How BAD is Jordan Poole Actually? 

If he had a better attitude, he could still be an effective player who slowly gets better and might develop into a superstar. But attitude is everything and he has a bad one. He wants to be a star now when he should be trying to be a really good role player who grows into a bigger role. It's probably going to ruin him as an NBA player and he'll wind up in Europe or Asia.

Poole's main issue, and why I don't regret the Dubs letting him go, is he doesn't care anymore. He openly admitted he "can play stress free basketball for the first time," which is not a Championship attitude. Champions play every game in every season as if it's their last, and like each game is Game 7 of the NBA Finals. If Poole is going to become the player he ultimately could be, he needs to stop being so casual about his play and start showing some love and passion for the game and his place in it as a "leader" of the Wizards. If he doesn't start caring, he'll never amount to anything other than a "leech" on the Dubs' success in 2022.

Everybody focuses on Poole's shooting, but ignore the rest of his game. His defense is inconsistent, and he turns the ball over to much. In 22-23, the Warriors 2nd unit, which he was supposed to be the leader of, sucked. They kept giving up leads. In 23-24, with Chris Paul leading the way, the second unit is blossoming. Kuminga is well on his to becoming better than Poole will ever be.

The problem was they gave him too big a bag. If he had a better contract they would have kept him.

He is failing on an off the court, and I say this because off the court fan sentiment matters. Head down, work hard, be humble, your fans will love you and give you time to grown. Public perception matters greatly. He can be good, but if no ones rooting for him to be good, he will be analyzed to holly hell and the pressure will be too much.
