I had the best dad anyone could've hoped for. As I get older I realize the things that I love the most are how he must've felt about me and it just makes me so damn happy that I made cards for father's Day instead of buying them and called him for no reason on occasion. The last father's day card I gave him I told him "Your best has always been good enough in my eyes" and I'm so glad I did. He would brag about my accomplishments like he was trying to sell me :')

That’s so very true. My two sons are half-Asian but I insisted/trained them on learning to make rice, eating with chopsticks, being good in Maths and doing the Asian squat 😅 So far so good. They are off to uni soon.

@@SumireSakura No “bro”. Dishwashers use very hot water for a reason, to kill bacteria. It won’t kill all of it but most of it which is more than enough. Also, you make it seem like the dishwasher just throws a bunch of water at the dishes and then just keeps recycling that dirty water to wash everything, which is completely wrong.
@@andreafionda542 I have seen it work. It felt so disgusting. I couldnt eat from plates washed like that. My roommate used to put pans with dried up omelette flakes in the diswasher and ran it 5 times. What's the point? Just hand wash it. Takes less than 2 mins to clean it.

As an American I can say that I've used my dishwasher as an expensive drying rack hahaah. Especially when its broken and you have a lot of dishes to do.
I mean, if you can't cook rice you should legit be ashamed of yourself. Especially if you're from a culture that values and eats rice as one of their primary food staples... which is most cultures.

My kid's 1st cousin has an Asian father & most of this cousin's life is an Asian culture. When they were around 8 yrs old, they were all visiting Grandma & she was serving rice. My son nonchalantly told his cousin, "I don't like rice". The look on that boy's face!!! He had never heard of someone not liking rice!! He didn't even know it was an option!

Most foreigners I believe don’t use a dishwasher, I haven’t ever used one my mom believes they waste too much water so we hand wash everything and place them in the dishwasher to dry 💀
@@LazyDev27 You're not supposed to do that! You're wasting water and literally making your dishwasher perform worse. They have sensors that detect that mount of dirt in the water and use that to determine how long wash cycle to use. When you rinse the plates, you remove most of the dirt but leave all the most stuck on dirt on the plates, while making the machine think the plates are almost clean, so it won't clean them properly. It needs to see the dirt in the water to correctly judge the amount of cleaning it needs to do.
