All things were created through him and without him was not anything made. God is not of the same substance nor is he a substance. God is a Spirit. You are not in essence or in substance The Almighty, one true God, you’re God. The trinity uses words that aren’t scriptural. Such words as incarnation, substance, essence.
You either end up at modalism partialism or 3 God's. Augustine ends up at 3 seperate God's. All souls are the same substance as God as they are his breath a part of him realized. That does not make us the Father. Just images of the Father. The Bible says God is not a human nor is born of a human. It is said in plain words. Numbers 23:19. The Bible cannot contradict so when things seem at odds. It is best to look at that which is straight forward and assume u are misinterpreting the complex. In this case John 1:1. This is basic herminutics. John 1:1 can be understood in many different ways especially with how Jesus explains he is god later in John to the pharisees by quoting the psalms and calling the pharisees gods. Take a good read of genesis in the original language, you will see that everytime it talks about God it's always in plural. Furthermore, Jesus saying "me and the father are one" should be pretty self explanatory

Agreed 👍 Denying the Trinity is denying the uniqueness of human existence. Human beings are the only creatures God has made with a mind, body, and soul. We are created in the image of the Holy Trinity (see Genesis 1:26). Essence of people: Mind + body + soul = 3 distinct parts. Existence of people: Human x living x being = 1 person. Essence of God: Father + Son + Holy Ghost = 3 Persons. Existence of God: All-knowing x all-powerful x ever-present = 1 God. If everything in the universe was summed up into its basic elements (realms of existence), it would be mental, physical and spiritual.

@@Daniel_Godismyjudge--Isah33.22 If you are referring to the Johannine Comma controversy to argue that 1 John 5:7 is not valid, i have to disagree because you are assuming that the Bible has been corrupted and therefore that God was unable to preserve His Word authentically, which is simply an error because God is indeed able to preserve His Word. I would suggest instead, whatever the explanation may be that those who argue against the validity of scriptures like 1 John 5:7 are those who are mistaken.
The Word of God are the Original Manuscript, the Translation that Mostly Align with the Original Manuscript are Part of the Word of God, that Live on in the Spirit. However, Not all Translations are Perfect. In Context of 1 John 5, John is providing testimony that Jesus is God's Son. He would not use Jesus as testimony since He would be testifying for Himself (John 5:31). This would explain why John uses the concepts of water and blood (in the Previous Verse) as the two others who testify that Jesus is God's Son. So, the Johannine Comma doesn't work.

"7 For there are three that beare record in heauen, the Father, the Word, and the holy Ghost: and these three are one." What I mean is that God preserved His Word not only in the original manuscripts, but His Word has also been preserved to this day and that is precisely what makes the current Bible a reliable source because it is God himself who has taken care of preserving his Word over the centuries, so for me there is no need to discredit or cancel 1 John 5:7, nor any other verse that can be found for example in today’s KJV Bible as well.
It creates a modalistic view of the trinity and goes against the Cappadocian perspective accepted at the Church councils, which states that two persons can't possess one attribute, it can only be possessed by one or all. Being the source divinity is an attribute unique to the Father and must be unique to him.

Augustine in his writings, referred to The Trinity as veiled in 2 Kings4….. An only young son of a woman has died and she pleads with Eliseus for help and he first sends his servant Gehazi to lay Eliseus’ staff on the boy but the boy remains dead so Eliseus arrives and descends on the boy matching his eyes, mouth and hands to those of the boy…the boy’s body grows warm then Eliseus descends again but now the boy sits up and coughs 7 times. Augustine said…Eliseus stands for God who first sent Moses to lay the Judaic law on mankind dead in sin ( the staff) but as Galatians says, “ had there been a law that giveth life, salvation would be from the law”…so God had to descend Himself onto mankind dead in sin first as Christ conforming himself to our body..eyes,mouth,hands…and in pain because an adult must grimace to make his eyes and mouth meet those of the smaller face. Then the second descent has no mention of that body parts ritual and does have the 7 coughs which connect to the 7 gifts of the Holy Spirit.

Christianity will never tell you this unfortunately but the consequences are huge. That to me is also far more interesting then some illogical trinity that has no basis in scripture. One does not need to understand the Holy Trinity, but take it on faith as in Matthew 28:18-20 (NIV) “18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. Not sure if this makes a difference but some translations of John 1:3 say created by him and some say created through him. Can the word orchestrate creation alone? I think “through him” is a more accurate translation since the Father had to speak the Word in order for creation to come into existence.
And question on Jesus not knowing the hour: is it correct to say that Jesus did not know the hour since he is the Word of God and God has not revealed or spoken of the hour therefore Jesus would not know since it was not spoken?

As a teenager I went to a “church”…. I would read and study the New Testament before school and before bed…. that “church” taught that God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit were one person. I just couldn’t accept that. They also taught that unless you spoke in tongues, you were not saved or you didn’t have the Holy Spirit. I would pray about it and pray about it. Now I am not going to sight and say “God told me” …. however, as I read and studied with a plain KJV bible, I believe my prayers were more effective. It was revealed to me one morning , as I read the baptism of Jesus for about the fifth time, that there are 3 persons….. Jesus, physically in the water, the Holy Spirit descending, and God speaking from Heaven. Case closed. Even though I understood the concept of the Trinity , I kept going…. and I struggled for a while with the speaking in tongues/Holy Spirit/Salvation teachings of this “church” …. and like before I prayed and prayed… and it was revealed to my mind that the thief on the cross was spared and Jesus, God the Son himself saved him. No speaking in tongues, etc., just his belief on this special occasion saved him. Later in life I learned about the Reformation, etc., and was unaware that the United Pentecostal “ Church “ teaches confusion and doctrine that is not found in the one, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church, which has existed for over 2,000 years, the Orthodox Christian Church. ☦️

I just subscribed today, I think and I find that we (Christians) get into trouble when we use the word "begotten" in relation to Christ. I understand that the word does not represent the semantic property we attribute to it. David was the first begotten, nevertheless, he was the youngest of eight children and the second King of Israel and the first begotten means "The highest", "The most important" in the eyes of God among his equals, but JW say "See, Christ was begotten..." meaning created.

