This video got me into bouldering. Done it twice. On my second visit to the local gym I took 10 of my friends with me for a group climbing day. Everyone loved it. I think I am hooked. Your videos brightened my days when I was bullied in middle school and now when I'm 26, living on my own, dealing with adult problems you got me into a new sport and it makes me happy. Pewds, I used to watch your YT vids over 10 years ago and (I'll be honest) it's been a while since I sat down and watched one again. I was so into your video game playthroughs, your humor, etc. You always made me smile. Growing up still with a love for video games, I got into fitness myself and now coach others for a living on how to work out safely and hit their goals. When I saw your IG post of you ripped, I was so happy for you. I didn't know you were also climbing along with your usual fitness routine, but I have also been thinking about trying it myself. This vid also felt very nostalgic despite it being so different from your content when I was watching you long ago. Happy to see you are healthy and thriving, and congratulations to your new family. Truly happy for you. And I agree, climbing is in so many video games. Level up in a game, but don't forget to level up IRL too! I hope this encourages others to start their fitness journeys/begin climbing!

100% agree with all your points at the end, climbing is the best! You shouldn't feel self conscious at all, because 99% of people at the gym are super nice and friendly and willing to give advice or ideas for how to do a move if you ever ask them :D Falling is expected and you will do a lot of it, everyone does, so just learn how to fall safely and feel confident that you have built up the right instincts that you won't hurt yourself if you fall and that honestly helps a lot with the fear.

I love climbing, so dope to see Felix do it. for 12:50 there's a saying. "All are equal on slab". You cant just power through it, you gotta be more precise, balance and watch your falls more. Awesome stuff!

The climbing community is the real deal. I'm sure there's more than one exception out there, but I've never had a single stranger in the climbing gym jeer at me while working on a project. It's a space where others want to see your success...sometimes even more than you do in the moment.

been climbing for about 14 years now, great sport honestly, the folks are really nice everywhere you go and it's all around a great environment in my opinion, even when you compete against people they will discuss strategies to pass the route with you and give advice

I just started drawing as a hobby, and I actually started to doubt myself because I am 21 and I thought I am too old to even start a new hobby. I stopped that hobby after filling out the first page of my supposed drawing book. Watching Felix do different things every time motivates me to actually do things and he just proved that age means nothing hahaha. this channel helped me get through my teenage years and I didn't know that it will still help me in my 20s. thanks Felix for doing this.

Climbing changed my life too. I was a HUGE gamer growing up and slowly phased out of it. I was in a bad depression rut when my buddy invited me to his climbing club. 15 months later I have climbed every week at least once since then. I am in the best physical shape of my life, and I have become president of said climbing club! It has changed my life for the better and I push myself every day to climb better, andn get more people interested so their lives can grow like mine has!

This is becoming beyond impressive,let count the skills: 1)Elite physique(started a while back but still impressive) 2)Improving Art 3)Mastering surfing 4) Becoming a great climber He is doing this while being a supportive husband,dad and friend.Felix has being a force of genuine motivation he provided that if you put enough time and consistency anything is possible.curious what this chad of a human being will pick up next.
