So i was finishing your whole video library when this video auto played and i thought to myself, "did i miss this one somehow?" and I just realized it was just added an hour ago. Anyways, I just thought it was a nice little treat that there was a new video right after i finished all your other ones.
Been binge watching for two days and for the second time ever i joined a patreon . Your videos are so fucking awesome !!! Im glad to help support your journey and i hope many blessings fall your way ! Epic brother just epic all around . Thank you !
BTW, LORE CONTINUITY, Grandpa Perceus turned Atlas into a stone mountain with Medusa's head. And by the time Hercules showed up, Atlas is de-stoned. Anyone ever stop to think on that one?... Like, literally, Atlas just destoned himself over time.
if only one youtube channel could be saved it'd have to be yours. I immediately watch your new videos, it's always a great treat listening to you! Keep going, you're amazing :) (also, love the AoT reference, best anime out there!)
19:30 absolutely took me out of my history lesson 😭😭😭😭 Bro I only found you the other day but since then I’ve watched almost all your current vids. 💯 your Brilliant!! 👊🏾
@@alba..8479 He was considered a "Demi-God". Meaning he is a hybrid. If the fallen angels came and set themselves up as gods and took wives and had hybrid offspring who we know as the Nephilim and they had great physical stature and power, along with being the ones mentioned as the men of renown and the heroes of old then it's not an observation it's a fact. These beings were the fallen angels and their hybrid demonic offspring the Nephilim.
@@fendisaintlaurent4257Different mythology though. If those stories were connected, then Heracles could have been considered a nephilim. But he wasn't a character from the Bible.
It’s done perfect. Perfect timing and perfect humor that works. I love history and this channel puts spin on it. This guy is going to blow up. I got recommended two days ago and have been binging since. My first was the first Roman emperor then Caesar.
Greek here, your video is very good you pronounce the names and spell them well there's just a bit of inaccuracies in the video when Herakles had to bring back the Cerynitian Hind and the Erymanthian boar back to King Eurystheus and you didn't mention Herakles' cousin Theseus stopping him from jumping off a mountain after the death of his family. Very solid story non the less
The art, the dope edits, the way you simply tell the stories, your humor, the accent, the pup, and youre very handsome. I could listen to you read the phone book LOL I will sub to your Patreon, as well. @@Briefed_Mythology
He exaggerated the actions of Heracles, blaming him for the killing of his family by hera and blaming him for the 12 labourers. When he was enslaved by his cousin, he did not choose the twelve labours he was forced to do them or die
Hera's glory... The name was maybe a bad omen because Hera herself was full of rage and madness. Zeus changing his name into Heracles was a self vorfilling prophecy.
The thing is, the ancient people wrote about these gods and heroes like they were real people they saw. Makes you wonder, there must be truth to some of these gods and heroes.
Actually yes. Half of them comes.before.the deatruction of 9600 bcr. They were real people, but they used them as an example. So they made them gods with small g "gods" which in Greek means "θέον" from "running very fast". So, when they died, these examples of people became gods as an wxample of where the human should reach his level. And there were not 12, 13, 15, they were thousands of them. Odysseus was a clever one. So, they gave him goddess Athena to protrct him because of his smartness and wisdom. Palamedes was from the genealogical tree of the real Poseidon. So they called him the son of Poseidon, because he was cunning general, great warrior, kids nd man and best friend of Achilles, Ajax and Patroclus and the most trusted one among the Acheans. Achilles was strong, he was an wxcellent warrior. Perfect strategist, he loved Polyxene "Πολυξένη" (granddaughter of Priam the 2nd), he supported Briseis, because she was a good and kind girl and he understood her correctly, he he had above everything else his family which it was his wife "Διαδιάνη" and his son Neoptolemus and all the acheans had him as his leader and they followed mostly him instead of Agamemnon and Menelaus. The majority of the stories of the gods are mostly alegories of either real thought, or real events that happened, but writters added them to awe the readers
I've watched all your videos bro, you're hella funny and thanks for finally doing a Heracles video, I've been asking for it and you told me it's on the way😊. It's finally here❤❤❤
Found the channel, absorbed the entertaining historical mythology/history on the human condition in less than 1 wk…Been waiting almost 72 hrs for a new vid bro!! 🥶 Hercules! Heracles! LFG! 😂
That vulture eats Prometheus' immortal liver every day, which then grows back every night. Heracles killed the vulture and freed Prometheus from this torment. This guy seems biased about the situation
4:14 ITS THE RETURN OF THE ROCK!!! I smell whatcha cooking.😂😂😂 10:19 I'm dead, LMFAO😂😂😂 P.S.: I feel like my joke fell on its face, LOL. I was eluding to that song "Return of The Mack". I'm not as good at the metaphorical and witty jokes like you, but I tried, lmao. As always big brother, we loved the video. We've been sharing your videos to our friends. They are entertaining asl and educational as well. On behalf of all us subscribed to you and that watch all your videos. Thank you.
