In 2019, RU-vid engineer Simone Giertz created the first Tesla pickup truck. With the help of her friends, Simone transformed a Model 3 into a fully-functioning pickup she calls the Truckla. We caught up with her to learn why and how she did it, and if she actually uses it.

Common Tesla pickup truck . F350 comparison I love my 4 door full size pickup truck I have a camper shell but be better access to tools on the outside somehow. Something that can tow and don’t look flashy and stupid . Something that can take a beating .

Couldn’t you have just attached a trailer hitch instead. Then you still have the option for rear seats. Also, how is going to get insurance. It’s going to be expensive since you have significant modified you vehicle. Likely, insurance will group the car as a rebuild title with higher premium.
