Im proud to be a descendant of the greatest native american tribes. The natives of Mesoamerica. My family is from CDMX Mexico City 🇲🇽 and Cuentepec, Morelos. Unlike most Mexicans my family hasnt mixed much. Working in the medical field here in the U.S i always get mistaken for being Asian 😅 by other Asians.
Will modern man be open to the priceless value of lessons learned throughout history, or must we make mistakes that are detrimental to the survival of all life?
I recently watch another history video on that subject, it seems as though there was already established groups in America by the time of the TransSiberian crossing. It's expected that those groups got here via coastal travel.
This is about the Clovis people but they were not the first here. All humanity alive today Including native Indians are all the same species. There were two other species found in the Americas. And like what happened everywhere else where we go other human species died out ( for a number of reasons). This is a great series on the cultures found in Americas though.
I would also like to add there has been skeleton found that suggest that the original inhabitants before the 'native Americans' were kill off by the 'native Americans'.
It is VERY important to note; speciation is a very gradual process, from having distinct features that show up clearly in bones (Neadethals short legs for example) then eventually growing to fully distinct species, something that did not happen for the majority of human species from the last ice age as neanderthals, devorian, and cro-magnon where all capable of producing firtile offspring. Rather, one could argure the last ice age was the last time Humans had diffrent *races* or breeds. that said; in general the largest intrest for historians in this context is the *lasting* community and there is not a lot of intrests in possible early migrations since they really do not contribute significatly to the genetic pool, and clovis tools defenitly took over. Although possible early migrations may have paved the way for later more successful migrations, such evidince has not been found, nor evidince for any real clashing of culture when clovis people first came over. Likely the migrations where too small to ever take a strong stable root; as there is not a doubt that all humans have just incredible wonder lust, the idea of some making it to the americas as soon as the capacity to come exsited seems almost inevitable, but evidince for that is slim, but not zero.
Our Ancient Americans used their environment. They used what God put on this earth for them to survive . Just like he still does. In todays world instead of using all resources That has been given we seem to destroy more than we use. Of coursè this is just my opinion.
i was born in El Paso , they had just built a wash system to catch monsoon rain , when it worked perfectly a weather man from a network i will not name made a remark that seemed racist or class driven bigotry , just because the water was shooting up out of a channel as it was supposed to , funny thing is that his house flooded the next day in the North East where all the "educated " live and work . well needless to say he is not my favorite weather man anymore .
My family and I used to spend 3 months a year (summer) backpacking around the boundary waters of Canada. Worst part was a 5 mile portage over rough ground. But once that portage was done it was all fun and games. Until chipmunks get into ur food sacks.

This has been my favorite history channel of the past following and know you are spreading a meaningful message to the world. 🤍 You probably don't know how unfortunately rare it is to receive true, respectable information about the original history and culture of what the natives have brought here since the beginning. Actually Indians were not the 1st peoples. Aborigines came 1st. A lot of Indians are told they are Sub-saharan Africa when they know they are Indian. In fact only people who migrated from Asia are considered Native Americans when they is evidence that lots of other ethnic groups were her before they crossed The barron straight.

No. It is because Europans put emphisis on the Iron Age of western civilization as if it ment they where *more* advanced, rather then *diffrently* advanced. And pre-columbian Americans where *diffrently* advanced not less. In more detial, why would they have pursued iron or copper? they had the material they knew of it how to work it, all stone aged people did before the major migration. But why chase it? In America in particular raw, metallic iron deposits get exposed, metorite can be found, raw copper veins used to line caves free for the taking... and All that iron is usually far worse then stone tools. Same with copper. And they had woods that where so strong they where unriveled, ligum vite and other iron-woods. Woods that dont rot, woods as strong as wrought iron. No, to advance in metallurgy there had to be a reason, and a big one. Because humans (in large quanities) came after any possiblely largely useful pack animals to tame went extinct. It would have to be known that steel was good to pursue smelting it. So they pursed wood. Forestry, agriculture and advancents in personal travel and trade, mathmatics, writting (that the Spanish largely destroyed leaving us with no real understandings) etc
This video is a huge historical lie. When the Europeans arrived the natives had not yet discovered the wheel, They had no written language, no concept of mathematics, still used stone tools, had no permanent settlements nor did they leave behind structures ( the natives even said that they did no know who built the zigurats and stone monuments.
We were craftsman, bead-workers, warriors, dancers, musicians, some recounted histories and information with painting and almost all tribes engaged in storytelling. Though we did not have as complex tools and creations compared to the Europeans, we were and are capable of much complexity and subtlety that has unfortunately passed out of common knowledge. Storytelling and an accurate memory was and is very important to at least the Comanche tribe, the tribe I and my family are a part of and are descended from. It is amazing to see an elder tell a long, detailed, and accurate account of events without even needing a quill.
Lol are you generalizing a group that spanned over two continents? Permanent settlements and more modernized tools existed in some tribes, while others didn't, because they are not a monolithic race. That would be like comparing a French person to an Italian all because they're both white.
Even if you only take into consideration the accounts of Europeans, the earliest European explorers wrote back home stating that they DID see permanent settlements (as well as semi-nomadic peoples - mostly in the Great Plains region), large structures, complex trade networks, farming, numerous different cultures, advanced knowledge of botany, hunting, boating, clothing, and in the case of the Mayans and others, astronomy and extensive written language. (Remember though that writing is not the mark of civilization. Most cultures, even the ones you might think of as "advanced" did not (and may still not) have a writing system, and literacy was extremely low among Europeans and their diaspora until just the last couple hundred years.)
But for a long time, and even now (see many other comments here), history books have discredited and denied there being civilizations in the Americas before Europeans arrived. That's what this video is addressing.
