I remember my dad saying that he was reading through some forums and somebody pointed out that a lot of the drama that began to surround AB started to appear after Dan Rooney passed away in 2017. Prior to that, the incidents he was involved in were very minor, so it is possible that Dan knew how to keep Brown under control. It's also worth mentioning that past teammates, Ryan Clark in particular, have stated that Brown has always had this massive ego.

I'm glad you pointed out the CTE thing. It is very interesting as a Cubs fan who observed how Sammy Sosa's personality and all the major other issues that started to plague him all seemed to follow shortly after taking a massive head shot pitch that shattered his helmet. Ever since that day he never seemed to be the same. Now again, it's not taken away his steroid use and that kind of crap I'm just saying his behavior his attitude in front of the camera and around players, etc. I truly believe there is something to be said about behavior and post-concussion.

I’m glad you at least brought his concussion up even if you mostly discounted it, but mainstream the media sure as hell don’t. Cause nobody talks about how drastically this man’s behavior changed after taking that insane, and dirty as hell helmet to helmet hit vs the bengals that knocked him out cold on the field. Like AB wasn’t always like this!!! I truly believe this man is suffering CTE, I just hope he gets the help he needs.
