Oh man...I forgot about your RU-vid channel a few months after you visited Taiwan. I am glad I finally found this channel again and watched this video.
Croatia is a gem. I will give you some hidden treasures further south not to be missed. Town of Skradin enroute to Krka waterfalls. Town of Betina on Island of Murter connected to mainland by Bridge and tour the Kornati archipelago. Also small city of Sibenik and nearby Primosten with amazing Statue of our Lady of Lorretto lookout. All these places with 45 mins of each other.
I am so happy I stumbled upon y'alls channel! I'm going to visit Croatia (first time in Europe) with my little family and father in law who is Croatian and owns a home in Zadar still and soooo excited! Y'all are so funny and a blast to watch :)
🤣🤣 that was fun watching...measuring the town after been fuelled by liqueur 🤣🤣 lovely vlog, keep exploring and enjoying....tthanks for sharing your journey ♥️
Eh...Istria is not Balkan...never was. Its a matter of culture and history. In fact Istria was up until 20. Century part of Venice or Italy and Habsburg Empire. But most of tourists don't know how in fact Croatia melts together all the different influences ( like Balkan, Italian, Austro- Hungarian and its own Croatian regional differences) into one special place.
Oh it was so amazing! Honestly when Naick told me that we were near the smallest town in the world I did NOT have high hopes for the town but it blew us away. So charming 😍 thanks for watching, we always look forward to your comments because it makes us smile that you are excited to follow along on our adventure 🤗
@@NaickKim in fact since yesterday i was holding back ...i was getting 😟worried...4days no video?🤔 Mother hen in me🐔 Then i thought no they gonna think Im a pain in the arse! 👎 You cheer me up! All the time I was drooling over 😋 truffles...I'm so cabin fever you have No Idea😵 ...
Hello Ivana!! How are you? Do you live near this place?? Do you have an ig to ask you some questions? My great grandfather was born there and I would like to know if there is any way to get in contact with someone who can search his birth certificate
Prachtig dorpje daar in Kroatie.
Thanks Laura ;) the weather has been pretty bad (and will continue to be bad in the next week...). So fingers crossed for some days it doesn't rain. Any guesses on our next stop?
@@NaickKim I must admit you’ve got me stumped. I was there SO many years ago as a college student. I just remember hugging that beautiful Adriatic coast visiting what are now the typical places-Bled, Split, & Dubrovnik. Now as a traveler I like to go off the beaten path and visit with the locals. Keep finding those little side alleyways!
Hello, It was fantastic again. Super demand report, and made funny. you are fun and spontaneous. my thanks are very big again. until next time. I am curious
Wow, I was just here not 10 hours ago lol and I had nooo idea it was the smallest town until this video. I hired a driver for a day to take me to see The Krsan Castle and Mount Vojak, but we ended up skipping Vojak and he took me here. I'm so happy I got to see this in person. Such a treasure
Great video The town is recorded Hum, with its 30 inhabitants, is the smallest town in the world. It is located in the heart of Istria in the Municipality of Buzet. Who carries tape measure travelling?
We found it by accident on a website somewhere when searching for something else. We were both like: woah, we really need to go there! Such a unique place. ♥️
Croatian wine is indeed very good. Going to have to try some more though 😄 Any recommendations on wine? Next spot has something to do with a lot of water...
@@NaickKim slavonian white vine kutjevo region and ilok region, istrian white vine, dalmatian pelješac red vines. thats te regional best vines, just try, you will find plenty on your travel. I am not an expert on them, just try the best of every region. I am drinking adzic pinot sivi right now. slavonian white. So plitvice it is. go to Rastoke while you are there
It's small n interesting but the smallest place with a population of 1 is in Nebraska. Kara n nate did it the other week so wanted to share my useless knowledge lol
@daniiel mlinarics we asked a lady who lives there, how many people there were and she said 28 now. It used to be even less, about 20, but some family moved in and a few had kids.
@@JustinBrehm to call some place a town, there should be mayor, school, shops, post office... Its not about population, and Hum had all that in past. Nowdays its just place for turist, with ceremonial mayor, no active school etc... But what is worth to see in Croatia if you are turist is Pula, Rovinj (in Istria province) and in Dalmatian province, top places are Zadar, Nin, Šibenik and its 2 national parks,Split and its palace and Dubrovnik... Of cours the more islands you visit that is better. We have 1200 small islands, and cleanest sea in Mediteran... Take care and visit Croatia, you wont be dissapointed
I think you should get acquainted with the intermittent faster and all around about losing some wait! I ha e followed you for some years and ENJOY greatly your travels, while getting worried about your health when living so unhealthy. Please, get to know some very easy and pleasant diet, that you even can post about before it gets too late. Love and admiration!
There are different criteria for classification, but Hum has historically and administratively been considered a town. Firstly, it has (very well preserved) city walls and was mentioned in the records as a town as early as the 12th century.
