The spelling of Vizhinjam is mistyped as "Vishinjam" in the Mind Map. Kindly ignore. Also, for those pointing at the incorrect display of the map. I heartily understand and respect their sentiments. I apologise for the mistake and have already corrected it for the upcoming videos. Removing the video will severely impact the growth of a small channel like us. Though if this still bothers you, please mail me at thebokarocompany@gmail.com with a subject line "Adani Ports: Wrong Map Displayed". If I receive atleast 10 such mails. I"ll remove the video. Hope this sounds resolving. Vivek Kumar
Vizhinjam port is a special purpose government company, fully owned by the Government of Kerala, that would act as an implementing agency for its development. In 2015, the Adani Vizhinjam Port Private Limited signed a 40-year agreement with the state government to build and maintain the port. Under this private public partnership deal, the Adani group would design, develop, finance, operate the port valued at 7,525 crore. According to the signed deal, Adani Group will have the only right to operate the port under licence for the first 40 years, and then for an additional 20 years if they builds the second phase of the project at its own expense during the first 30 years.[34]
Central government must build a dedicated freight corridor across Kerala (end to end --- North to South) & quadruple all other train routes connecting TN, Karnataka & Andhra Pradesh....
@@yogeeshamr Will be cheaper for DFR corridor to link to South through Tamil Nadu via Chennai, and then onward to Bangalore as these links have already been planned and because going over flat ground, while crossing W. Ghats or the many rivers in Kerala will be much more expensive. The DFR corridoor to Vishakapatnam is already approved for funding. A link to Kochi DP container port can possibly use an existing rail link because the required capacity is much less. The DFR corridor link to the East coast is more important than the west coast because transhipment between Vizhinjam to the east coast requires circumnavigation of Sri Lanka, which gives Colombo port an advantage unless there is a fast high capacity freight link for containers with the DFR corridor on the East Coast.
"Bro, you made great content, but more detail and research about Vizhinjam port were missing, so I request that you please make another part of this video." I would appreciate your hard work.❤
The port was originally the idea of a visionary congress leader sri.ummen chandy and he pushed it through all the odds and heavy resistance set by the communist party ..If it was not for him, this would have never happened...
Port at Greater Nicobar along with Vizhinjim port will strengthen Bharat to dominate trades, businesses of Indian ocean & south-asia sea. Jai hind. 🙏🏼🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🙏🏼
india has tremendous untapped potential. it is the hidden gem of the world. it took ten years to uncover India from the dirt.. only ten, imagine that. public sector, private sector, everyone is joining the positive movement. So good to see.
This is not a Port owned by Adani. It's a flagship project of Kerala Government. Adani is the contractor for running the port. The port name is Vizhinjam International Sea Port limited Trivandrum.
Ithu ainda George..? Ninte kaaryangal polum shariyaakkanakunnille? Nee ee pradeshikaavum gothravumaaya manobhavam eppol nirttum? All key ports are built and paid for by the Central Gov Ministry of Ports, Shipments and waterways. When will you stop this regional and tribal mentality? Adani and Central Gov are doing this using public private partnership and funds. All that Kerala Gov has to do is provide regional clearances, sit back and reap the massive collateral benefits of this infrastructure..
Indians should also ask why this Vizhinjam port was so delayed. This should have been one among the first few ports that we had to build. National interest should always trump our regional interests. We trail so behind just because the influential big cities were prioritized over our strategic interests. We lost so much on goods tax to Colombo, Dubai and Singapore port
Vizhinjam Transshipment international deep sea port is a joint-venture of the Centre-Kerala State-Adani group of companies. Not sure, why the bokaro project is showing interest in it unnecessarily. Hoping for its speedy completion by 2028.
Mark my words if Tazpur port of West bengal and Paradwip port are going to surge in Importance, If we successfully build NW-1, kolkata Varanasi expressway and EDFC in time.
superb video brother. very informative & nice explanation. just one suggestion: plz correct indian map in your video. map shown 4:07 timestamp. In coming time you will be one of the top influencer on youtube, so we want you to present correct map of india. thank you.
Govt of India and Kerala.govt.should jointly ensure highspeed railconnectivity for passengers and frieightgoods to Chennai Bengaluru Hyderabad and NorthIndian cities.New MPs of kerala.should.coordinate personally and jointly avoiding political defferences for keralas overall develoments.🎉
The amount abuse we do of our past and ancestors, need to give them the credit that they kept India on the map of sea trade for long and understanding the importance of our long coastal lines and uitizing it for our benefits, but after independence our politicians kept us in a loop that we don't producse anything so significance and therefore should be keep ourself locked and depends on Government for everything
@@siffinmohammed8778 Yup buddy, hate had turned you blind but Gujarat is one of the best place for investments and had great infrastructure and UP came a long way from crime capital state to India's fastest developing state.
