Is the Slingerbag for advanced players? Here is how I use the Slingerbag as a 4.5 player. Ill share the settings down below that I have it set too
I also believe that practicing the basics is incredibly important, that's why I am focusing on "easy" drills.
Settings:
Speed: 2nd notch
Feed Rate: 2nd Notch
Angle: 15 degrees

Is the slinger bag TSA approved to take with you for your tournaments?

@@pruthvimeka3259 i dont know if its TSA approved. You for sure would have to pay for it to be checked under the plane, you cant bring it as carry on. I personally would not want to do that for the risk it could be damaged.

For the ball to not get stuck I applied the "Professional-Grade Moldable Plastic Pellets by Polly Plastics" from amazon. I applied it on that panel in a slopy mold and glued it. To fix the issue of the ball not feeding I molded more of that noted mold and shaped the mold so that the crosswise shaft is further raised up a bit more than an inch and glued it on. On the dial section for adjusting the ball height from the luanch pad I appied a white "Fine Paint Marker for Rock Painting-Stone, Ceramic, Metal, Glass, Wood,Set of 6 Paint Pens High Volume Ink High Volume Ink for DIY Craft" from Amazon. I applied it on the black line marker for better visibility even from a distance. On the opening of the bag from the top entrance to place the racket I placed an elastic fiber string crosswise (made two a heated metal hole on both sides) and that is where I hang my towel. There's more but this is enough for now. Thanks for letting me share.

Backhand looks quite consistent, forehand probably spraying when pushing the aggression like that.

Thanks! Yeah I’m pretty happy with my back hand, but it’s still my “assist” shot. I don’t hit slot of winners from that side but it sets up and easier forehand winner or volley. So i do try to be more aggressive on my forehand side.

Try to shorten your forehand backswing. Modern forehand technique uses a more compact backswing.

Great review! I’m really excited about this product. My primary goal is to be able to hit a proper ATP forehand and I feel like the only way to do that is to slow things down not speed things up. The Slinger was never about shooting 80 mph balls at you like some of the naysayers talk about, but rather mimicking what a tennis pro would do which is feeding you consistent balls so you can perfect your strokes. I think if I can lock in the muscle memory of not looking at where the opposing player is on the other side of the net, but rather where I want the ball to go than I can dramatically change my game. I also enjoyed your child running across the court lol. Cheers.

I ordered my Slingerbag yesterday (grand slam package with oscillator and 144 wilson triniti balls). There's a 4 week backorder so i'll be anxiously waiting while doing backboard drills and hunting balls i knock over the wall. Looks like Jr. enjoys himself on the court. If he starts this early, he may become the next Pete Sampres.

Nice!! Tell me how you like the oscillator, i did not get one. When i got mine there was a super long back order as well, but it came early and customer support was incredible with helping me track it haha. Yeah my son had his first tennis lesson last week, I’m hoping he falls in love with the sport like i did!

Great video dude! - How does the feed speed feels for you. It's seems hell slow compared to the others on the market. It's perfect for me however as said, the feed speed is holding me back

hi Rick, thanks for the feedback! And I have not had any issues with how fast the balls come out. I normally do not have it past halfway. This is a unique issue. What sort of drills are you doing that you want the balls to be coming out so quickly?

@@natestenniscomeback1486 I mainly ground stroke. I want that was pace ball feeling. Parituclarly as a more advanced player. A want a fast pace ball that mimics how an advanced player would hit ground strokes at me if you get what I mean Would appreciate you opinion

@@sexyminh hmm i just want to make sure I am understanding your question. Are you having problems with how fast the ball comes at you? You would like to have the ball have a higher miles per hour? Or are you wanting the ball to come out of the machine at a higher frequency? For instance: 3 balls per second vs 1 ball per second sort of thing?

@@natestenniscomeback1486 hahaha. Sorry for the confusion. Yeah I want it to come out faster. Increase in miles. I feel it comes out too slow. Your thoughts? Is speed important for a ball machine. I'm new to them in all honesty. But being an advanced player I kind of feel the ball should shoot out of the machine fast to me so it mimics the speed of how the opposition would hit at me Opinion?

@@sexyminh ah ok cool! So yes it does not shoot the ball as fast as other machines. That being said, the amount of spin it puts on the ball i think DOES replicate high level play. As a 4.5 NTRP, 8.17 UTR i think the best way to use the ball machine to improve is focus on very specific aspects of your technique and consistency. The BEST way to get better against guys who hit the ball really hard, is to play against guys who hit the ball really hard hahaha. There is no substitute for that. you will not be able to replicate the reaction time needed with ANY ball machine. But you CAN improve on your technique, and work specific patterns that come up every time you play a high level player. I will be posting a video tomorrow (hopefully) that shows this. Let me know if I answered your question haha

Avoiding hitting the kid gives it another level of difficulty🙂🙂 thanks for the video. Will try those drills as soon as I buy new balls for my machine. I currently have to different pressures on my balls and it's quite annoying.

I have a crazy home made set up beCause I’m too cheap to buy the nice camera fence mounts. I take a UBeesize tripod, tape it with electrical tape to a stick, i screw a hook to the end of it, and i hang it on the top of the fence 😂😂😂😂😂

So the point in trying to make is just setting up the ball machine and hitting balls will not make you better. You need to have a specific focus of what you are trying to improve. I mention the 3 things i am focusing on this drill. Hope that helps clarify
