@@drunken4457lol they are not easy for most despite any guidance...hahaha there's a reason 90% of the player base does ZERO end game content. Your comment is pretty elitist
@@stevegaspar I didn't mean that way at all and the dude knows. If you need help with GM's tho I'd gladly lend a hand, slide me your Bungie name I'll send a friend request I'm free everyday before 4pm EST
The power creep that prismatic is so real. A lot of these GMs you just fly through. This one for some reason seemed especially crazy to me. I always remember having to play carefully, people not paying attention standing on the Warsat getting blown up and so on and so forth. First try, two randoms with no mics… 9 min or so clear. No cheeses and people just standing on the plate the whole time to make it go as fast as possible. The second area with the tight room where a lot of times people go and hide in the corridor to the side… just felt like it was instantly cleared out. So on and so forth. Felt like a friggin public event or something.
I've always done gm's with no mics. Most gm's this season will be very east, but yhw new strike looks like it's gonna be difficult when it's in rotation.
While power creep is definitely part of it, I think older content is just not holding up. Probably due to the natural evolution/growth of the game as a whole.
for people playing with randos who aren't in the know, in the boss room u can hug the far right, theres these little popups that give way more cover, including from the adds and snipers
Why do people complain about easy GM's? Destiny player are wild. Having the ability to farm something fast is ALWAYS good. No exceptions. If you really hate yourself play Elden Ring fists only.
Truth, think I made it 2 out of 10 last night. They all wanted to stand on the warsat and continually advance it instead of clearing ads one wave at a time. I kept trying to tell them there is no timer and to advance one wave at a time and it is much easier...
It's crazy how even just duos can cook this GM. Dropped a 4/5 on my first run this time with disorienting, envious, and incandescent. In a duo we were dropping sub 15 minute runs with no deaths.
dragons breathe and the new solar rocket side arm + new artifact that increases ignition damage/radius = easy bake oven also equip the new scavenger mod artifact an solar scav. for ammo upkeep
Run song of flame with this and it’s over ignitions go crazy. I’ve killed the boss with just 2 rockets and the super before it runs out makes a very safe option to run that will delete everything.
The GL is legit good if you get a good roll. There's bad ones. But if you can get reconstruction and one for all or incan in the second is a good GL. If you get Spiked and Disorienting to switch between? It's probably the best energy GL in the game.
Love your videos bro, very clear explanations and everything done with weapons anyone can get. You really helped me through a lot of content I otherwise never would have done (Pantheon & Solo dungeons) I know you’re a Hunter main but I would love to see these videos for Titans as well. Is that something you will do in the future again?
Seen a build on aztecross build battles with a stag warlock and the warlocks class specific sword and omfg it was stupidly easy to complete. Never really fired a bullet and i never broke sweat while killing the most adds. You need to try it man
Riskrunner on this gm makes is so cakes. especially if you can proc some form of healing (orbs, devour, whatever else) you’re basically invincible outside of the enemies with the solar shotguns.
idk what it was, the build, good team mates or if the GM was really easy. Thank you for the build Mactics! Got my clear and it did not feel like a burden.
I like your videos & the strategies that you show us on how to best approach the activities. However,I don't feel like your artifact mod selections were optimal. I'd change a couple of em unless I thought I might want to swap my special weapon to the energy slot during the run.
Hey Mactics- can you do a video on how OP prismatic is compared to the old regular game? I don’t have final shape and I do strike runs. The randos I get have prismatic and I find it very very hard to get a kill when playing with someone who has final shape. Also it takes a long long time for me to rank up my power as I all have to do it is the one or two pinnacles and all the older content.
How? You make this look so easy. I have yet to go through on normal in 10 minutes for this weeks nightfall I think the fastest has been about 12 and not a single group I have been with can make it past the first area in a gm, I am usually the last man standing. It makes no sense that you appear to get hit multiple times yet if we get touched we die and yes I had 3 arc resist and 100 resil.
