Wow! Thanks! You’re right! Most ppl do make mistakes there at the speaker hook up! I thought +Slave to -Master together. Then -Slave to -Speaker and +Master, you get it lol.

I have 2 2ohm leads, I ran an IA 8K at 1ohm and within my box rise (1ohm to just over 3) I was clamping just about 6500. I switched to 2 IA 4K's strapped at 1ohm and am getting close to 9500. With my configuration strapping worked better.

I got 2 PSI 2500s strapped pushing 2 x15 sundowns. It ain’t hard to do once you understand your ohm loads n stuff. So I got 2 dual 2 ohm sundown x15s. Finally load ohm is 2 ohm but since they’re strapped amps, it drops an ohm. Negative to negatives. Then your master amps positives go to positives on sub terminals and on the slave amp, run those positives to your negatives on speaker terminals. It’s not to confusing lol

Curious question. When strapped how do you adjust phase when the slave and master have become one? 🤔. I was strapped with two ampere 9.0s for about 6 months. Now I'm gain matched with a full db gain and way more efficiency. My best advice from my experience would be to gain match. Plus usually when strapped one amp goes more than likely both will go. Tuning correctly with an oscilloscope will definitely answer the difference between strapped and gain matched configurations. You rock brotha. SplFreakz!

I like your channel you are very knowledgeable and keep me informed but now I have a configuration that needs to be worked out I have 6 15's dual 2 ohms audiopipe quad stacks and 2 nemesis 8K amps what would be the best way to wire this setup?

Now I understand the final load will be cut in half. Now let's say in my situation I have 2 salt 6s with subs wired down to 1. I can strap them down to 1(salt can handle half ohm). Will they put out power like half ohm?

Hey curious, what do you mean with a 1ohm stable? What if the ohm output is 8 ohm? How would I manage to set this up?

What do you think of Rockford Fosgate and Skar audio? I’m not trying to be LOUD!!! Dgmw I want it loud’ish but more sounding good and clean with loud(ish) mids, highs and a little bit of sub. Like a couple under seat 10’s (which I’m currently running one and it’s nearly perfect. Sounds GREAT!) and some good mids and highs. Currently running a cheap aftermarket $200 Amazon head unit on stock speakers. That sounds like complete garbage! Especially when I turn off the sub, I can’t even listen to it, it sounds so awful! But I recently ordered 4 Rockford 6x8 speakers for my doors P1683’s and a Skar 500.4 A/B to replace the stock speakers. Any advice on how to hook that up? Just RCA from HU then speaker out to speakers? Like regular? Or are there any tricks to make it sound better/louder?

What can I do with two dual 1ohm subs? I screwed myself because I planned on running one amp but I already have one skar rp4500 and it would be cheaper to buy a second one instead of one 8-10k amp. Could I wire each sub to 2 ohms to each individually and still strap the amps together or do the speaker wires have to go to both amps?

Just want say that I've been watching your videos for a good minute now and have gotten a lot of good advice. My question is... I'm running a 15" audiopipe txx-bdc4 dual voice 2 ohm wired down to 1 ohm being pushed by an apcle1800.1d. I'm wanting to add another 15 txx-bdc4 as well as another apcle1800.1d. Do I wire each sub in series making them 4 ohms each then in parallel to Amp for 2ohm load? At 1 ohm my amp puts out roughly 1740 watts rms. Another cool video, (0.3 ohms ) is close to a dead short lol, throughing hella power out, I run two gz hydrogen 12lvs, there 1500,rms each, behind those is a sounddigital evo 8k, wired up to 4ohms, on the dual 1ohm coils, the amp is pushing, right around 4,400 4,500, rms , for headroom, and increased damping, but if I ever wanna add two more 12lvs ,I won't have to replace the sd,which probably will happen, love the show next level, thumbs 👍, basshead life!!!

