Check out my friend Hashi on twitter here! twitter.com/Alpharius_lives Let me know if you want to see more 40k videos or potentially some Elder Scrolls content in the future.
I would absolutely LOVE Warhammer scaling videos. I love the lore but never feel too comfortable with the scaling because everyone says wildly different things.
definitely up for some 40K goodness as you actually put effort into explaining things properly (which is desperately needed for 40K).. even the seemingly "scrub-tier" Orks have some insane feats and lore that you could dig into (like how every Ork can basically make things work just because they believe it to work), plus you can debunk some of the crud that has been polluting 40K vids for a while.. (like guys who legit want us to believe Space Marines are the "strongest force in all of 40K".. despite the whole point of 40K being that everything is incredibly messed up and no one really "wins").
One of the things I love about 40k is how bafflingly hard to understand some of the powerscales are. Like it seems that the chaos gods usually see big E as a threat to them to some degree, and they are gods of the warp. Even if this really just means that big E is a slight nuisance, just how powerful does that make him? Like i think it is pretty obvious that big E is vastly vastly stronger than malcador and malcador could do things like teleport entire planets into the warp (well a large moon, whatever). Its like a strange world were someone is pretty powerful if they can do something like throw a tank but then also there are godlike entities who can form and destroy realities with a thought. Great vid parrot, I really hope you make more of these. Your particular set of skills are perfect for analyzing 40k. and I really love how you show the quotes you use as clear evidence that you arent BSing us. I cant wait for your next one
I’m not sure how Big E scales to the chaos gods pre Heresy but more recent lore puts him on par with the chaos gods. He was able to possess multiple people(including a dead primarch, Guilleman) and even destroy Nurgles Cauldron. He made Mortarion pump fake hard as fuck and Nurgle himself wouldn’t even pop out for the hands with him. I’m sure he’s still just a nuisance to the 4 of them collectively, but he’s a huge threat to them individually.
Actually this can be explained how he's a threat to them without being as strong. In the warp things that are conceptually opposite or opposed to you can hurt and potentially kill you even if it's weaker than you. Sorta like superman with kryptonite except they don't make you weaker. Drach'nyen is the perfect example to this it's very nature is opposed to the emperor and those closest to him so he, his custodes, malcador, and likely the primarchs would have a hard time taking it out but something like an eldar could easily. The chaos gods are the same way with the emperor. He's weaker than them but he can still hurt them perhaps even more than hurt them at least individually likely not all together because of this they planned the heresy and got him permanently crippled.
I don't know the source of the quote but even at face value it's stupid, because they should be at least Solar System considering they beat straight up empires which conquer galaxies. Superman alone is beyond planet level.
@@jacktobias6513 Usually the react channels that get all the attention nowadays. They are watching the hard work of other live in a chat with tips and always cutting the video when the original creator mentions a sponsor or their own products. Always a class act these people.
I don't know much about Warhammer 40K but I'm interested in learning more! Sounds absolutely insane so far, I had no idea there was such consistent statements about it being so powerful.
Get into Metaphysics and true Spirituality. Real life is quite like this if you able to open your mind up to it, well with a lot less death which is mean less beyond our 3D frame of reference. Just remember to stay grounded. We still gotta show up to work everyday
@Garry Snail nothing is as well written as Berserk. But 40k is a much MUCH larger conflict. There are many many books and good stories, as well as bad ones, written about various characters. But when I reference Berserk, Im mainly talking about identical Themes of that series. The chaos gods could very well be interchanged with the Godhand, God King Griffith.... Well he became the Emperor of Mankind.
This was an amazing video webcamparrot I've been waiting for somebody to scale 40K properly and you done it masterfully. I want to see more videos on 40K to see where it speak is and of course I want to see you do a Elder Scrolls cosmology because I love your videos cosmology videos. I can you do one for marvel as well
@WebCamParrot I'm pretty sure that there aren't any beings that can create and destroy universes unless you can some how count the Old Ones to say the least.
IMO the Warp is the birth place of the Material Universe as we know it . The warp embolden infinite possibility . Anything can be anything , out of sheer infinite possibility eventually came the finite possibility aka the material universe. The material universe is like island surrounded by whirling ocean . At anytime the sea level rise aka Warp-storm could sink it . The only place where the infinite possibility can exist inside the material universe is within consciousness . Hence the connection to the Warp. Psyker are dreamer with more powerful connection to the warp , they can push thing a little more in the Material universe simply by dreaming or thinking about it .
YES! OMG please Pour all your 40k Knowledge onto Us. Emperor Lore, Primarch Powers, Significant Crusade era Campaigns, Malcador Feats, Warp Creatures, Xenos creatures & Humanoids, Abhumans, Psyker feats, Officio Assainorum kills, The founding Astartes Chapters, Successor Space Marine Chapters, Notable Planetary systems, ORKS!, Eldar, Tyranids, Necrons, and whatever the hell the C’tan actually are! I cannot get enough of 40K lore.
What peoples forgot the most is the fact warhammer 40k FOCUS on a single galaxy because it the story of THIS galaxy , we barely know what the warp is , we can only know the warp and chaos are the same and the warp stretch far beyond the galaxy and alot of these statement in this video was saying by the omniscient narrator ( the writters of the stories )some of them can be seen as hyperbolic like the one with ahriman for exemple or the tech-priest and his millions of universes , the warp and chaos by extent are like an ocean ( or sea since its the immaterium can be called the sea of souls ) we know only tiny part of it and warhammer 40k stories are written differently than DC or Marvel and animes , its a sci-fi universe not a comic book ( i'm not telling DC or marvel comics are bad on contrary i'm just saying its not the same kind of phrasing ) and sorry if i make some grammar mistake english is not my first language.
they aren't though. Big E is not infinitely above primarchs ( they are apart of him via gene seed) primarchs are not infinitely above space marines space marines are not infinitely above imperial militia. Imperial Militia cannot destroy an any infinite dimensional construct at will. Therefore: Nobody in 40k is outer. Don't make it complicated. 40k takes place in 1 galaxy. If E and crew were outer the nids would not be a threat to the universe. E/any primarch would 1 shot them.
