One thing should be done immediately which is all private buses, autorickshaws, totos and cycle rickshaws must receive payments through UPI or online cause day by day it's getting harder to pay them through the old fashioned cash way cause to pay minimum fare large notes like 100 rupees is not exchangeable for them, even 50 rupees is not okay for them to give you change. The word "khuchro deben" is spoken like some rules which you have to abide and if you don't have "khuchro" and can't pay through UPI eRupee or anything then it's totally on you to how you're gonna break the 50/100 rupees. Very few except among them use the online method but all of them like 98% don't. Using of physical coins and cash is decreasing day by day and it's getting difficult to travel in these transport for this only reason. Paying cash and break cash even if it's big like 1k or 500 is always difficult everywhere not only these transport but shops and restaurants too but at least most of them have online options for which the difficulties is less there but these local transport is for everyday use and to pay 10 to 20 amounts daily cash is a lot harder than to pay 100 or 500. And one thing I must add sometimes they don't take soiled brittle paper notes which is also a disadvantage for using physical cash and not only them, even large restaurants and departmental stores does it too.
Check out growth history of any successful state or country. You can never grow fast by concentrating in Agriculture and unorganized sector. Wether its Tamil Nadu or Chine growth for them meant industrializing more, improving the infrastructure and making it easier for corporates to setup factories. Tamil Nadu has the highest number of factories in India, almost 10k more factories than second most industrialized state Gujarat. Until the state government focuses on these points, nothing will change
In Bengal lot of talented & skilled people are available but do not have business environment.no big business man is not invest their money due to militant environment.

we should focus on other cities too.. other cities are nowhere near to Kolkata. Even "Howrah" the twin City of Kolkata, it's might be the most unlivable city of West Bengal. Other cities are literally nothing.. uneducated peoples and poverty is very much.
I am from Maharashtra. listen to me, is west bengal's gdp per capita okay? If it is okay, then it'll be a problem because you guys want yourselves more poorer. You want to recruit Bestest Government teachers for your kids. What would happen :- if gdp per capita is low then, you can start Government schools or improve them by hiring teachers then you should have to provide schools a meal or 2 meals of a day then kids' parents will say them to go to the schools. Then you can do is, teach kids human languages such as german and arabic. Teach them programming languages such as c++, java, python.... And weakest minds of them can learn MS excel with AI and PowerPoint with help of AI. Export your products to german and arabic countries by learning language and having some knowledge in exports. Make your food cheap as possible so the well minded people from other states such as Maharashtra, gujrat, kerala or Karnataka can purchase them. This is the way. And this is the way south indian states grew and Maharashtra too.
East India development will be lead by Odisha and Assam. Sadly not West Bengal. The way zero investment is coming to west Bengal and Kolkata is maintained like an encroached, and tarpaulin covered metropolis, very remote chances of Kolkata revival is there. And without Kolkata, West Bengal GDP is much below than Bihar.

WB CM should take lessons from Naveen Patnaik how he trasform Orisa a massive Industrial state all big player, like JSW, TATA, Adani port,HAL, Sail, many SEZ with good policy and facility , in WB only focus MSME, that is not sufficient for state development big Industry, WB SEZ policy, land policy very poor, still awaiting for Tajpur port , Kolkata 2nd Airport kind of imagine

With a growth rate of 6.6% while gurjat and Maharashtra grows at 10% and 7% repectively its impossible . West Bengal lack in foreign investment and multiples other factor like less number of sezs , strict labour and land laws , and we urgently need tajpur port 🤌 . We. Have so much potential but we have to overcome all the barriers and put much more efforts than other state we i think we lag a bit no doubt we are getting investment from national investment and improving infrastructure but its slow .
