I really hope that everything worked out for this guy. He really tugs at my heartstrings because I too am a doctor who has been disillusioned with medicine for over 16 years. I have continued to tough it out because I am in a third world country where we earn very little and so money is the issue that keeps many of us trapped. Its amazing how long one can persevere through something that doesn't fulfill you or bring you happiness when there are limited options, bills to pay and dependents to care for....

I would if they most of them had not maltreated me , made me ill and taken 39 years of my life. Not talking about their lack of knowledge, that is human, but of their deliberate harm, like withholding info and options, not examining me adequately and not searching until they find what is wrong, letting me manage the unmanageable alone for decades, AND blaming me for having many illneses on top of it, as if not gettingbhelp and being bullied and lied about in the journal wouldn't cause worsening. They could own and use some of all teh knowledge I gathered, and not throw me between talk of me being hopelessly ill to making my illness up. The latest let me be there for almost 1 hour, in which much useful could have been done together. He smiled and behaved calmly, seeming nice, sat writing a letter to me, instead of the Drs note, which was 1 of my 2 reasons for the visit, letting me talk alone, which causes me to space out because of CPTSD and extreme longterm sleep deprivation . He then got hard as he had finished writing and wanted me to leave. He said he couldn't mix into when there was a guardian, although I told him the guardian is unlawful. He had also mentioned that I 10 years prior had questioned his competence. I said No, I only questioned you activating that competence for me a s a patient.I have gone without treatment and help for those 10 years, he still expects me to be happy with him? This acute visit only confirmed that.I have had a stomach-ache since then, 2 months ago, since he lied, ridiculed, black-talks me in my journal, which I don't wish anymore of. Should I apologize for my remark? I have Aspergers and am extremely stressed in chronic burn-out stage 3, and have bad Anchylosing Spondylosis, unable to function perfectly, and needing to defend and speak up for myself as well as I can. He is well-liked by all he doesn't bully, is healthy and takes it easy, doesn't seem stressed at all. Shall I report him to get the bullying and withheld Dr care to stop, or will it only make it worse, seeing that I have a vicious guardianship on me? I miss my old Dr ,who was good..

if docs are happy why do they top the suicide list among professionals? docs "win lots of money"????!?!? on which planet does where does this happen? some docs make less than plumbers- then there's malpractice premiums student loan debt, mortgage- everyone has expenses but don't assume that all docs are loaded. take a look at administrators high salaries- you will faint its NOT ok for docs to NOT like their job- they and their patients get hurt
