Fist, I'd like to congratulate you for taking your channel quality seriously. It's notable that you really research about content, and care about teaching, and its edition. Second, the merchandising/sponsored content doesn't seem random, because it's useful and presented in an honest, enthusiastic, connected way. I start watching your videos aiming to improve my communication in English, especially my listening comprehension skill. But now I just enjoy them. Last, but not least, I'm putting some of your tips in practice and really taking lots of advantages on them. Take care and have a good time!

I’ve been taking 15-20 minute naps for 20 plus years and 99% of the time I do not doze off but, the benefit of clearing my head and relaxing my body gives me the boost I need to feel less tired until bedtime. Running a Small restaurant for 33 plus years is extremely Stressful and I couldn’t do it with out POWER NAPS.

I would be interested in a series on different types of breaks. The nap being one of them. From shortest to longest: A short step out, coffee break, a nap, a lunch break, an evening break of which sleeping is a part, a weekend, a vacation, a sabbatical, perhaps retirement.

I recently realized the importance of afternoon nap. My schedule last year was such that I could be home by 3 pm and I would lay down and kind of drift off for about 40 minutes to an hour. Then I would start studying. This year my classes are such that my first class is at 11:30 in the morning and last class is 5:30, this isn't too bad because I use the time in between to study and do revision but by the time i get to my 5:30 class I'm sleepy and exhausted. Spending 30 mins in a quiet corner of the library just drifting off made such a huge difference to my energy during the rest of the day

I nap every single day. I started it 30 years ago just because it felt good and felt great afterwards. Looking at my non-napper friends from that era, you would tell that something huge called "aging" happened to them, but not so much to me. I do look older that I did three decades ago, but I don't look like a train run over me. :-)

I always take a nap after school (about 3 pm), but I have noticed that when I try sleeping in a dark room I wake up feeling like I was hit by a car. So I make sure that the room is quiet but also relatively bright. It does take some getting used to but the light always wakes you at the perfect moment so you feel well rested when you wake up.
