Don't need to buy expensive cosmetics. Most less expensive makeup is relabeled by the "high end" companies. You did a great job on the finished look. Feels good for you to get out and about!

Some of us have used cosmetics and skin care products from dollar stores for decades. My Mom (I'm 70) and I have worn Wet 'n Wild since the early 1980s. Because most of the products are just like the higher end ones, I've never had any problems. You pay extra for packaging and marketing. I used to buy like this because it's what I could afford. I still do, because I just love them.

It's been ages since I last checked in with any of my lovely "mature" ladies of RU-vid and I'd forgotten just how stunning you are! The makeup you found turned out beautifully, especially since you'd never worked with any of it before. I hope the new year is finding you and Moosie in good spirits and the best possible health! I've really been slacking with skincare, makeup and self-pampering the last couple of years. I just haven't been able to motivate myself due to some long-time health issues that flared up more than I'd anticipated. So glad to see this video today. You look marvelous after using the Dollar Tree makeup. You'll need to let us know how long lasting it was. I use both high end and drug store makeup with good results. Have to admit, some of the drug store make up have really upped their game and it's hard to tell the difference, except for the price.
