Einstein said insanity is defined by doing the same thing over and over again and expect different results. If O’Brien and Golden are still there next season that would be insane.
Einstein must have seen O'Brien's complete seven play offense! Seven plays.......over and over and over. Gibbs off tackle on first down every time. Like watch the film......EVERYTIME!!!!
As someone who followed the Texans in recent years, any success they had was in spite of Bill O'Brien, not because of him. Remember when he started Tom Savage over Deshaun Watson and that lasted a whole 2 quarters? How people fall for him as some brilliant football mind or QB whisperer is insane.
Congratulations on the marriage big man! From LSU! I wish you nothing but the best in your marriage! Absolutely love watching your videos after every week. Keep up the great
As an LSU fan that actually (most times reluctantly) respects Alabama, ANY win against Nick Saban and Alabama feels like a championship win. When Saban was with LSU, we reigned supreme. When Saban left for the NFL, it stung but it was understandable. When Saban accepted the position with LSU's rival ... yeah ... that felt like a betrayal (even though it was understandable). So part of the excitement is that we beat Saban again. AND ... it looked like we were going to have another horrible year when it started. Gotta give credit to LSU's staff and the team for getting back in the game and pulling themselves back into the Top 10.
As a Georgia fan, I feel really bad for Bama fans like you. You know, the lifelong fans, the ones who love Bama with all their soul, they were born into it and they will die in it regardless of the record. The ones I enjoy seeing struggle are the ones, who are my age or older, that only became Bama fans AFTER 2007. I call them fair weather fans, they are only Bama fans because Bama is winning. If you stick with the team through thick and through thin, you are a true fan, and you have my respect. My condolences to the true Bama fans, as a lifelong Georgia fan, I’ve been there done that and I know how bad it suck. GO DAWGS! Oh, and congratulations on getting married!
I agree 100% I grew up through the era of coaches taking recruits and players to strip clubs using the schools credit card. Players selling textbooks with their autographs in them. Losing to teams like Northern Illinois, ULM, and Hawaii. I remember that 2005 season with Mike Shula going 10-2 just for it all to come crashing down when it was discovered that some of the players where doing "illicit" activities on the campus grounds. Seeing these new Bama fans cry over wins and die over close losses to good "SEC" teams makes my day everytime.
My family is from Alabama. Our roots are as much embedded in Crimson soil as our faith in God. I remember Bear. I also remember Mike Dubose, Mike Shula, Dennis Franchione and his resignation by teleconference. I was there through it all never would I abandon Bama. To Georgia, I'm proud of your program and what Coach Smart is doing. A strong Georgia, a strong LSU, a strong Tennessee, a strong Auburn, A strong Ole Miss, means a strong conference. A winning conference. I just hope the true Bama fans can appreciate the mind boggling success we currently enjoy because it is likely not going to repeated any time soon. Six titles under this coach but what is crazier is that Bama played in NINE title games. Losing is never easy but hopefully the pride of the honor of wearing that uniform will unite them going forward. #bamaproud
Thanks for pointing that out. It is crazy that Alabama, under Saban, has been in the national championship game for the '09, '11, '12, '15, '16, '17, '18, '20, '21 (with a .667 winning %) seasons form 09-2021. Not to mention that in '13, if not for the kick-six, Alabama goes on to the SEC title game (and probably wins, sending them to play for another national title). In '14 Alabama was in the playoffs. No matter what happens in the future, going to 9 national title games in 13 seasons, winning 6 of them...This must be what it was like to be a Yankees fan in the 1950's. Wondering what kind of fan I am? I'm an alum ('97), and I was THERE the last time Vandy beat Alabama (homecoming of '84?, I think, definitely under Perkins...I was a kid, but I saw that...back when Bryant-Denny had artificial turf and a capacity of about 55,000....and looked, from the outside, like somebody put it together with an erector set). Roll Damn Tide!
As a Georgia fan, I really enjoy these videos. Not for the salt but for the truth! As entertaining as this dude is he’s speaks the truth about CFB and his team. He takes his lumps like a professional and gives credit we’re credit is due. Congratulations on the marriage and keep making great content!
Congrats on the marriage! No lie.... I'm a LSU fan and I thought we would lose close in the 4th quarter. I'm glad that BK shut up all the folks that said he isn't a good fit. We should win the next 3 games and get smashed in Atlanta against Georgia. But hey, we never expected BK to get us the the SEC Championship in year one! GEAUX TIGERS!