I didn't know that Warhammer use metaphysics for faster-than-light travel that's literally my real-life head cannon! Pleasee keep this stuff coming Parrot, I live for narrative that start to properly convey our Sea of Infinity!
Lovecraft's Dreamlands are also extremely similar to the Warp, and in Hinduism there is prakriti, brahman in a mixed but unmanifested state, which is effectively the same thing as the immaterium that characterizes the warp and the parallels between their details is just astounding. The real-life version of it might not be so far off from these stories and concepts.
cool video, more 40k content would be nice. not sure about that last statement about like warp being above those 3 verses, but since idk how strong it is, who am I to judge
Nice... I do agree with you about the other RU-vidrs/Wiki Readers lol... BURN!! I normally only speak on the books that I've read, I just express my opinion, and enthusiasm for all things grimdark, and I craft War Hammer and War Hammer like weapons... You pulled this off well enough to get a sub from me dude!!!
I've always been a fan of your comic overviews and I am super glad to see you are delving into another universe i've been getting intrested in recently with your videos. I have to say the outline of the warp you have here is extremely comprehensive and you've obviously put a tremendous amount of research into a video that I think conclusively a topic I had been really unsure of up till now. Needless to say between that and how neat a lot of the content you were poring over was I think it was a great video, really looking for ward to seeing your future ones on the 40k universe.
If you enjoy 40k Lore, check out the works of the author Michael Moorcock, whom GW borrowed much of their concepts of Chaos and Multiverse from. The Elric Saga is a good starting off point.
Yo the fact that they just outright blatantly stated most of what you said is amazing considering hard and deep you have to dig for something that blatant in comics lol
My take on Chaos and Warp is this. Chaos Gods in the Warp when it comes to Milky Way are sort of like Genies in a lamp. Their lamp is Milky Way and from it they get their strength and form since they originate from Milky Way, but from this specific galaxy they can do whatever they want with everything else, it's just that they are bound by 40k milky way and have to manipulate it in order to keep their sentience and power.
Some of comic book channel say that everything in marvel is outerversal including marvel humans so clearly some of comic book channels are garbage too.
Somewhere in that seething maelstrom that is the sea of souls , that children of the flesh call warp, Lies a bronze fortress ,atop a mountain overlooking a vast plain. Inside the great hall of the fortress, atop a pyramid of numerous sculls, rests the scull throne. Of its occupant i WILL NOT speak. Crowning the throne are two sculls. My offering ,willingly given. The sea is everywhere and everywhen simultaneously. It exists as a normal part of the cosmos, except in this one galaxy. This one is cut odd from the sea, by a blasphemous ritual that consumed the souls of the strongest of the Eldari, and the most knowledgeable of the Necrons, leaving both greatly weakened. The result was a barrier that separated the eternal sea , from its counterpart reality crippling both. It created what you call the warp. Why Mortal enemies worked together, is not yours to know. But what was done can be undone, even if it take an eternity. The "birth of slaanesh" was just the first hole in that barrier. Few slipped through ,and have been preparing the way. Soon the gods will once again walk among the children of flesh, soon death will be but a step to the sea that renews, not the horror that brings the end. Soon your souls will know the ecstasy that is the touch of the gods.
@@shadowfire6003 I dont like the term conceptual trascendence but, an outerversal gap would be a bigger one than a fictional transcendence as a fictional transcendence is N+1 more dimensions
@@hashiondiscord8540 Idk cuz Fiction transcend includes multiple higher realms such as Mxy who is way stronger than TFD who is a High Outerversal Being.... Ultimately I think that being a concept makes you superior to fiction transcend but it depends on the author
So the inmaterium is the connective tissue between the material universes, just as big and complex as the entire material multiverse with It's multiple dimensions. WOW.
So if it's possible that Chaos exists in possible other universes that are connected to the warp. Could it be possible that there can be other settings that could be explored with the chaos gods within them? Maybe a cyberpunk universe, crime drama, exc?
We see with the Ka'bhanda quote that chaos fights over infinite universes, there's also fantasy which is just another universe connected to the warp, and later Age of Sigmar but that has cosmology thats more complex
@@ghsdasol6162 them not taking over the galaxy is due to necron technology, the emperor, and the great game in general. They dont need full control of the warp to scale to it
My question is, if the Warp is all embracing of all the multiverses. What is beyond the warp? What exists beyond the multiverses of the Warp? Are We the Gods beyond the Warp? After all, it was in our Realm that the Warp was created by Games Workshop and sustained by the attention of all the hobbyists. So does this make us Gods beyond the Warp? For without us, the hobbyist, all life within the Warp and the Multiverses contained therein, would cease to exist.
This is late, but if something much greater exists and this is where the gods of chaos really exist, They in the deformation are nothing more than avatars that can create and destroy at will.
@@WebCamParrot (obligatory omg WCP responded to me) I at least think Luetin does a good job researching his videos, and he'll sometimes complain about the lack of research within the community too and will encourage us to look at the source materials ourselves. So I at least like to think his head is in the right place.
@S k if you talking about scaling u can read couple novel about the warp, it getting pretty nuts its to massive. The deepest part of the warp is impossible to reach even the surface of it insanely massive