BAK-RISK !! Return of the Mask Lightshift dodging into Ergo Sum Arc Conductor. Nothing more satisfying than dodging an enemy, dropping a clone, swinging back, destroy everything. Subclass: Prismatic Exotic Armor: Mask of Bakris Aspects/ Fragments: Silence and Squall - 1-off, add clear, slow, freezes Marksman’s Dodge - shorter cool down, reloads before swapping to Ergo Withering Blade - x2, slows, freezes - Overload, Unstoppable Arcbolt - Arc ability for Amplified, jolt - Overload Threaded Specter - distraction, threadings Winter’s Shroud - slow, class ability cooldown off slow Facet of Protection - resistance Facet of Ruin - 10 mobility, hailfire spike Facet of Dominance - jolt Facet of Courage - 10 discipline, increased damage Facet of Purpose - frost armor Facet of Awakening - 10 resilience, iconic traces Exotic Weapons: Ergo Sum / Arc Conductor - I use a vortex frame, pick for place style, arc damage resist The third person perspective as you lightshift, swing in, and arc conduct killing every red bar is too satisfying. Primary - Disparity or Blood Feud for Anti-Barrier Heavy - any arc or stasis heavy, play surge or preference Armor Mods: Prioritize Mobility, Resilience, and Discipline. Triple 100s if doable (40% class, 30% damage res, :52 base arc bolt) Helmet - Harmonic Siphon, Arc Siphon, dynamo Arms - Firepower, Heavy Handed x2 (preference) Chest - Arc, solar, void resist Legs - Recuperation, arc scavenger, absolution Cloak - Special ammo finisher, powerful attraction, reaper Use sword mods from artifact, with creeping chill, radiant orbs, galvanic armor Very fun. Different style. Just a ball of lighting just standing killing everything This build really shines when in prismatic stacking together both Ergo and Bakris damage buffs. Also, extending prismatic as you slay out with Ergo. Leads to a lot of hailfire spikes. Not to mention even more damage resistance. Loop: Arcbolt a group of suckers, jolting them, lightshift in to said suckers face’s, then vortex the biggest boy you find. The arc conductor will kill everyone else.
Hey, Mactics. When is the next time I can submit a build for will it build? Also, where do I submit it? I just discovered one of my new favorite solar builds that I’d like to submit. It involves Solar Fulmination, Dragon’s Breath, and Dawn Chorus.
How good is this grenade launcher when used with reconstruct bait and switch and its solar !? And I heard that it does double the dmg with the two grenades compared to a lightweight frame so shouldn’t this be meta af for boss dmg rotations with apex ????
@@SkeddTV prismatic is way better especially when you get to the boss and the room before it but like he said he just wants to turn his brain off and do less
@SquaredCircle7 I think it's just left open for interpretation. It's gonna be up to us to test variations. I haven't tried still hunt but ikelos sniper with my midnight coup works pretty well so far and he's correct about thunderlord
Your NF guides are terrible! No real breakdown for other classes, pros and cons and how to handle them but instead just dive deeper into your obsession with hunters 😂
Another tip for the electricity/orb hallway if your team doesn’t have an invis hunter, if you run/slide/run/slide down the hallway on the left side you will keep up with the electricity and not have to weave in and out. If you’re fast enough, the enemies won’t have time to see you and react by the time you dunk it
GMs have become so easy you don't even need to cheese the first encounter anymore, just roll through it like a regular strike. The real trickyness starts in the first underground room (going to the cubby room on the left has been the best so far). Then in the boss room, I see way too many crazy people sittin on the middle of the room, don't do that. Also sorry Mactics, left is also tricky because sometimes people neglect to kill the spawning shanks on the left. Go to the right, plenty of cover, better spot, nothing will spawn behind you or on your side. Then in the last phase, move to the left side for plenty of cover just for safety altho tbh, when the last phase starts you can just melt him with Supers and you're done. Somehow the boss is even more squishy now that it ever was before. Just remember in the boss room, right side first, then run to left side.
Might be a dumb question but does anyone know how do I use the fireteam finder for the weekly GM nightfall? It appears that I could only choose uo to master nightfall from the vanguard nightfall list.
I ran this GM with 2 of my friends and we used Div paired with one Outbreak and one Sunshot. We found that even with scav and scout mods heavy was not plentiful compared to special ammo
Thanks They definitely tweaked this one . My teammate tried the chair thing and that didn’t work lol. Oh and btw in the 1st room a champ can spawn in the entrance hall so I would definitely advise against that lol . Yea the hall to the left is the best move there for sure . If you don’t have a invis hunter for the next area it’s gonna be a tough one for sure One of my teams got cooked in there trying to get the charge . This vid definitely helps a lot . I’ve still keep thunderlord on my character all the time exactly for things like this .
