Actually there are clients like you who prefer to just view the property on their own and there are those who perhaps want to be toured around. I'm in the business and I tell you, at the end of the day the property sells it self unless you are in the market looking for something to flip then some agents can help you by giving you ideas on what you can do with the property. What I do most of the time is just talk a bit about the property, just give the basics and the try to follow them from behind and if they have any questions then I'm there to answer it for them.

I would say SAVE money first! I know that sucks but my husband and I had $10,000 saved when he decided to get his license and with all the monthly expenses and realtor fees on top of that we ended up going broke. We were down to our last five dollars in our account. It was a very difficult time so much stress and so many tears. And then he finally closed his first deal six months later and that saved our butts!! … 2 years later now, I have been so inspired by him and now I’m going to get licensed soon! Really estate changed our life for sure!

Don't do it. Especially in California. I'm an agent here in San Diego and there are way too many agents and not enough homes. Overvaluing Real Estate is not a victimless crime. It’s the same level of crime as Sam Bankman Fried with his Crypto Exchange failing. Duping a buyer into an overvalued house is a crime. Dont do it. Its like saying you want to be a surgeon part time. You have been told. Real estate is a full time job and unless you are any good, you will make fuck all money. 80% make no money at all and live off unemployment.

I can totally understand the feeling and necessity to be able to support yourself. That being said, real estate especially in the beginning - needs your full attention. You’re building a business! You need to give it 110%. I would recommend staying with your 9-5, save as much as you can (at least a years worth of living expenses) and when you’re ready, cut ties. You need to believe in yourself!

Unfortunately real estate is not a at home career - you spend a majority of your time out in the field! If you’re looking to stay home, I’d recommend reaching out to brokerages or high producing agents who are in need of a virtual assistant.

I hear everywhere that agents don’t use anything they learn from the real estate school in order to get their license. What about the Professional Code of Ethics? What about Finance? What about violating the real estate law? What about the vocabulary, arithmetics, and general information about real estate? Does that mean agents disregard all of these when they become agents? That seems shiesty and untrue. Wouldn’t new agents be going into the industry completely blind if they didn’t retain any of the required knowledge? Wouldn’t that mean agents aren’t following the Professional Code of Ethics? Can you do a video explaining this? I think it perpetuates dishonesty in the industry by informing everyone they don’t use anything they learned in real estate school.

Please don't. We already have too many real estate agents and not enough homes on the market. You do not want to get onto it right now in this current market. Too much competition on trying to get offers accepted. Too many buyers getting discouraged. You will not make much money. It's hard to get an offer accepted anymore. Good luck trying to be a listing agent as a brand new agent in this market. Do something else because you will rip your hair out being an agent right now. Buyers constantly ignoring you and wasting your gas money and time. Not even saying thank you. Buyers not listening to your advice and thinking they know everything when they don't. Buyers spending countless months with you to only go with another agent regardless of the efforts you put in. This career makes you feel worthless and like a shitbag. Don't do it.

Hello Chloe: Just want to give you some feedback. Your AUDIO is terrible. You sound like you are speaking through a pipe that is underwater. It really detracts from all your GOOD content and USEFUL advice that you give. I would advise a small lapel mike ($30-$59, Sony, Audio Tech., etc) that would make your pitch really shine. I couldn't get through your entire video because of these audio issues. I have seen thousands of presentations (live and online, Zoom, etc.). And sometimes there are excellent speakers / presenters that almost totally wreck their work with poor audio. I will try again to listen to the rest of your video after I take your audio track and filter / process it to make it listenable. Keep it going. Just fix your audio. You will see the difference.

I work 50 hrs a week at a shop job busting my damn ass and I spend all my money on rent and food. I put a little bit aside but I’ll never see 16k aside. I just won’t. How do I go about this business if I don’t think I’d be possibly able to pay for all these things. I can get my license an all the afford that but when it comes to other things. I really need some help and any answer would honestly be so appreciated. If I don’t take a risk. I’m going to be working this 9-5 my whole life I can’t accept that it’s like just taking a L and being like alright that’s fine. I can’t.
