I took a semester of Norwegian so I pick up words and phrases here and there but the rhyme and sound of the lyrics just perfectly matches the tone and album concept.

Midway is one of my favorites, but one unknown song that a lot of people don't know is Sabaton's cover for Twilight of the Thunder God. It goes so hard.
Their cover of For Whom The Bell Tolls is also pretty sick. Heck I can't even listen to Metallica's original anymore, I keep wanting to listen to Sabaton's version.
I won't lie. I am not the typical metal head-in fact, I'm not one at all-but I still hit 110%. There are not many Sabatoon songs that I don't love simply because I'm an amateur historian. Sabaton is probably one of the hardest metal I listen to besides Disturbed and I dont ever see me not loving Sabatons music. They are modern bards who teach history in a way that younger audiences can understand and are exposed to so many things that just dont make it into school. Keep it up please

I'd say a lot of great sabaton songs don't get listened to as much as they should and get overshadowed by ones people know the most like winged hussars and the last stand, which are good songs, but not sabatons best imo. Unfortunately the last battle is one of the many that don't get listened to or mentioned as often.
Definitely 110%! Heard Soldier of 3 Armies and was hooked. Spent the rest of day on RU-vid listening to every war song they've made. My family now looks at me any time I mention a cool historical event and goes, "Just send us the link to the song Sabaton wrote about it and shut up." 😆 Edit: Wow, 175 likes? Nice!

I was shocked when I saw Midway as the 110% song. It's one of my favourites. I assumed everyone would love it too. It would be fantastic to see it live, with the whole audience calling out "Midway" at the right times.

ikr with panzerkampf and nightwitches when i initially heard them i was like "eh, decent" added to my playlist anyway and now theyre one of my top favorites sabaton songs just need a few listens sometimes and then theyre one of the best songs ever sabaton just hits
Yes! Exactly this has happened for me to so many of their songs. I’ll really listen to a solo, hear a new lyric that I never understood before, be in the right mood for a riff and suddenly they’ve got me again on a song that I used to skip.
The very first Sabaton song I’ve listened to was “The Unkillable Soldier”. Ever since that, I’ve been listening to more and more Sabaton. My favourite song of all time is “Stormtroopers”

The lovely thing (and testament to the greatness of Sabaton) is how in the comments everyone disagrees about what should be added / continue the list but what everyone agrees upon is that Sabaton is bloody fantastic.

@@hugemegamanx3568 Because the story itself is puzzling. Why? For what? Each Sabaton song has a story, the essence of the song, and this story is rather weak and strange. Usually songs are about heroes, but this is about some kind of bastard. So the song didn’t take off.
Hello Sabaton! I am a big fan of you guys and love how you guys use music to tell stories. This Friday May 17th you will be playing in Evansville, Indiana my hometown. Evansville actually has a bit of history when it comes to WW2! During the war Evansville made over 6,000 Fighter-Bomber aircrafts named the Thunderbolt, and built an LST (tank landing ship) that participated in D-Day, and it is still in dock on the river in Evansville to this day! If you guys decide to play your song Primo Victoria, I think the people of Evansville would love if you mentioned the LST and the Thunderbolt in some way before the song!

As a Brazilian it would be obvious I would love the Smoking Snakes, the Brazilians were one of the most merciful nations on ww2 but also one of the bravest.
To be honest I'm really not a fan of their music anymore. But I really, REALLY appreciate that 1) Sabaton is broadening the metal scene and more and more people find that metal is great AND 2) That they share history, because "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it" and i cannot stress this enough
