guy who shoot like an average player and he can’t even attempt a lot of shots because he is slow, doesn’t move off the ball and has no stamina, so he is useless i rather have guys like Evan Fournier, Desmon Bane, Kelly Oubre or Max Strus than Bol they are maybe short but they can shoot for real and can play defense at high intensity for 30+ min

@@flu4804 Does it make more sense to go off a 9 game sample size from the college three point line or the 53 game sample size from the nba where he shoots 38%? He’s a solid shooter but his threes are usually fairly open standstill shots with the occasional pull-up, nothing to go crazy over. Again his handles are good “for a big” but he’s too slow to beat anyone of the dribble on his own, the most he can do is attack close outs. As someone who’s seen nearly every nba game bols played, he’s a big with moderate at best guard skills who struggles at everything that modern bigs need to be good at. I wish him the best but I doubt he becomes any better then a serviceable bench player.

I think he's more than NBA material just needs to hone the skills that matter. He shouldn't be working on bringing the ball up he'll never be a guard. Should work in the paint and on offense limit his time out of paint only to pull out other bids. Also playing with the best big in the game on your team is pressure he'll be fine on other teams

@@gobot581 he's not nba material..too slow to guard players smaller. To skinny to guard players his size. Plays zero defense and has a confirmed terrible attitude and work ethic. Nothing about Bol is deserving of a NBA roster spot.
