Bomba, a traditional dance and music style in Puerto Rico, emerged around the 16th century, mixing sounds brought by enslaved Africans with those of Indigenous Taíno. “It’s a fingerprint of Puerto Rico,” John Leguizamo says.

I just love my culture, although I was born and raised in Buffalo New York I used to always talk to my grandmother she was telling me about the culture, now my grandmother is from Spain she moved to Puerto Rico at a young age and quickly adjusted to the culture I love you and miss you and thank you for all the wonderful stories of Puerto Rico

Latin Music forms Son, Salsa, Samba, Merengue, Bachata, Rumba, Mambo, Cumbia, Champeta, BOMBA-PLENA, Soukas-Sebene, Cha Cha Cha, Tango, Pachanga, Tropicalia, Zouk, Carioca Timba, Tropicalia, and of course Reggaeton--all enjoy well documented African roots coupled with undeniable African influence---whether directly or indirectly. Ok the Spanish Empire, and the American Spanish war, that could be WW1.. and WW2 is Japan and Germany ancient history lessons. The American troop invasion of Puerto Rico 1898s I got my straight (A's) and (S+) history lesson 😍 it's all started with Christopher Columbus. 1400s and the Spanish Empire 1500s and 1600s 1700s and 1800s it's the Spanish Empire had end it, the American won the war ended the Spanish empire. The native boricua tianos indigenous tribe who started 1000s and 1100s and 1200s and 1300s and 1400s🤔