As a Dawg we appreciate the respect. The reason everyone has Bama’s name in their mouth is because deep down, they know. Dawgs certainly still respect y’all and know what you are capable of! Congrats on getting hitched!!
I've been waiting for an "Other Maine" appearance after a Bama loss and I got to say... Even as an Auburn Alum... I felt like he was on a leash. Next time he comes back, win or loss... He needs to bring ALL DA SMOKE! 😆 Look forward to your content every week. Thank you for all you do and congrats on the wedding!
Congrats on the wedding! Now, as a Tennessee fan, we havnent had a team this good or exciting since 2001/2003, i think we are allowed to be a little ridiculous. I remember bammers and how yall were shedding tears in 2008. Gotta give Huepel some time to get the players he needs to win on both sides of the ball. UGA is a good team and Kirby had them ready to play. Also the crowd in Athens was great, 9 penalties, 8 presnap, they were ready to show out. I would love to see UGA again and I cant wait for these divisions to go away. Its painfully obvious that the best 2 teams in the SEC this year reside in the East, they should be playing in the SECCG not LSU. Good game tho LSU, helped keep Tennessee's playoff hopes alive.
Huepel can’t recruit the big men in the trenches. Go look at the 2022 offensive linemen. Better yet look at the 2 for 2023. You win games up front. Once Pruitt’s guys move on good luck getting those skill guys to block and stop the run.
As a Penn State fan, I have to give your Volunteers a lot of credit for what y’all have done so far this season. Nobody expected you to be 8-0 going into the Georgia game and put up the kind of numbers your offense has put up (up until Georgia), we didn’t expect you to be ranked #1 even if it was for only a week, and we certainly didn’t expect Josh Huepel to accomplish all this in only his second season with the program. Especially after losing 35 players to the transfer portal, Tennessee has all my respect for what they’ve been able to do this season despite the Georgia loss. Good luck to y’all the rest of the season and hopefully you guys can still get into the playoff. I never thought I’d say this having grown up never been a fan of the SEC, but go Vols
Congrats on getting married. As an longtime LSU fan I was looking forward to this one and great respect. We’ve been on the side of the last minute Bama miracle plays it was sweet to have one go our way. Geaux Tigers!
Congratulations on your marriage! Prayers for y’all to have a lifetime of happiness. Love my team through thick and thin (just like marriage; 48 years married and 50 together). Blessed to be raising up a 3rd generation of Bama fans in Kansas even though I moved here 48 years ago. ROLL TIDE!!!
Wow - Congrats on the marriage! I hope it goes great for you. I'm a Georgia fan but love watching your videos every week. Keep your chin up - your true character shines in trials. I'm glad the Bama players have Coach Saban to teach them about life and prepare them for the future. You are a great fan, and Bama is fortunate to have you. All the best!!
Congrats on the marriage.I am 75 and a Bama Fan since 1963.congrats to LSU and their fans.Caoch Kelly is a good coach and a class act.Our Tide has another battle on their hands next Sat.ROLL TIDE!
We were surprised. Think about the situation of this year for LSU. A complete new group of coaches, a team full of transfers and true freshman. They played with all their heart and soul. Everyone thought the team would only win six, maybe seven.
Congratulations on getting married. Hoping you and your wife have a great and blessed life together. As an LSU fan I have to say it was a great game. Lead change after lead change in the second half had everyone on their feet. First time beating Bama at home in what 12 years? I love your channel and your honesty on college football, I look forward to it every week. Keep up the great work and don’t worry, Bama and their dynasty has nothing to worry about. Still and always will be a powerhouse program
Congratulations on your wedding. I feel you as a Bama fan since birth born and raised in Ohio it hurts. Now I have to hear about it from Buckeyes fans. ROLL DAMN TIDE ROLL!!
Congrats on your wedding! Wishing you a lifetime of happiness! I’m not an Auburn fan by any means, but I really hope they hire Cadillac. He had so much enthusiasm, and an obvious love for what he was doing. Give the man a chance at least! Auburn did have the lead for a while. Totally agree with Bama needing to clean house. We aren’t used to losing
LSU wanted it more! Did you see how aggressive and hungry they were during the game??? Nobody wants our OC/DC!!! Kmsl! But, I am a forever Bama fan!!! ROLL TIDE 🐘
I usually wait on Sunday for the content drop but, as you can see I waited until Tuesday to watch. I appreciate the perspective you bring to situations like this. Congrats on the Wedding and keep doing what you are doin. Roll Tide!!
I was too depressed to watch this until today (a week after the second loss) but I'm glad I did. You always have a good way of keep us crazy fans grounded.
