I want to know why you lot don’t know how or what to do. If the colon is dirty, clean it. Since this prep step is your holy grail; make it enjoyable so that people want to do it. You make it hard and unenjoyable.
Thank you for this video! I have my first on Monday! Eeek. My main issue is anxiety. They said i can take lorazepam prior .. and they'll put me asleep, so hoping I'll be A-OK. 😊THANKS FOR THE VID. Funny and informative.
What are the new prep items? I did a colonoscopy about 4 or 5 years ago & the prep was dulcalax & the magnesium water & it was horrible. I was also wondering because I still have gut issues if I should already do it again? My colon was very clean as I took the prep seriously & kept going until I had clear fluid coming out. But still til this day I have gut issues & discomfort.
I think the worst part is the preparation for cleaning the colon. Stay near that toilet !!! Still..... do it properly if you are going to do it and I have to say the prep is a lot "nicer" these days! Oh boy, years ago it was ....... ick,!
This is not a question regarding colonoscopy. There was video you did about noises that your stomach make; some noises are normal and there are other noises that can be of concern and should be checked out by a doctor. When the noises are associated with pain, is there a name of for such a condition? What could be causing the pain associated with the noises?
Doc sameer I'm suhail .. based in Dubai all my life I've had digestion and gut issues , after I saw blood in my stool , I freaked out and finally got a colonoscopy done, 1 year back , and although the doc told be everything looked alright .. I am still not fully convinced, cuz I'm still have digestion issues and get constipated often , do you think that I should get another colonoscopy cuz I'm still scared if something is seriously wrong with me... is there any alternative tests , to screen for colon cancer or polyps.
I wish I could have you as a doctor. I'm a 39 year old female and have been plagued by stomach issues my entire life, my father also had colon cancer. I've done everything in the world except for being scoped from both directions. I live in Montana and my experience with doctors so far has been horrendous, especially the gastroenterologist that I had to wait 4 months to have a consultation with. The man had less mannerisms than a goat. If he hates his job that much he should find another one rather than treat people unkindly. I suffer from constipation and diarrhea constantly sometimes all in the same day, with horrible debilitating stomach cramps. My gallbladder was removed when I was 15 years old, I have done and tried everything to be kind to my body. If you have any suggestions I would be grateful.
I am three years overdue for my five year reexam. I finally called for an appointment to find they will only do it in the office if your BMI is 40 or less, which mine was not. Chronic gut pain and $600 for a hospital colonscopy motivated me to lose over 30 lbs. this year. I have an office appointment tomorrow morning.
