Like most people, they too grieve and mourn the loss of loved ones, but then as Muslims they also believe this life on earth is NOT the end of the story of life, rather it's merely a brief temporary sojourn and death ushers us into the beginning of the eternity of true life, the "afterlife" where Man will meet his/her maker in unbounded happiness, in the fulfillment of his true existence. So there is nothing really to be sorry about death which is merely a transition from transience to permanence of existence, a spiritual liberation and freedom. If you take this bigger picture into account, people should be happy about it instead, this natural consequence of earthly life should be "celebrated" really. Now, everybody in the earth may not share this belief or perspective, although many do both muslims and non-muslims, but not recognizing other people's perspective (of billions and billions of people for that matter, irrespective of religion or culture) on their own life and death, the diversity of human culture and perspectives, and calling them *"disgusting"* for it or for being different from you, is really *_disgustingly and shockingly barbaric!!!_*

Technically, all the Indian restaurants in the UK and north america have Bangladeshi food, since it is mostly from Bangladesh that all these immigrants from the Indian subcontinent came. So you can be in peace knowing that everyone is appreciating it without knowing it.

No farmers are donating anything here. People who want to host these events pay for the cows and vegetables. A 300 kilo cow costs on average 1700-2000$ in bd so you can do the math on rough estimates
