Bam Adebayo is changing the center position in the NBA as we know it! Check out A.M. Hoops: / amhoops Follow us on Instagram: / nonstop Follow us on Twitter: / nonstop How Bam Adebayo Is Changing The NBA
It's a testament to Bam that pretty much no one points out how undersized he is for his position. He's only 6'8/6'9. I think that's what makes him so good. His height doesn't hinder him in the slightest when he guards other big men and his lack of true center height helps him with the smaller guys.
Line Hagen sure bam is a big who can catch lobs and block shots, but bam can guard 1-5 facilitate and he’s got some mid range on him. Wouldn’t be surprised if bam starts shooting 30% or up just hitting corner threes. He’s a nightmare on the pick and roll cuz he could literally go anywhere. Plus bam ain’t a big show, he’s not gonna go out and do stuff just because it looks good, bams got a heart for winning and seeing his teammates succeed. I’m not saying he’ll be the best player in the nba at any point in his career, but the dude has a real bright future as long as he stays healthy.
People are way too quick to be saying the wildest things. The prime example is Pascal. First, he is an ascending player that can hit top 10 player spot and now he’s a choker and not what we expected. Give these players some years to establish a name. Bam has been doing good this year but lets see the consistency throughout his career.
@@ninolamkin4558 like I said, the guards today woulda woulda broke his ass down easily ,btw guarding Stockton, miller, clyde wasnt a hard task at all, being datnone of dem could really create a shot
Detroit Drama I’ll let you slide with Stockton but to say that Reggie and Drexel couldn’t create a shot is either acting in bad faith or you just don’t know basketball
I'm a heat fan and he's my fav player in the league rn I hope they give this man the money he deserves but with that shoulder injury going on right now idk what's gonna happen to him just hope he can stay healthy and lead a heat to a chip maybe this year or another just hope he recovers
At first I thought this was AM Hoops channel 😂 The similarity in their voice is astonishing... Or is this Casey's side hustle ??? 😂 working part-time for Nonstop 😂😂😂 Edit: This was my first comment/reaction before watching the full video (before I knew it was actually AM Hoops)
As a heat fan I think pat realize bam is a star with no ceiling and we don’t need a free agent to win it all ,so they are giving a Supermax extension to bam this offseason
Bam, Giannis, Bron and Simmons are the only players that legit can guard 1-5. Before anyone says AD, he couldn't stay infront of Harden, Dame, Murray or Westbrook at all.
From what I have seen I can say he is going to be the upgraded version of 2014-2016 Draymond Green. I am going to get some slack but just keep in mind Draymond back then was just so good. Current Draymond is a glorified role player
@@adambyers2212 that's exactly what I said. An upgraded Draymond since he is better at scoring and rebounding. His height is going to make him a better defender too.
dude lebron is 6,9 so was magic so was amare, giannis, alonzo, james worthy, karl malone. acting like we have never seen players of that size being that good. And btw up until this point did they face any team with a big front court. just a question.
ツ I’m not saying he would be the exact same as bam I’m just saying without the injury Dwight would be changing the game similar to bam. He would develop a mid range shot and I think he would improve his perimeter defense.
It’s like now one is talking about what the Miami Heat are doing the playoffs. We took down the first seed in the East , Miami was the 5th and all people are talking about is the lakers like dang.
Also using the term "can gaurd 1 to 5" very lightly. He can keep up with gaurds better than most centers and is is one of the most versatile defenders in the league, but you arent going to let him gaurd a gaurd or even a lot of small forwards full game. There are only 2 or 3 players in the league who can do it
