Your dialogue in the comics is hysterical. That being said that comic was atrocious in every way. I remember reading it and thinking wtf you brought Boba back just to re-kill him the EXACT same way?? Definitely deserved a spot on CoG

They probably had a contract that said they couldn't mess with the status quo in the Star Wars universe, so they could bring back Boba, but in the end he had to be in that pit again.

"It's just a ridiculous story" kinda sums up the early Marvel comic series perfectly. Even a lot Legends fans don't count them in that continuity. The way Boba Fett actually came back in the Legends continuity proper and how he was used afterwards was actually really cool.

JJ Abrams is far worse, his Captain Phasma cowardly gave up without fighting. Rian Jhonssson; Captain Phasma fought and her fate was open-ended enough for her to fight one last time. Incompetent JJ Abrams, was the one who decided on leaving her dead despite resurecting every single character but her without explanation, he could had even made Palpatine clone thousands of her instead of those red-troopers. Chewbacca revived, Darth Plagueis is meaningless when even Babu Frick revived.

I was hoping that this would have been the Tales Of The Bounty Hunters short story where the sarlacc is an immortal collective consciousness of all its digested victims that wants to have philosophical discussions, and then Boba Fett escapes by blowing his armour up and digging his way out of a collapsing sand pit, but this was much dumber. 11/10, thanks!

Interesting that they show us what Tatooine looks like in the immediate aftermath of the death of Jabba and the fall of the Empire. We just got a bit of that in The Mandalorian too, but it's five years on and everything is just gone. There's nobody there.
