So many people asking "what's the point" is super sad to me. Destiny used to be filled with people trying to find hidden discoveries and now it's filled with this.
My guess is that someone figured out that pikes fuck with loading zones, then realized that the fucked up pikes ignored kill barriers or something. Then just combined those two discoveries to get to the correct loading zone
@@blix0000 No. You should see and be a part of it to know what's done. A lot of trying over and over again sometimes to have someone suggest something and it working. It's tedious but it's a choice. We pay for it. We explore. For fun.
So many comments asking what the point of this is.... Its an unused hidden area in the game. We arent supposed to get to it. We got to it.. this is an easier method to get to it. Thats the point of this video.

Love the video bro, awesome that this is possible. I’m confused about the quest that you’re mentioning at the beginning? What quest is that, where can I get it and why is the quest needed? Hope you can help!
@@pieterroeloffs2667 After you finish the final shape campaign, Micah-10 will start giving you quests to do, (finding lost ghosts etc.). After doing a few of them, you'll get given the quest you need, I mention the name of it in the beginning of the video. Once you have the quest, progress to step 2, and then you're all good. The reason you need the quest Is because it allows access to a portal in the edz that you need to go through for this tutorial.
Just got the shadows part 2 quest. Excited to do this tomorrow. Been on my bucket list. Any update on a way to have players join you there yet or still only one player at a time with this method?
@@Jackeddidge nice. Having issues after the portal. When my teammate has to guide me down the river. When hopping on/off I'm either not teleporting or the pike disappeared. Several attempts so far.
@@gabrielNature I've been glitching since the D1 beta. It has nothing to do with what your saying. I get that feeling but I don't do crucible AND I revive and don't ninja everything so I try and be adult. Not all do. But I really do l9ve getting out of the map. Bungie has some of the most interesting out of map locations and perspectives of maps of any companies game. Been doing it since Halo and those green fields up above lol. And "clout"? I'm thinking he's smart enough to know it's RU-vid. A vile company that employs bots and allows hate, discrimination, threats etc. and does jack squat about it. How can any sensible man or woman have any respect or clout from it? It's a for profit manipulative site. Good and bad here.
A nice one is, bring a skimmer, echelon to the shipyard on EDZ. Amazing amount of area and Cabal ships to walk and ride on. Such a huge area never used. And those towers!
@Jackeddidge I'm not sure if this is important but when I enter into the sludge I don't get the text at the bottom of my screen saying loading it just sends me into the new area. I also love the video.
It needs to say loading, if it doesn't happen, try restarting game, or going back to orbit and back in again, it can be pretty annoying to deal with, happened to me a lot

Shouldn't your team mate be able to leave and then join you jn galaxy pools? Gmeiners joined someone in galacy pools on stream and then had viewers join. Edit: Just read you tried that and it didn't work though it is clearly possible (see above). Maybe you need to set a spawn by dying and respawning there? @Rythm-44 any thoughts why the joining doesn't work?
leave and join has been broken outside of pale heart and playlist/activities since the new expansion dropped. you cannot leave and join to get to gpools unless you go there through a strike like arms dealer or lake of shadows