Although with distinct personalities, they have one will and their character is this same due to their one nature, so therefore they cannot be in disagreement with one another. It NEVER happens. On the contrary, Jesus crystal clear states "I am only with the Father". PERIOD. This means that NO FURTHER DIVINE PERSONS can exist. Repeated four gospels long!!! Where is the fatal error? You don't understand WHAT WAS MEANT FOR "SPIRIT", namely the Holy Spirit is not a THIRD Person distinct from the Father. He is distinct from the Father in that He is a Spirit, but He is not a distinct PERSON: He is the SAME God, just in a different form. The Helper is not a third person (in fact he does not appear anywhere else in the gospels, NEVER with Father and Son to form a trinity!). He is just a “fictitious spirit" as here explained. Jesus states “I will come to you.”. But this of course won't happen in flesh and bones! It will happen that Jesus - who is in heaven, in another dimension - will simply SPEAK TO THE MINDS of the apostles. However, at that time people were not familiar with "remotely spoken words", or remote actions. For this reason the apostles would simply understand and witness that “the SPIRIT OF JESUS is inside them and is speaking to them,”. But in reality NO ONE, nothing will be inside the apostles, Jesus will be elsewhere speaking, in heaven. A similar thing happens with the Father: “the Spirit of [your] Father is speaking in you.” (in your mind). The Father is elsewhere - in another dimension - but is present as a Spirit (the Holy Spirit) inside the apostles to speak to them. Jesus confirms that the FATHER IS A SPIRIT (see Jn. 4:23,24). Thus, according to the apostles the “Spirits of the Son and the Father” (the Helper) would be inside them, but the truth is that there is NOTHING inside them: the Son and the Father - who are AWAY, in other dimensions - are just speaking to their minds, that's all. The fact that NO THINKING Spirit is inside the apostles is confirmed by Jesus: the spoken words actually come from SOMEWHERE ELSE, they are just REPEATED “ for he shall NOT SPEAK OF HIMSELF; but whatsoever he shall hear, (from the Son, the Father...) that shall he speak .” To sum up, the notion of "spirit" was just used just to tune with the mindset of the people of that time, in reality we talk to God who is away in a dimension different from ours: He answers and makes the relevant decisions, nobody is here. The Holy Spirit is thus DISTINCT from the Father, but when you talk to the Holy Spirit you exactly talk to the Father. No human relationship exists between Father and Holy Spirit: they are the same God in different forms. Jesus confirms that the FATHER IS A SPIRIT (see Jn. 4:23,24). He is either called "Holy Father" or "Holy Spirit" by Jesus, they are just EQUIVALENT names. This is why blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is a very serious offense. It is crucial that people learn history of the Church. You will learn which is the one true Church. God showed me that Jesus is not God, It really is very simple. Acts 2:22 clearly says Jesus is a man approved by God. They totally ignore these verses and jump to John 1:1. I always ask them, Does God have a beginning, they all say, "No God does not have a beginning". So I say, explain John 1:1 In the beginning was the word, and the word was God. It clearly says God has a beginning. It take a bit of time for it to sink in, That the word is not God, or an entity, It is Gods intent and purpose. Did you know that even Jesus is not an entity called the word. Jesus is only the word of God, because God was speaking to us trough Jesus. Jesus express the intent and purpose of God to mankind. Jesus represents the fathers will to man, through his words and character. That is why he is the express image of the invisible God and is called the word. In the old testament the word came to the prophet, that prophet was the word of God to the people. The word was and still is the message of Gods intent and eternal purpose to the people.

Jesus is not teaching or saying he is God, He is pointing out that he was the promised messiah that God promised would come into the world. The lamb of God is not God but what God provided, that is Jesus the messiah, the Christ, the anointed one. I fail to see how john 1:1 proves the trinity, because john is a human and is not God The authors of the gospels do make mistakes like in the genealogies of jesus in luke and matthew, where they leave out entire parts of the genealogy and disagree on who joseph's grandfather was Augustine is silly for taking the author's words as divine authority, he should instead use Jesus' clear words narrated FROM the gospel of john that the father is the 'only true god' in john 17:3

I certainly dont dispute what you say about following the teachings of men, only God's word is of importance, however regardless of the words of men, false teachings does not prove The Holy Spirit is not part of The Trinity. The Trinty in itself is a mystery, that is to say we can not comprehend, although some basic explanition is possible, God the father, is simply that, the creator of all things, all the way back in Genisis, at some point the story goes Adam and Eve leave the Garden of Eden and head for the wild lands after eating the forbiden fruit, from the tree of life or knowledge. At some point they realize they are naked and cover themselves with fig leaves, then something very odd happens, God begins to mock them and declare they think they are like "US", who is God refering to when he mocks Adam and Eve?
