As a lifelong Browns fan (30), I am rooting for the Lions so hard. I truly hope they make it to, and win the Super Bowl. We both have one of the most loyal fan bases in the NFL. Both of our teams exceeded expectations big time this year, and its about famn time we have a team that can compete with the rest of the league!

Go niners, but that being said... I hope it's a great game and no matter what team goes home I won't feel good. Great loyal fan base and I wish it wasn't the lions that we were sending home. Good luck guys.

How can you possible predict turnovers. You lost me right out of the gate. Turnovers WILL PROBABLY decide the NFC Championship game but predicting who turns it over more ? No one can see that in advance.

​@@ltahoe7195I mean, there are turnover stats. We can't predict anything but we can absolutely use stats to say what a likely outcome could be. I highly doubt this guy would bet his life savings on his prediction coming true. Like anyone else, he's making the best educated guess he can and hoping it works out that way so he can say "I called it." It's rare we ever get it right. But why throw shade at someone for doing what almost every NFL fan has done in their life..?

Do you forget who the owner and front office was when Calvin retired? Sheila didn’t take ownership until 2020. The team wasn’t going anywhere under Martha. Can’t say the same about Stafford though. He had the opportunity to buy in with Sheila, Dan and Brad. But he still chose to leave.

I'm glad he left for him and for us (Detroit). Without him leaving we wouldn't have gotten the picks we got and this team would not exist as we know it.

You've seen Calvin's hands right? Can you image catching Stafford fastballs for 6 seasons! He took a beating physically with the concussions also. In one game they basically told him to get his arse back in their after getting his bell rung. He put up the biggest single season ever by a long shot (1964 yards) and yet the Lions lost a playoff game in Dallas when a ref picks up a pass interference flag and says no harm no foul...

Good teams. but TBH Stafford was a choker and a slow runner. He could barely run for 4 yrds when the pocket collapsed. Hed rather take a sack or throw a pick. Strong arm though,

@@garywood3616 TBH, I probably leave. I never said I blame him for it. I’m also glad he left, it worked out great for both for him and the Lions. But Stafford had a chance to play for this Lions squad. Calvin didn’t. Taylor Decker could have left in 2020 too. He’s younger than Stafford so their situations aren’t quite the same. But Decker doesn’t stay if he thinks success is another 5-6 years away, he bought in on the new Lions. As for the team as we know it not existing, that’s true. It’d probably look completely different. But it doesn’t change the fact that BH knows how to spot talent. His 3 years of drafting success isn’t a coincidence.

I mean in terms of pro bowl talent the gap is pretty wide. Not incredible but wide. The 49ers' defense is WAY better, and the 49ers offense is also better, though by a smaller margin. The 49ers go to the Champ game every year they don't tie the record for injuries, with a top tier defende every year, a top tier run game. Now they have a very good QB, too. If you think they can't match what the Lions do, you haven't been watching 49er football.

You forgetting the 33-19 loss to the Ravens in Santa Clara? That was only a month ago. The Lions played at Baltimore three months ago in week 7, and that was their only blowout loss this season. The Detroit Lions are a much different team now than they were back then, obviously. They are 60 minutes away from the Super Bowl.

I'm a long time Niner fan (back to the Walsh/Montana 1980's dynasty) but without Deebo Lions will win 28-21. Deebo has to play for SF to win. Either way I don't see Detroit or SF beating Baltimore or KC in the Super Bowl. Those 2 AFC teams seem to be the best in the NFL.

My uncle actually played center for the Atlanta Falcons from the late 70s through to the beginning of the 90s and actually played in 7 pro bowls in a row & after his career ended the Falcons retired his jersey number so if there was honestly anything fishy going on behind closed doors he would've told me & if I really believed any of the conspiracies surrounding the NFL I'd be disregarding everything the my Uncle ever accomplished which would be the most disrespectful thing that i could ever do to my Uncle.

They played the schedule they had. Same as any other team. Cowboys had a cake schedule and couldn’t do what Detroit did. I’m a lions fan and am objective enough to say we prob have the least odds of winning the super bowl out of the remaining teams, but we weren’t supposed to get this far and look what happened…. Can’t count them out. Without being a homer…. If Debo doesn’t play, we have a great chance of winning this next game. Even with him we have a chance, but without him Purdy is limited on the one side.
