First video after the Durability Changes! So please remember - We are currently playing in Preseason pretty much. Every single champion has changed and also likely - every single champion will be buffed/nerfed again in the next couple of patches. The game is going to be VERY random for a while so give the pick a try(In normals first) and have fun! But talons new winrate does look quite promising!
I remember these good old times when assassin actually worked and were sometimes actually fun to play despite their low durability, but that's all now gone and ain't coming back.
Hey, there is a player playing full ap ivern top in Brazil and he got grandmaster, i've found his playstyle very interesting, his name is "IVERN LINDO BR"
@@eyjay1508 stacks are not reseting.their expiration time is just refreshed so you can do aa stay in a fight and then put more stacks when cd allows it.
I feel the "Dont's" of whatever pick is being showcased could be helpful for people who want to pickup whatever pick is being showcased. While seeing the optimal playstyle is ideal, I believe learning from mistakes is important.
If you want to make bot lane even more hell try to play it with a ADC that can cc or someone who can roam with you. I played a lot of Veigar, Talon bot and 1 cage means death, pretty funny. You could also go adc with Pyke support and just kill the entire map together
I like how still a big percentage can't believe that you can play LoL however you want. Like. Sure pyke is assassin but no fk exept community holds you from doing so (you fks). It's really more fun for to play supp with a unusual support, hence why lot of supports cherished for bard, senna and pyke
@@ItsJustKaya Yet there's always this guy telling you you're a troll, he's going 0/10 with his Irelia mid (which was actually an exotic pick before pro players started to play it mid), telling you your pick lost the game alone while he is the only one losing his 1v1 mid. Nice community.
Great video as always Chime! Suggestion: when making a video abot a botlane champion, ask the player which others champions are good to pair it on bot or to better achive the picks goals
This pick is amazing, i have played 4 games (1 as adc) and have gone 10/1/10, 12/9/17, 18/2/7, and 11/11/22. It feels so good even with the durability changes.
Ahahah, all the trolling i did with my friends with Talon support. Now it's time to master the ways of Talon and play him support right Btw: 9:47. Talon can't reset his bleed proc, it's his stack duration it resets.
I love this channel so much, it feels like the reaper of solo queue because everyone says NO CHIME PLEASE NOT MY LANE PLEASE as if this one video shall unleash the floodgates of cringe offmeta into their plat promos as I sit here, laughing as a draft player enjoying the game or at least as close to that as possible while playing this god awful game that none of us can break free from for some god forsaken reason LMAO love the vids chimenoise keep up the great work I truly advocate for letting people do whatever the fuck they want along as they try even if at moment I think as a meta slave and forget the true goals and missions of an offmeta player, you hold our flag high and at the sound of the chime we strike! and then of course go 0-10 and flame the jungle XD (Cries as jungle support main, the 2 lanes with the least love :(
@@webaazul2500 I played that when she first came out, it was good but she got nerfed and the durability patch made it worse for her, so I stopped that and moved to Poppy support
I don't really get how this guy says to steal every kill possible, but then says it's ok to die if you kill a carry on the enemy team. If you're the carry on your team then dying could see the enemy team win the fight, depending on how the game is going.
Well you want to steal kills but you aren't going to get all of them. You just want to get a few kills to get some items to stay even. But you're still a support pick
12:03 "Champion design team that are terrible and don't know how to do their job." "They are the ones who add the champions with ten different passives and it's just unbalanceable." You have no idea how balance works and why making MORE passives actually makes balance EASIER because there are literally more levers to play with unlike simple champions that are stat-check machines which require incredibly precise number tuning. Old Dr. Mundo is a good example. They added more complexity to his reworked kit and it makes him easier to balance because you can buff and nerf from many different angles without breaking the character too far even if the balance on any particular lever is over tuned. If you buff his regen during the ult too much, for example, it won't be as bad since part of the power budget on the ult is the health he loses on the initial cast, making it balance against itself which ultimately makes these types of changes smaller than they seem in isolation. For this reason Akshan is one of the easiest champions to balance because he has the most levers. Also, who are you to say the design team is bad? Are you a designer? Do you have any design experience? Can you make any objective claim on how the design team is lacking in knowledge on how to do their job? Who the fk are you outside of a League of Legends RU-vid commentator (that's all I know you for)? I hate how people dunk on the balance team but for once I was happy someone is defending them but suddenly you made this ugly non-argument about the design team completely unprompted (it has nothing to do with the video - it gave me whiplash when you said that). You do great videos, but these types of comments are not only fallacious but completely unnecessary. You are not a designer (as far as I know), you do not make any substantial arguments about design (never heard you make any) and you are talking down to industry professionals for no reason. Please stick to making these cool videos and abstaining from this pointless ridicule. Talon support looks really fking cool 👍 EDIT: added timestamp