Georgia is a STORM. Auburn can be 1-8 and I still get nervous every iron bowl… they show up for that game every year. Under Saban, the dynasty can never end :) I do think everyone is too field rushing happy this year… like you SHOULD expect to win. Act like you’ve been there before. Great video and roll tide! Congrats on the wedding!
If the Iron Bowl was in Jordan Hare this year....I'd be a nervous wreck. The thing about that game is...location, location, location. There hasn't been a convincing win by the road team in that series since Bama beat auburn 42-14 in 2011 at auburn. Our two wins in auburn since that time (2015 and 2021) were UGLY. However, when we host the Iron Bowl in Tuscaloosa, it's different. I like our chances of beating them this year. Right now, they look better, but that's on emotion and that won't carry them but so far. They still haven't won a game since September. Sure, stranger things have happened, but I can't see us getting beat at home by a team with a depleted roster, an inexperienced interim coach, and barely half of a coaching staff. It may not be a blowout win, but, if nothing else, I believe we eek one out. Saban can't afford to get beat at home by such an inexperienced interim coach.
CONGRATS TO MR. and MRS. FUNNYMAINE!!! From a fan of Bama and Jermaines' weekly posts, I wish yall a happy and BLESSED LIFE TOGETHER! GOD BLESS YOU BOTH!!!
First, congratulations on your marriage. Here's to a long and healthy marriage. Now, to be fair with regard to LSU and why we're so excited as to storm a field. Remember less than a year ago we had a mass exodus in the portal and only had 39 scholarship players in our bowl game. The quarterback was a last second converted receiver (Jontre Kirklin), and we of course lost. New year, new coach, mostly freshmen and transfers, and look at that team now. That's why fans are so excited.
As a Vol fan, I understand this reasoning! Only 20 months removed from firing the Bama martyr, Pruitt, for handing out McDonald's 💰, and losing all of those players to the transfer portal, we beat Bama. LSU, we salute you for handing Bama their 2nd loss, and we understand why you rushed the field. I hope Jermaine Burton wasn't so scared he had to punch 3 people like he did after the Vol game. GB🍊 and Geaux Tigers!
@@supercheese7033 It’s our field. We’ll storm when we see fit. Bama fans so entitled. We’ll be kicking that ass next year too. Get used to it. The BK error has begun. GEAUX Tigers!
Loved the vid, love watching you Maine, just hated the game. Really hoped we'd have rallied after the bye week and became more the team we can be. Oh well. And for those of you talking smack about my boys at Bama bc you're pissed we lost, remember we not only play in the toughest conference but also get everyone's best every game. Let's be honest, the standard is, "but can we beat bama" not can we beat Georgia or Tennessee or LSU, it's can they beat Bama! We have a lot of young players so that affects it too. Just be patient, we ain't done Rollin yet!
I love Bama no matter what happens and have for my entire life. But thank you for telling the truth about our coordinators. Both have needed to go since last year.
First off Congratulations on your marriage. As a Dawg fan I just want you to know how many years I have enjoyed your videos. During my deployments in Iraq and Afghanistan you always had me laughing So thank you for that.
Ha! As a Tennessee fan and alumna, the Tennessee River was already polluted LONG before the fans threw that goalpost in it lol But seriously, we did not perform like we should have against a far better defense than we have. Georgia's the defending national champion for a reason, FunnyMaine. But hey, we're gonna win out and possibly still have a shot at the playoffs, which is something we've been waiting for for a dang long time! lol Love your videos, man!
Congrats on the wedding! I am a lifelong Bama fan, born into it. My father attended school there during the Bear Bryant years, I grew up watching Bama, it is one of my connections to Dad and I will always yell "Roll Tide!" We have had difficult years before, we will come back from it, do not get discouraged! I love Saban, but there were many years before him. Even Bear had slump years! And honestly, like you said this is a blip...a bad day. Yes, it has been brewing a bit, but it is hardly the end of a dynasty. These people forget Bama has been winning consecutive "championships" since 1924!!! Stallings had some blemishes and no one hardly mentions him (possibly because of it), but I actually really liked the guy (well what you can see in interviews, etc.) and the kind of football he played (our defensive game has slipped a bit), but the end result to most people was the scandal and 1 championship. I remember some really great games from those years, though. So even when we don't carry the title yeare after year we play some really mean football! 🙂 I hope Sabin keeps going, and I would like to see him get some different support in there. I hate to say it, because I hate condemning coaches, but honestly, Golding has gotta go! We have allowed far too many points from the opposition this season. O'Brien? Oh boy, not sure if he and Bryce don't play well together, but their talent and records should produce more fruit than this, imho.
