Lady Mandisa I fell in love with you form the 1st time I heard your voice on American Idol.( Completely ignoring that dumb remark by simon.) Your Christian spirit just flew out of you and into many of our hearts. You are a beautiful messenger of god and I admire you for your strength and courage. Your song "Stronger" was the main song that brought me to Jesus, and It has changed mine & my wife's life ever since. You have been a blessed inspiration to my life. Whenever things go bad, My prayers to Jesus and a song of your angelic voice picks me right up..I have never had the opportunity to see you live but maybe someday god will make that possible. If you ever make it to phoenix. I hardly ever cried but your songs brought tears of joy to my heart. "I am an overcomer" May god continue to bless you with all you deserve.

Simon is so rude and lacks any human feeling. So many struggle with their weight and you have no idea why or what happened in their lives. His comment to her could have triggered or caused even more emotional issues. I am glad Mandisa saw beyond her struggles. I hope she continues to fight those demons with success.

As someone who was sexually abused, I know exactly what Mandisa is talking about. I isolated myself, turned to food, and did without makeup or other attractive things because it kept men AND women away. I didn't trust anyone because of what my mom's bf did and how my mom coldly brushed it off. Later, I realized how self- harming that was, and that I was now abusing myself. I've lost 25 pounds, and I'm still going. God bless Mandisa and her story. Keep the faith! :)

Mandisa I'm so sorry that bad things happen to you. You had a rough life when you were younger. But now you have became a new person. You probably didn't know jesus b4 but once you got saved u r a new person.And if you did know him at age 16 and youger u probably said " Why did this happen to me?" But he had a plan he guided u thru it. U had tough times but u have to forget about the past,the bad moments in live. It was probabaly hard to tell people aboit what happen but u did it u can face yoir feats and im proid of u 4 that.foget the past bcuz u r a new person and u love GOD so just keep doing what ur doing.GOD BLESS U!!! When Simon humiliated you, as the Scripture tells us, "But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.' (Gen 50:20 KJV ) as the Lord uses your music to minister to many individuals in the world & bring them to Jesus our Saviour, King of kings and Lord or lords.
