@@ubm91 so a quick question why does this look so bad? is this the actual game that is not finished or did u mod it all i mean the games at ps 1 and 2 looked way better bro XD
Yes, the original creator did a great job, be sure to check their channel, link in the description. All I did was upscale the video from 1080p to 4k and increase the frames per second :)
The Anime-Style Graphics from Fighterz The transformation animations from Raging Blast Games The senzu bean animation from Burst Limit The Fusion QTE from the Budokai Games The battle system of the Tenkaichi Games The intros of Fighterz And the Destruction of Ultimate Tenkaichi. That is so well combined, my respects to the animator.
And the option to intercept evade or guard the ultimate was also another thing from ultimate tenkaichi I noticed. While ultimate tenkaichi wasn't that great, some of the elements were good concepts for a dragon ball game, and the ones they used from it worked well here. Really seems like a dragon ball fans holy grail of a game if this were real.
Animation, character models, effects like the ki charge and transitons look great, only downside i can think of is the enviroment and the way the ground moved kinda made my head hurt but it looks mostly great
Bro this game literally must be a stolen version u dont look familiar with dbz game to begin with if u think that and 2 this game wont be out for 10 months so just stf...
@@juluisscrimnger9894 I’d be more inclined to say that I think it’d struggle to beat this, but I’m hopeful that they can top the quality of this animation.
Man, this was how I imagined Dragon Ball fights when I was a child in my imagination and also when I played DBZBT3!! Excellent video, I hope the game development leaders are inspired by everything you have contributed here!
This is simply unbelievable and a true masterpiece. The way you mix the best parts of multiple Dragon Ball games, especially the series of Budokai, Budokai Tenkaichi, Raging Blast and FighterZ, giving it new grapichs and designs that look amazing, and finally landing the mark on every single part. Every detail is on the dot, and I have to say, that this is truly what the perfect Dragon Ball game would look like. Fantastic work, huge congratulations, and thank you for this masterpiece ❤👑🐐👏
@@ihavenonamestilldonthaveon8970 See this is why I really don't like people re-uploading videos from other creators, or else people like @nicoesquivel8241 will believe that this animation was made by UBM91, which is not. Also, HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE THAT THIS VIDEO HAS MORE VIEWS THAN THE ACTUAL ORIGINAL ONE??? RU-vid algorithm is honeslty trash
I love the Raging Blast layout with clear Budokai Tenkaichi inspiration for HUD, Ultimate Tenkaichi and Burst Limit for features of reactions to ultimate attacks and cutscenes with a team member throwing a senzu bean your way for example. It's perfect
This looks amazing but honestly in a gameplay aspect it would play slowly cause youd have to wait for all the animations making it not all to fun but it be beautiful to look at
I mean sometimes some beautiful spectacle is all people need, its not like anyones gonna take an arena fighter seriously in any competitive scene anyways, and if people want a focused non stop fast paced action fighting game like Dragon Ball Fighterz then we already have a game like that, its called *_Dragon Ball Fighterz_* Having a casual spectacle fighter that basically amounts to a child slamming his action figures together reenacting scenes from his favorite DBZ movies isn't inherently bad as long as theres enough quality features bundled in the package. Just because Doom Eternal and UltraKill happened doesn't mean hyper fast arena shooters need to replace slower boots-on-the-ground cover shooters and just because Action RPG's like Dark Souls and Kingdom Hearts happened doesn't mean turn-based RPG's are obsolete. Cant believe Im still saying this in 2024 but not everyone has the same definition of fun, you can like slow, you can like fast, you can like BOTH and alternate based on your mood, theres not some unspoken law that correlates enjoyment with tempo.
@@sasaki999pro I enjoy watching the animations of you know. Just getting to do cool stuff like meteor smash. Horn opponent gets to eat a 15 hit cinematic combo. And you feel like your character Has the upper hand in offense. It's like having a bruce faulkner moment where the vegeta vs frieza ost plays and you get a moment of glory
best thing I’ve seen in a while and a whole lot of details. The movement, animations, super attacks, team and transformation mechanics and the selection menu all taken from Raging Blast 2, you even used a different ki charge animation for Gogeta taken from Vegito if im not mistaken. Then the in-game ui and the beam struggle from Tenkaichi 3 and the level up mechanic as well. You even included a reference to Ultimate Tenkaichi at the end when Gogeta launched his super attack at Broly, SO GOOD! You also used the QTE from Budokai for the fusion which was simply great. And did you borrow a chunk of the Ultimate Kamehameha animation from FighterZ or is it just me?
Damn this is pretty good when I first saw the title of the video I was skeptic at first but now after watching it with my own eyes I am truly amazed great work
The guy who made this (from what I heard) actually approached Bandai about this at some point and iirc they actually implemented some of his ideas on some games.