@@nullifiedblank I think it does apply, because unlike singing, you can't always feel bad design. In the case of League, Akali being immune to towers in her shroud always felt terrible, so they removed that mechanic. It was something that felt really strongly by everyone. It was egregious. But as a general rule, if you add a 3-hit passive to Akshan or remove it, there is no feeling there. It's completely arbitrary. The argument people say is "overloaded" without defining the term or even setting an arbitrary standard. Being a designer of a champion is similar to being an engineer I think rather than an artist. You have to be an engineer to know if a bridge is built horribly. With game design, you need to be a designer or design analyst of some sort in order to make any viable case against a design unless it's really, really bad (again, Akali's early rework shroud). Unlike singing where it's all about feeling (sure, there is technique, but outside of long term form, nobody cares about technique as long as it sounds good) design of champions in LoL is more on the engineering side of things as far as I've analyzed the topic. Also it's important to remember that the design team takes a lot of feedback from the balance team. The balance team aggregates statistics and for big changes hands it over to designers to find alternatives which are often really good (adding a second Q charge to Amumu was brilliant for lowering the mmr skew without changing the identity of the champion). And sometimes designers and balancers do weird stuff to test sht out. You can't know if a lever does anything if you don't change it. There is only so much you can test internally without live server numbers. I just find it incredibly hard to listen to people making arguments against industry professionals without any proper argumentation. If Skooch or smth says "this item is broken" but does not provide any argument except the implied "it feels like it", it's pointless commentary but because a lot of people watch these people, they do shape the view of the game for most people who also have no clue how the game works. Most people are not good at League of Legends and most people have never done any analysis before making some argument. When people says "Yone is broken" but when you look at statistics he has been around 49% winrate in all elos for many patches in a row, that argument comes down to people not taking the time to learn how to play and understand the strengths and weaknesses of a champion and just wanting Riot to win games for them. My problem is that these people are not very good at the game, they have no experience in game design or analysis (as far as I know) and people listen to them because they are the ones speaking out and have a platform and nobody seems to give an alternative. When I lose to a champion or have a problem with a particular match for whatever reason, I go into the replay, reread champion abilities, items and runes and do small calculations and suddenly I'm the one who made a mistake in the game and it wasn't just random bs as it felt in the moment. Feelings are valid if they are constant and if there is no other way to analyze them. You can't analyze a song to be good or bad if you metric for it is sounding good which is completely subjective. But game design can be looked at objectively to a large extent (not fully) and you can make a lot of interesting and informed decisions. I've seen plenty on interesting comments about changing certain abilities in the game and maybe these suggestions are good. But maybe they are horrible and only look good on paper prior to some analysis. Riot are doing a hell of a job (in a good way) and when some rando ridicules them, I find it unfair. Sorry for the rant. I just don't think the point in my comment is false because comparing champion design to singing seems unreasonable. Ty for taking the time to read though :]
not gonna lie , ive been watching you for a while and all your videos show one thing..... anything is possible in league , you can play anything anywhere and can rank up. :) thank you
funny, i actually got into a game with a talon support last week in low elo as an adc he was actually pretty good (wasn't at all because our opponents had no idea what to do against him)
I've been playing talon support for a long time but every time I do, get a ton of kills, carry pretty hard, and end up losing because top lane fed yet again xD
Oh shit, I used to play the pre-rework talon as support too, back when he still had his "shunpo" with silence. Jumping on the enemy support to silence them and then go all in on the adc next to them was stupidly broken. My reasoning was "the best CC support is talon, cause there is no better CC than killing the enemy adc"
from all your videos predator tf support is the best one i played like 100 drafts at this point and its really fun and good when you are bored playing casual gameplay
I feel like every single sponsor on this channel is very useful, I don't know if it is because he sells it really good or if it is because he is very selective with his sponsors but either way is impressive I find my self not skipping them, is literally the only channel I don't do that
I think he has a hand in writing the copy. If you want one that actually tastes good and has an excellent nutrition profile check out MRE, flavors are unreal. Use half the rec for meal replacement.
i love watching These videos! but some of these titles feels so unreal and fake, but in reality non of the titles is fake, but it's so off meta i just have to listen to what this pick really is everytime a new chime video comes out
NICE! Ill have to do this sometime soon. I have mained jungle since season 1 and hit d3 with shaco in season 9, with a few nunu games when i had to pick for comp. This season all i play is support nidalee, taliyah, shen, shaco, kennen, twitch, lee sin, leblanc. Almost to emerald from silver 4 0 LP on one account xd
I'm currently doing this in Wild Rift, but I'd go for Phaserush, Gathering Storm, Giant Slayer/That extra damage below 60%, Tenacity something, and Penetration every leap, dash or invi
as an otp talon I played talon supp a couple times due to not knowing how to play other champs, but I didn't realise someone actually made it work in challenger.
HappyChimenoises can you maby you vids on how people are doing from you older vids like if they got challenger or maby you could make your old vids new/rework then just an idea
I like your videos, but because of Huel's toxic social media approach I can't like the video. Keep up with that content, maybe next time you'll choose a sponsor that incorporates social responsibility :)
12:06 eeeh... the problem is the balance team is equally inept, as they rarely know why a champion struggles in win rate, and just buff some random stuff to try to compensate. Like Xerath only got damage buffs, when his problem all along was his lack of self peel, and now he simply has so much damage it is viable, but it's also pretty unbalanced when there's sufficent peel. Like, I play Xerath a lot, and his damage is *disgusting.* They also go off of winrate, which is quite a deceptive data.
