Hi thank you so much for watching❤. No I didn't go to school for it. Training is provided by the firm while you work, until you get your qualification. They will guide you through everything while you work.

Hey there, thanks for the informative vid, what is your commission split?
@bynandimu

@angelfishanime4752
@angelfishanime4752 3 года назад
This is a great video. If you dont mind I have 2 questions. First how does commission work and also how much do you make.?
@bynandimu
@bynandimu 3 года назад
Firstly thank you for watching. Commission splits depend on the agency you are with and the qualifications you have. We charge a commission of 7% of the selling price of a property. Since I am still an intern I get 50%. That will change once I have completed my NQF qualification.

Yes you can, but I think it works best if you are working in a new development as you don't really need to move around as much. Or if you are working in the the city like PTA CBD cos Uber and public transport make it easy to move around.

can you become a real estate agent with a psychology degree? And is it possible to become a psychologist and a real estate agent ?
@bynandimu
@bynandimu 3 года назад
Hi Lilitha. Yes you can become a Real Estate agent, you dont really need a degree to become an agent, you get taught everything as you work, you will get extensive training on the job depending on which agency you choose to join. I once thought I could do it part time but then realized that when I have good listings it becomes impossible to do it part time.
