How a powerful skill helped at-risk youth 

In my opinion, the best resource you can give troubled youth, especially young men, is a male role model. I'm a teacher at a middle school and we don't have many troubled youth, but like all schools, we have some who come from family situations that aren't that great. I notice most of those kids don't have a positive male figure in their life. Either their father is absent, in jail or is just not involved in their child's life. It's damaging for every kid, because they NEED that father figure in their life. Unfortunately, we don't have enough men in our education system to act as role models for these kids.
