Since it’s a percent movement speed buff, champions with higher base movement speed (including flat bonuses from boots) will always benefit more. Yi with ghost for example is “more ghosted” than other champions since he’s got the highest base MS in the game at 355

Indeed. Unlike other ranged pick like Kalista, Karma etc. She gave almost every melee champ a headache, and often being ungankable with her crazy mobility and cc. But we all know they suck on balance. Even pro players are trying to play ranges top now. How more toxic do they want the game be?

Vayne is far from overpowered. She is actually very weak in the botlane. She is only good versus melee champions top. Also TEEMO,jayce and kennen are a hard counter to vayne.

@@psychokuca302 You can't compare the two. If flash was an ordinary summoner spell it'd get nerfed a thousand times already, but it's not and league is literally balanced around flash. It's the secondary runes that are supposed to be diverse.

Actually she is. She is one of the better designed champions in the game. The issue is that she has base damaged. All of her base AD and ability damages should be reduced to 0. Let her attack monsters and minions normally, but make her work as intended against champions. Then she will be finally fair, in a sense that every enemy will die in equal number of hits, subject to outside interference.

Which is basically the same as saying good luck winning. Like even if you have a mentally capably jungle on your side, Vayne is really hard to catch once she hits 6 due to her ult plus Ghost giving her insane mobility. And if the Vayne is one son of a bi***, she will be building tank after BoRK and Rageblade.

Embrace the ranged top. Stop resisting the urge of dominance. Take that kiting dopamine and become one with the devilish ranged top triad of Vayne, Teemo, and Quinn. Or, perhaps, something even more devious like Akshan or Kennen?

In lane yes, in game not so much, you need rally good macro like what is displayed here to make it work. When I play against top ranges I nearly systematically out immpact them on the long run because the enemy team has no frontlane allowing me to run them down and I will be better able to outscale a range top once I have items.

​@@azarshadakumuktir4551 you kinda overestimating, yes you need to know more in depth when playing vayne compared to some other champions but once you get used to her atk range and dmg, its not that hard probably only going to take 10-15 games for most people to accustomed with her kit

If the enemy doesn't ff15 playing a range top isn't good for the compo since doubling ADcarries is worse than actually having a frontlane, even if you have decent mechanics. A Vayne top also can't really match the splitpush of a bruiser/tank meaning she will gradually lose her advantage and he enemy team will generally have the push on sidelanes. This means that a fed Vayne top can quite quickly lose a game simply by becoming irrelevant while her opponent can make a comeeback simply by using toplane basics. This is why the pressure on the jungler demonstrated in the video is so effective, it allows Vaynee to have huge gameimpact during heer strong laning phase before becoming gradually irrelevant strategicaly in midgame. Warwick top for example uses the same strategy.

When I play league (a lot of years ago) in season 4, vayne top was a consistent Top pick, and it's gonna forever be for all the things you say. And now, is still is a good counter to a lot of top champs

I don't play vayne anywhere but bot :) but yeah he really did have a chance of living. I made a mistake initially and didn't see he had smolder running the wrong way, regardless because vayne misplayed he could've lived if he played it better. Idk if there's a chance of killing the vayne even when she doesn't condemn, hard for me to say since idk smolder well. He did only use 1 skill and on her, didn't ult, and missed most of his auto opportunities so maybe he could've, but he also could've just used his flying over one wall then flashed another and he lives. Regardless this is the type of situation where vayne should kill, the smolder went AP and smolder is not a 1shot burst mage.

Vayne(a champion that scales,has stealth and low cooldown mini-dash) doesn't even get punished when she's not good at spacing just cause Riot refuses to understand that range and movement speed are the most broken stats in the game,it's pure comedy. Challengers smurfs playing melees getting shitted on by random emerald Vayne players,damn these emerald players going crazy when they crash the first wave,they pop ghost and they auto you to death. Surely the guy is good to reach rank 2,but Vayne is obnoxiously overpowered.

Yorick isn't terrible into Vayne because you can keep her under tower for most of the laning phase but she really doesn't want to teamfight and you really aren't going to land your E if her Q is up.

@@kingol4801 To be fair i'd rather have a Darius in frontlinen hitting the enemy frontline to stack his passive than an Illaoi that desperately tries to play in range of her tentacles. The Darius will be able to Ghost or Flash on a squishy with full stacks and oneshot them or clean up the fight lategame, Illaoi is only really good in frontline if there are a bunch of Melee diving on top of her.

@theduelist92 No, you did not get the point. Darius is akin to “Jack in the box” kind of threat. He needs to be NOT in focus to stack his passive first, and once he has his passive, it does not matter if he is in focus or not anymore - they are all dead. It is very easy to shut down Darius by focusing him first, and even if he stacks his passive, it is often too late to matter and he just dies. In a situation where Darius is the ONLY frontline, he SUCKS, because he will ALWAYS be damaged first and taken out of commission first as well. Illaoi is a very strong frontline, comparatively, since she WANTS to be in people’s faces and does not CARE if she is damaged first. Of course the teamfight formation becomes stationary, as you mentioned, because she is only tanky inside her sweet spot zone…. But it is a strong formation nonetheless, even if limited. Darius frontline is anti-thesis of his character concept, since Darius being the first one to be bursted down is the opposite of what he wants as a character. If Illaoi is very situational and limited frontline in terms of capability, Darius does not even have that capability period. Asking Darius to be a frontline is akin to asking Yi to tank…. Don’t.