I have 2 massive 6k(3krms) that I will be bridging for 2 zv5 18s I have a xs power d3400 for the back and a d3100 on the way fort under the hood but it won’t make it before my build is done I also have a 300amp alt on the way they won’t arrive for a month, can I run my system safely while waiting for the parts?

Another lesson 👍 I'm in South Texas. It's in the high 99's. I have nice polarized tint that's dark. It's not limo but it's dark. Anyway I have some stuff in the hatch couple amps battery 12 . How would you suggest to keep it cool back there. I have to have the deck on or everything gets hot just sitting. I have the topical computer style fan right on close to the amps. DS18 4ch and a Sundown mono amp for the Sundown 12" sa Classic. I don't want to burn anything up. Plus I don't like having to listen to the radio at low volume.

So question about stepping abd I hope I can describe it best. If I had 2 1000 watt rms mono bock rms amps at 1 ohm and I strap them the load from speakers is 2 ohms. So would the strapped amps be putting out at the 2 ohm rms rating or would they putting out at 2000 watt rms of 1 ohms? I hope question makes sense

Hi! I have a weird scenario...so I already have a JP23 that goes to a dvc2ohm sundown x...i want to add a second subwoofer. Can I buy another JP23 and use it on the second sub? This would cost me half the price of buying a complete new single amp. How would the volume knobs sync both amps together. Or will this not work? I would use positive and negative from each amp to their own subwoofer. and use the master slave link to connect the 2 amps. Thanks

So…. If I’m running 2 subs (with 2 of the same amp) & 2 - 2 channel amps, bridged @ 4 ohms then I could wire it the exact same way but have 2 leads from the hot speaker terminal & 2 leads from the ground speaker with one going to each speaker…. Right? Does that make sense? I would still have a 4 ohm bridged load right? RIGHT?! Lol I’m fckn losing it.

Wait! What! I have everything like u say except for speaker out!!! I just have my sub wired to the slave amp!!!!! Not even in the Manuel for my amps does it say this!!! I've got a CES 270amp alt, 80ah lto dual +- from alt to lto. Should I strap these amps or run one per coil? if I strap is it for a half ohm final or quarter ohm final?

Question for all. Just got a new head unit for my truck. Tuned my amps and my subs dont sound like they did nor are they moving like they were. Now the only thing different now is the radio which has a pre amp output way higher than the last one which is the whole reason I got it and my amp has 2 rca ports a “R” and “L” and my head unit had 1. Could that be the issue? Any ideas?

I got a question. Nothing to do with straping. Im running a single 4ch amp. Ch 1&2 to a 4ohm 6.5" componet set in my door. 3&4 bridged to a single 4ohm svc 12. Amp is rated to 4ohm bridged. As i turn the volume up the amps quits playing.sometimes it comes back, most times i have to turn it down to get it to play again. Its not going into protect,if it is the light is not coming on. The headunit is a sony. When the amp quits playing,the rear speakers that still run off the headunit keep playing. 6ga power/ground cables and the ground is bolted to the trucks frame.took the spot down to bare metal before connecting the ground. What else could the problem be? Its a jensen 600watt 4ch amp,jensen 4ohm 12 and orion componet set. My son has the same amp and sub in his car. I hooked it up the same way mine is and his runs perfect.

Man I gotta tell you something. I put an amp in my friends car a week ago. Just a junk one. It was running the doors. He went to pick his girl up before we even put the subs back in, and as soon as she got into the car the amp blew up. She was talking on her phone when she got In and started the car. The hands free took over immediately and started playing the phone through the speakers. Well her iPhone was all the way up for calls and it blew the amp immediately. Im telling yall this as a precaution and because I just can't believe that shit is even possible. Why the fuck wouldn't they make it so that doesn't happen with stock radios. I had the gains and frequency set perfectly too. The phone takes all control of the radio as soon as you get in and start the vehicle. This is so stupid it pisses me off lol

Just don't.. don't strap. Use 1 Amp for 1 coil on each sub. And the other Amp for the other coil on each sub.
