I almost feel bad for not catching this video sooner. Dragonball was the very first anime I experienced as a kid, and watching this reminded me of catching it on Toonami on my old box tv when I should've been in bed and scouring the internet for any content I could find. Thank you for the video, keep up the good work :)
I just started watching a couple of your videos starting with your frustration with the Boruto designs, you're thirsting Miguel O'Hara to this. I love how detailed you are and how well minded you are able to articulate art. You are also a tremendous artist and I look forward to seeing more of you. Also you are very beautiful woman but you don't need me to say that. I will say this though. I hope you eventually get to One Piece because that is an actual journey worth checking out. That is worth the content and believe me that fan base as well as the journey surrounding it is incredible. Also I love Fullmetal alchemist as well. I just wanted to say all that. I loved your tribute and I hope to see more of your work.
This is such a beautiful loveletter to old anime, DBZ and Toriyama! Don't know why the algorithm hid this gem, but after coming here from the Sukunella video, this was wonderful and calm video to watch. I'm glad I found your channel! (And I'm excited for the Gojo video haha)
Yo, just found your channel 🙃 I enjoyed your personal story with DBZ and the medium of art. I like how grounded and expressive your words are 🤣 truly a gift👍 You remind me of the character Daria from 'Daria' except lobotomized by anime and fandoms lol😂 keep up the good work 👏 and the cool humor🤡 ....Also nothing tops daddy Future Gohan ❤ that's dragon ball as Toriyama didn't intend 😤
Great video with a great underlying message :D as a musician that also had his own creative ambitions heavily tampered with by uni, I can only relate there Dx You talked mainly about the anime adaptation and I would recommend reading Dragon Ball at some point, because I think there are few manga that can communicate action as clear and dynamic as Toriyama can in the Comic medium :D especially the journey from DB to DBZ (since there is no deviation in the manga) will feel a lot more natural and some writing decisions too (as flawed as the King Piccolo or Buu Arcs are respectfully). His other manga are great too tho, Be it Dr. Slump, Sand Land or the Galactic Patrol series ^^ Thats all and have a nice day! :D