As a UGA Dawg, we recognise its because of Kirby; he had the ability to take what he learned from one of the best coaches in SEC history and apply it to his program. UGA is extremely blessed.
Congrats on your new life and thanks for the props to my Dawgs! Regarding the Bama dynasty, as long as Saban is HC, they aren't going anywhere. He's never been one to sit back and just let things happen. Changes will be made to keep them in the mix. They'll be in the conversation for a while longer, I'm sure of it. I don't care what Finebaum thinks!
I just want to say that there was a lot of honest truth spoken in this video today. I am a Tennessee fan, but I watch these reaction videos every week. The Alabama dynasty is not over and will not be over as long as Saban is your coach. I picked Alabama to beat Tennessee this year, but was extremely glad to see the Tennessee win. Tennessee still has a long way to go before we can consider what we have to be a dynasty and that was proven on Saturday. Alabama will be back. That’s a promise. Keep up the good work with your videos! GBO 🍊
Saban is amazing, no doubt, but Alabama football has had championship teams since 1924. I want Saban as long as we can have him, but he needs new coordinators Period. But, Bama will still be Bama, if he should ever leave. It is a school rich with football legacies and tradition. Roll Tide!
Congratulations on the marriage! And I love the content you throw out every week. Now about my vols, yes we got thumped, We for sure didn’t play our game on Saturday, but let’s keep in mind this is the 2nd year with this coach, with a mass exodus of players who left thanks to the portal. 1 week at number, yes that’s true..but I have a good feeling we will be right back up there soon! GBO!
Vols fan here… Just so everyone is aware, not ALL Tennessee fans were being obnoxious this season. Not ALL Tennessee fans were gloating about anything. SOME of us have been waiting for a season like this since childhood and are happy as hell to see it finally happen. But nothing disrespectful or annoying. Just silent happiness.
Very humble Vol fan myself but it also seems like we have to defend our excitement. Like we as fan's haven't earned it after dealing with the last 15 years. Go Vols 🍊
Congratulations and wishes for a lifetime of matrimonial bliss! You are a true gentleman who can bear a loss with class and dignity while still being hilarious. Thanks for all the laughs.
Congrats on the Marriage Maine! Another Big Step in life! Personal Stuff ALWAYS takes priority over RU-vid and Social Media. ALWAYS. The People who are saying 'The Dynasty's Over' are Delusional as Hell. Bama's Combined Margin of Defeat in Both Losses is 4 Points. Clemson got SPANKED by the Irish by 21 Points. Tennessee got SMACKED by the DAWGS by 14 Points. Who the Hell are WE to say such Stupid Stuff like that? Let the Performance on the Field do the Talking. LSU was the BETTER TEAM Saturday Night, and they EARNED that Win. Bama just has to take care of Business against Ole Miss, and the Nay-Sayers will be Silent Again. One thing I WILL SAY: SABAN MADE A GIGANTIC MISTAKE HIRING BILL O' BRIEN AS THEIR Offensive Coordinator. In the Words of UrinatingTree: "BILL O' BRIEN IS A HACK." That Tennessee / Georgia Game was Unbelievably Fun to Watch. The DAWGS did what they NEEDED to do so SMACK the Vols back to Reality. The Score does NOT tell you how DOMINANT THE GEORGIA DEFENSE WAS. There's Still 3 Games Left in the Season Though. We need to take care of business at Mississippi State, Kentucky, and Georgia Tech, THEN we can focus on Atlanta and the SEC Championship. Until Then, WE MUST KEEP WINNING. Notre Dame, IMO, SAVED their Season by SPANKING Clemson. Just a HARD-FOUGHT, TEAM WIN for the Irish. I KNEW the Irish weren't making the CFP, but they are Bowl-Eligible, and that alone is enough for me. Clemson... I TRIED to WARN you about D.J. Uiagalelei... AND YOU DID NOT LISTEN. He should've been on a VERY SHORT LEASH throughout the Season.... The Game against Syracuse should've been the WAKE-UP CALL TO MAKE A CHANGE. YOU ARROGANTLY REFUSED.... AND LOOK WHAT EXACTLY HAPPENED. If Cade Klubnik Transfers at the End of the Season... YOU HAVE NO ONE TO BLAME BUT YOURSELVES. YOU AIN'T MAKING THE CFP WITHOUT SERIOUS HELP NOW. START PRAYING. I'll give credit to Florida for bouncing back after a Loss to the DAWGS. A 21-0 Second Half to Silence Kyle Field? I'll gladly take that. Just One More Win to Bowl Eligibility. YOU CAN DO IT, GATOR NATION! I know Mississippi State has been all over the place in terms of how they play this year, but that was a MUCH-NEEDED WIN, Regardless of how close it was. However... Georgia's coming to town this Saturday. CAN YOU SHOCK THE WORLD? Looking forward to Saturday's Game in Starksville. Again, Congrats on your Marriage FunnyMaine. Keep up the Good Work both with these Videos, and in Life!