Interesting. The sad fact is, that a nexus called the Kochi lobby, which is another city in Kerala that already has a port, tried long to stop the development of this strategically important port. Though the project is visualized as a Mother port, the government tried to keep it as a Minor port. There are incidents where some people tried to stop the construction of the port. I doubt all those were funded by the ones who may lose a big chunk of their income once Vizhinjam starts operating. By the way, you should have mentioned it as Thiruvananthapuram's Vizhinjam Sea Port. Thiruvananthapuram was skipped in the whole video. Thanks.
The planning of ports has been very disorganised in the past with competing local interests. A hub port is a national asset and has to be planned on a national basis with central planning of location and transport links otherwise it will fail. The Kochi DP port has failed as a hub port because of lack of competent planning - the location is too far away from the main shipping lanes and insufficient depth for it to be viable as a container hub port. There was too much local lobbying and interests and the wrong decision was made. Vizhinjam is the correct location and depth to be a world class container hub port. Kochi's DP port was never viable as a container hub port, and should perhaps focus of bulk and general cargo, as these are much less critical on maintaining tight schedules, turnaround times, and accommodating very large ships than container hub ports.
Kochi is the biggest city in kerala. Kochi port already develeped. Cochin shipyard, port, vallarpadam transhipment terminal also there. Vizhinjam is a mother port. It will help to increase businesses in Trivandrum & Kochi. 😊
@@abijackson1000 Wrong bro. Kochi can only be big if it adds surrounding Municipalities to the City corporation. Thiruvananthapuram is the biggest City corporation in Kerala. Anyway, let's not argue about that. Was the development of Vallarpadam as a transhipment terminal worth it? Anyway, the development of Vizhinjam will not only help Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram, but most of Kerala and the southernmost parts of TN will also benefit from that. When it reaches its full potential, the whole nation will benefit from it.
Imagine, we had to wait for ModiJi for such a strategic project to even happen. also remember that commies & christians in kerala are opposed to the port. and sincerelyt hope colombo port goes bankrupt
If we want dominance in Indian Ocean we need all this ports government along can't built all of this ports we need private companies so, stop trash talking about Adani Group it's an Indian company. Leave ur old Socialism nd move toward Capitalism nd Targeted welfarism
Very good video and info. Very good initiative by all concerned who are building Vizhinjam port. I only wish our hardworking and patriotic fishermen were also taken care of. Indian govt, Kerala govt, all political parties refuse to acknowledge their loss and misery. The cost to rehabilitate them is peanuts. Still none of the above entities bother about them. Very unfair and shameful!
very few indians have the ability to raise capital & take risk for enormous projects like adani has.. he is similar to the vanderbilt's & jp morgans etc., who built a lot of the early infrastructure of the usa..
Before uploading any video or photo atleast , see it once , in most of the image and video we can see the map of India , is depicted is wrong which is an offence. ATLEAST SEE BEFORE UPLOAD
Bro, I am joining you in this journey at this initial stage and wholeheartedly wish you to get millions of subs. keep making videos for our beloved nation. See you there when you get your first million subs.
This should be developed as a future extension to the Vizhinjam container port. It is important to reserve land and planning permission for a DFR coridoor to Chennai and also connecting it with Vizhinjam port, and possibly onward to Kochi DP port via existing rail links.
Every patriot India should at least once look at Gall-Peters projection of world🗺️🌍 to understand the real scale & potential of India, Gall-Peters projection or AuthaGraph projection world map should be authorised in our schools!!!
The Vizhinjam Port is not a privately owned port. It is actually a joint venture between the state and central government with the Adani group. The Kerala state government is the largest investor and shareholder, owning approximately 62%, while the central government owns around 20%, and Adani owns 18%.
KPCL (Krishnapatnam port - nellore district, Andhra Pradesh) is the second deepest port which has depth close to 18m. We need to develop this port as transhipment port as well. The only concern is that its not close to international shipping line.
This is pure propaganda. The project and it's strategic potential was recorded in various detailed studies by reputed agencies and verified by many government agencies from 1998 - 2028. No credit goes to this economic plunderer created by modi. What is his contribution? The channel should in all fairness come out with a full story on the basis of the development of this port. Most concerned people are aware, don't fool ordinary citizens with propaganda for modis oligarchy.
I hope RU-vidrs will make an attempt to pronounce Vizhinjam how it is pronounced in Malayalam. Combination of 'zh' is the consonant ഴ in Malayalam there are several RU-vid videos showing how to pronounce this sound. For non-native Malayalam or Tamil speakers, the trick to pronounce ഴ is to try to make the sound 't', instead of moving your tongue forward, roll your tongue up to the roof of your mouth, that will give you the fairly close sound. The brits came and butchered native names of towns for their convenience, like Kollam to Quilon, Kodungalloor to Cranganore, Mumbai to Bombay, etc. Let's not do the same to each other.
Another blunter is that our people don't know to name the port properly. It's so easy to pronounce Trivandrum International Port. Instead look at the pain presenter has to go through spelling Vizhinjam with no much luck.
