Slipknot are known for having some of the best live shows ever I wasn’t allowed to go last year cuz I was 13 and you have to be 14 and I literally died 😂
There's a german punkrock band named die toten Hosen (the dead trousers), who are older, don't use any fireworks and stuff, but their live shows are still the best I can think of, even after seeing Slipknot.
No one can beat Rammstein live it's a phenomenal display however I preferred slipknot as they're my favorite band but from a display spectacle Rammstein are crazy

I went to my first Slipknot concert in 2001 and I was 18 ;) now I am 37 and still go to every Slipknot concert that I can. I was lucky to see them this year :) always amazing live ;)
Slipknot shows are something else, I haven’t experienced anything like it since and I wanna go so many more times. It genuinely feels like one big family gathering of metal and awesomeness. I’ve never felt more like I belonged in a huge group of people before in my life. Fuckin love slipknot
I was at Slipknot live performance,it was unbelievable, there were goosebumps all over the body.Many are no longer satisfied with Corey voice,but damn it, he is 20 years in the band,he is a talent and an absolute legend
I’m skeptical about that album, I believed it’s gonna be called Look Outside Your Window? They said it’s gonna have a Radiohead vibe to it and it’s not a Slipknot album. Not sure how I feel about that. I hope it isn’t too soft.

my dad isn't a metalhead in any capacity, but he's joined me 3 of the 5 times i've seen Slipknot for, in his words, "one of the most intense and excited live performances i have ever seen....and i grew up with Led Zepplin!"
2015 my dream of seeing them finally came true and it couldn't have been anymore perfect ive been to alot of concerts but they were one of the best the energy the crowd was off the charts nearly broke my neck from headbanging they sound even better on the newest tour then when I saw them
The vast majority of Metal bands will be awesome live. All preformists, the crowd going crazy, the licks of the guitar smashing through your body. But Slipknot, well... Slipknot are a different being live. Truly sublime.
You mentioned Corey singing. What blew me away was when I saw them close Ozzfest Japan in 2013, (Yes I was in Japan at the show). and the next afternoon with Stone Sour. I was hung over as fuck, and getting energized, and he switched it up less than 12 hours later with even more energy.
@@ImmortalMachine when you replace a band member with someone else, it will inevitably change the way the music is written. Plus, Chris' vocals are unique, no one can do it like he does.
I agree but to be fair he probably was one of the most replaceable members. One of the least replaceable was Joey though which really brought a special sound to the band but Jay is so amazing, he totally fills the spot so good!
I have seen Slipknot over a dozen times now. I saw then 5 times in 1 years in 5 different states. Slipknot live is like watching the end of the world live on stage. There is no other way to describe it. I've also seen Corey Taylor's other band Stone Sour. He is 2 completely different people. With Stone Sour he's like "Hey, come party with us." In Slipknot, he demands your complete attention and you are helpless but to give it to him. In over 400 shows in my life, Slipknot is the best live band I've ever seen.
Because their a true, TALENTED band man, not many can be better live, or anywhere near but slipknot create such an atmosphere live, nothing can compare, not even their selves!!! Awesome video again bro.. KEEP ROCKING!!
I’ve seen Slipknot live twice . First show was the Last Stand tour with Motionless In White, Bullet For My Valentine and Lamb of God & let me just say that show was insane , I had a great time and it was my first real metal show. It was then that I knew I found my home and my people. Second show was Aftershock festival 2019 , an amazing lineup and our bois in Slipknot killed it . It felt amazing to get to see them again after a while . And lastly anyone who hasn’t seen them , when shows start again go , I highly recommend them. You’re gonna have a great time. 🤘🏻🤘🏻🖤✨
Eeeehhh... i mean, not really. He doesn’t even scream the chorus, it’s pre recorded. It’s because it was getting harder for him to scream because he was a heavy smoker, but he quit and u can really tell the difference in WANYK
I went to this concert and your expectations for this bands energy they bring out in a crowd are most likely right. Corey is very great at getting the crowd pumped and this festival had a LOT of class metal acts. The best part about this festival is Slipknot played both nights in a row and played songs at that point hadn’t been played live in many years, one of them being Three Nil. One of my favorite songs they did after Iowa tour. They won’t be as brutal as the Iowa tour but fuck my life do they still put on a great show. Worth every penny spent
I saw Slipknot live once in 2009.. with Metallica, Lamb of God and Machine Head.. the thing I most remember of Slipknot was when they ordered all the crowd to sit down.. :P what a concert
I saw them for about the 9th time back in Edmonton Alberta Canada. They played a place called the Shaw Conference Center. It made no Sense because they were huge at that time. That crowd was INSANE and they stopped the show to tell us to quite down because they couldn’t hear themselves on stage. It was LOUD!!!!
Alex Hefner Yessir! The bottom of it would keep coming off so it went over his mouth. By the end of the .5 tour he had a new one that was more reinforced in the jawline.

Seen them live twice. The first time i was about 18 and came out of the pit with a split lip and a cracked rib. Hands down one of the best nights of my life and definitely in my top 5 live bands
Blew them off the first I heard of them in the 90’s because they were from Iowa. No one thought “HARD ROCK” from Iowa. After their first couple times touring through my home state of Minnesota and hearing their songs on the radio I was hooked, been a fan ever since.
It’s a special moment in life seeing slipknot live, I seen them as backup for Metallica in the RDS arena in Dublin, Ireland. What an experience. I’ve seen Metallica three times, but seeing slipknot is something special to behold.
So glad i got to se Slipknot before the world shut down cos of covid-19, and even more glad i met Corey 2 years ago so he could remind me what this band is all about! He even wrote me up on his guest list to Stone Sours old out show!
I been going to knot shows since the late 90s seen them live over 30 times twice at the end of 2019 and it never gets old and by far one of my all time favorite live bands next to Korn and the mosh pits are insane and fun as hell especially spit it out.
This band gets better and better live every time I see them. I will never forget the first show I saw them at. I saw Mick come over right where I was on the front row and stared at us. Keep in mind this is a big freaking guy with massive shoulders. It was intimidating honestly lol. I loved it but good God that freaked me the fuck out. Im used to him now but that first time with the mask he has...damn son.
I'm not even really a huge Slipknot fan, but I have seen them on both of the last two tours. I will always do my best to see them live. Ridiculously great show. Every time.
Lol, I love Alex's obsession with Slipknot. I immediately became obsessed when I first heard them when Iowa came out in 2001. And his gf looks incredibly familiar to me, but I can't think why. Probably a twin out here somewhere, since we all have one.
Must agree with you that Slipknot is one amazing band and their live shows are great experience ,days after the show you can still feel that awesome positive vibe! Love your Dexter shirt,and that clip from Breaking Bad fits perfectly with Slipknot. Can't hear them just once!
Saw them in 2008 on tour for All Hope Is Gone. I was 14 years old, in the very front of the pit, center stage, and got a pick from Mick Thomson. Honestly my favorite memory.
I was lucky enough to be at that Knotfest! It was two of the best days of my life. Such a killer lineup, and Slipknot absolutely killed it both nights. I had chills for 2 days straight!