FM and OM...Thank you! Just saying thank you for your videos. As a bama fan for over 40 years I have ridden with the tide through the good years and bad. Your videos are really helpful getting through the tough losses. Thank you so much and keep it up! ROLLTIDE!
It's a harsh reality but Man, you speak the truth!!! True fans will stand with Bama, win or lose. Oh and to all the haters out there, the Dynasty is far from over, watch and see. Roll Tide!!!
Congratulations on your marriage!!! 🎉 Man i love my team i love my pure bama fans. We will be ok, its just a blessing everyweek to be allowed to watch the Crimson Tide play. Roll Tide!
Eh 2011 Tide went 10-3..these seasons happen, but I would like a new OC and DC next year. Oh well finish the season strong Tide and come back stronger next year
Lol, I predict LSU will give UGA a decent game however to expect they will win the SEC in a year they had to bring in 14 transfers and only had 37(I believe) scholarship players is a bit much.
Geauxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Tigersssssss I thought of you during that game FunnyMaine!!!!!! That was one of THE BEST games I've seen in Death Valley in a hella long time!! Yall are a worthy opponent.... Congrats on the Nuptials!!! You are a whole husband!!!, hope she has better taste on football than her new hubby!!!!
In 2020 everyone new the ball was going to devonta about 25 times a game but yet stark would still be creative and develop plays that would make him open. We got the talent bill just isn’t creative enough. It’s shameful bc these boys r really good
Congrats on the nuptials! I was a few weeks shy of turning 16 when Bear Bryant passed away in 1983. I was in the weight room for football winter workouts when one of our coaches came in and said, "Fellas, I have some sad news; Bear Bryant has passed away. Let's have a moment of silence to honor the man." Everyone bowed their heads in reverence to a legend. And, this was in Knoxville, Tennessee. I was born and raised in Knoxville. We're all indoctrinated to hate Bama, especially during those lean years of the 1970s and 1980s. But, despite the good-natured rivalry, there was an immense respect for The Bear. I never imagined that there would ever be another like him. And, I never imagined he would be eclipsed by another legend-and that I'd live to witness it in my lifetime. When Saban sails off into the sunset-life is life after all-I hope that Bama has used up all of its good football luck and I won't have to witness another "dynasty". 🤣🤣🤣
As an LSU fan I'm surprised we we're able to put up a good fight against Ya'll to be honest. Congrats on the wedding, and Bama will be straight as long as Saban is there. Great video man keep it up.
Clemson fan here. I really hear you about your coordinator point. Clemson was very blessed to keep coordinators as long as we did. I'm not sold on Streeter as OC. Jury is still out on Wes running the defense. Oh and Congratulations on the wedding!
Truth! Congrats on the wedding! Born and raised in the Alabama culture, all these years. Respect to Georgia, LSU, and sigh, even Tennessee. But Roll Tide Forever.
We ended last year with only like 38 scholarship players. And have a whole new coaching staff and pretty much all new players. We don't even have a full roster this year. So yeah, we're a bit excited that LSU is winning games and especially the big ones
I would drink a Scotch and smoke a cigar with you on a Saturday. You're the type of fan that is fun and intellectually superior to most. Keep up the good work.
Remember in week 1 when you made that video about Brian Kelly. I feel like I’ve had that conversation regarding Saban with every Bama fan I know this week! On a bright note, kid from my hometown committed to Bama. So, Saban is still getting WRs over his biggest competitors. I fully expect Saban to correct issues. The foundation he built at LSU survived damn near 20 years. It ain’t fallin apart in Tuscaloosa anytime soon.
Congratulations on the marriage. Pray you two are at least as happy as we two are. Stay loving when things go bad or good. Praying for you both. And thanks for the videos. Roll Tide..
Congratulations on getting married. I wish you all a lifetime of happiness. Thank you for shouting out them dawgs. They showed up when they needed to and played well. #godawgs
