As one of your oldest viewers (I'm 27), I just wanna say adulting is still hard for me. I succeeded in moving out of my mom's house at 24 and I've been working full time for like 4 years now, and I still struggle with adult stuff. Protip: for as long as you don't have a car, still keep a large backpack with you so you can take it for grocery shopping. I find it easier to carry stuff if it's on my back instead of in my arms in 1 giant tote bag.

As a 24 year old I can confirm adulthood is just like this. I felt the same at 19 and now I've done more shit but I still get scared going to the grocery store so it checks out. To all the 18 and 19 yr olds (and even early 20s) yall are doing great seriously do not stress it if you dont have everything figured out, you're not supposed to and figuring out life is hard and awkward but I promise you youre doing just fine

I relate to being this quiet in school so much! We had a teacher, he was my physics teacher for 4 years and after that my math teacher and A-level tutor for 2 years. When gratulating everybody during the graduation ceremony he did *not* know who I was. He had a tiny chit chat with everyone but looked like he had genuinely never seen me in his life and just said "congratulations"💀 I sat front row btw. I sat RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIS DESK during A levels bc I was late on the first day and all other seats had been taken already. So... yeah😂

As someone who is only recently reached adulthood in March and is off to college in August, your videos have helped lots for me to be ready for college. Excited, nervous, and not ready to be by myself in a city full of strangers. Edit: My upside of living on campus is that downtown is right where my dorm is. Also, being in a powered chair will help with carrying grocery bags.

I’m a college student and on my first grocery trip I made the very wise and totally big brain decision of completely filling up 4 plastic bags with grocery food and carrying all 4 bags by hand back to my dorm in one trip. It was extremely heavy and I died midway to my dorm.

The teacher not remembering the name is so relatable to me, I remember the incident where I was sitting right in front of the teacher and she was checking my project. And then she asked "who is tafhim?" And I was like "I don't know who that is" and my friends were looking at me like I committed a crime. When the teacher realized, it was me her reaction was priceless. From that moment on she remembers my name. I still get shocked when few teachers knows my name. I like to be invisible, so it's better if they don't know my name.

As someone who will turn 18 next year, I have to say that "being an adult" (as in: having responsibilities, doing chores, etc.) doesn't actually sound that bad. Exhausting? Yeah. Scary? Not quite. In fact, spending the day doing mundane tasks sounds quite relaxing. What DOES scare me, however, is the possibility of becoming a failure and disappointing everyone around me. I already have a lot (and when I say that, I truly mean A LOT) of regrets due to my ignorance and laziness, mostly (eg: I feel like I ruined my life with my not-very-well-thought highschool choice), so the fact that becoming an adult legally multiplies the chance of having more of them by 3 or 4 times doesn't seem too pleasing to me (minimum) doesn't make me feel so good about it.