@GojiBoiEarth1964 that's what he was trying to do with this whole project, trying to show the developers, what we the fans want in a game like this. Honestly though, i doubt they will listen. They're too obsessed with making lazy bad games to rake in the cash and don't listen to fan feedback much. I hope I am mistaken though and that sparking comes out great
@@ubm91nah you right they can’t make perfect dbz game because they not gonna have ideas to make a better dbz game after this one, every dbz game has to have a flaw for a fan to dislike so they can get a money grab for the next game
The only thing I dislike about the concept is the amount of characters on screen at once. Not that it's bad but I'd love if there was a way to catagorise them to reduce the amount of small icons on screen, so they can be bigger and easier to see; but that's just a personal nitpick. I still think the choice to have them all on at once like in the video should be a catagory to pick from, I just find it easier to search by saga or series (eg. db, dbz, dbs, dbgt, movies, etc..)
@@micromania6170 That's why it's an optional choice. Like organising characters by role (main characters > villians), by letter or by Saga. You get a choice to pick which feels best for you. If you don't like it by Saga, than by role would probably be best since it's what Xenoverse 2 currently uses. ^^
This is my first comment in a youtube, instagram, or other social sites in over 15 years. Just one work AWESOME. That is the way a next gen game should be supposed to be
I've seen rotoscoping from real life footage, and from other animations, but I've never seen rotoscoping from gameplay before. I can see this as an excellent proof of concept for a legitimate project. To offer some constructive criticism from a man nowhere near talented enough to do this: I would've modded the stage with more anime-accurate textures to avoid the weird shifting effect seen in this video, and superimposed the character animation on top of it. Maybe also modding out aura effects (simple enough to replicate) so they don't bleed over the edges of the animation. And don't think I didn't notice you blending gameplay from Raging Blast, FighterZ, and Ultimate Tenkaichi! Smoothly done!
Sadly this type of game with visuals like this might not happen so soon. Give it a few more years. Game dev ain't this easy, and it won't get any easier
@@IANDURBECKThe graphics and overall visuals aren't the problem here. The main problem is actually turning this into a playable game, separating each character from each saga (since every character becomes stronger with every new arc), creating all these fusions and every attack they'd have and most importantly, making this more than just a cutscene. Could you actually imagine having to sit through this many cutscenes every time someone landed an attack? Shit'd get stale way too fast.
@@shamilama6074 Although FighterZ is an amazing game with excellent graphics and 2.5D effects, it's quite different from what we witnessed in this video. The video seems to be a blend of Raging Blast, Ultimate Tenkaichi, and other games sharing FighterZ's style but represented in a 3D environment.
BRO. FOR A MOCK-UP. This is BEAUTIFUL. I definitely see how Bandai will try add in the elements of Super into the raging blast games specifically suited to Z’s nature, surely they will deliver. For now, we get to enjoy this masterpiece. You’ve gained a subscriber
We have stumble across something truly magnificent,, it’s astounding..look at that beautiful gameplay, the smooth attacks, this is no doubt with all its majesty ,, a wonderfully well made game!!
The low frame rates are actually because the creator had to draw every single frame. So no, not made in flash. Also not intended to be how the game plays. You try and draw a whole fight like that by hand. Hundreds of thousands of frames. Not fun. Fun fact. The frames are double what they are in the original video because not only did I upscale it to 4k, but also doubled the framerate. It used to be worse. This is just a mockup to show gaming companies how we want our games to play and look. The framerate should always be at least 60fps in my opinion. But I'm as sure as heck not drawing that.
I know right!? This is what every DBZ game should have been from the start. Only the fans know what is best for DBZ, not greedy CEOs who only create things to make a profit. Took this dude 7 years to make this animation, imagine if a studio actually listened to the fans and spent the same amount of time doing a game? We'd already have everything we wanted. Its a tough act to follow and I don't think that Sparking Zero will come anywhere near to close to this.
A lot of you guys have some strange obsession with things looking straight out of the anime. That 2d look isn't as seemless. To me, it translates like a paper fight. It looks very 90's.
thats an masterpiece im so amazed from the fact you drew all of that, and im happy that you used dbz broly here it just feels nice beacuse i dont think a lot of people think of this broly 10 senzu beans out of 10 senzu beans
I wasn't the one who drew it, I only interpolated and upscaled the video. If you wanna see the original creator refer to my description on this video. Thanks for watching :)
Bro Fusioned Tenkaichi 3 raging blast 2 burst limit legends budokai fighterz and ultimate tenkaichi animations and characteristics in one game Why the hell ain't he workin in bandai?
the DBRB3 project was a big fan whishlist and suggestion made by Treevax which started in 2010. He had the attention of Bandai once (before ultimatel tenkaichi) and this is an animation he hand drew during the past 7 years to showcase every mechanic he wanted in action
Sparking Zero seems to be looking even better than this animation. Dont get me wrong, the animation looks great, but Sparking Zero looks to be on a whole other level thus far.
Bro we wished all anime fighters to look like a real anime, and goddamnit Sparking Zero did not dissapoint really the game it self is real work of art.
