Quick introduction on how a wireless smart thermostat can can control your heating. In this video I am using the Salus iT500 and it is controlling a Modena 80E Combi boiler. You can buy the Salus iT500 direct from Amazon: amzn.to/1vNLi1g
The problem is not in the temperature regulation, but in the settings, because when the batteries ran out we had to enter all the settings again, the entry of the desired parameters was not clear to us, how to save a certain setting, it also does not recognize summer and winter time shifts, etc.
Q. Why do my iT500 buttons not work? A. Check that the screen lock is not active. If active, there will be a padlock visible in the top of the LCD. Disable by pressing and holding top two left keys on the iT500.
Salus have *STILL* not resolved the connection control issue between Alexa devices and the iT500 Receiver. This means that Alexa cannot control the heating, despite a number of negative comments about the *Alexa Skill* . This is *NOT* an Alexa issue, but needs a fix by SALUS. The primary problem is the inability to log on to the Salus system via the Alexa Skill. I wouldn't buy the iT500 until this is resolved by SALUS
Hello Carl, I have a boiler Nefit 3030 S Combi, atleast 15 years old, and I am trying to install the new 1T500 thermostat but not able to connect sender unit, can you please show the connections so I can connect myself. Already one electrician tried, but no luck.
There are no lights on at all on my white sender/receiver. Nothing happens when i reset or sync. Changed batteries on the black controller, reset the mains supply but still no lights on the white thing
Hi having a slight problem with mine,it keeps jumping forward an hour on the time.Even when I set it maually from the box it jumps forward an hour after a while. When logging into my account on the salus website on the pc that reads an hour in front too.Any help would be appreciates
Totally disagree. I was given a Salus it500 and it does the job perfectly. I agree that the Nest is newer tech and has learning modes but the Salus works perfect to just control heating & hot water using a phone app.
