Yep. This is exactly what I recommended for them to do when they showed their new shop video and I saw all that fuel and tires being stored. In fact, I can all but guarantee that if the fire marshal saw that much fuel being stored in a building with that type of fire suppression system it would not be legal. Something about all the welding, torching and grinding that occurs there also tells me that storing all that fuel on-site is a terrible idea!

There’s going to be a lot of different variables with the trucks that are being prepped and maintained by Brenthel. It’s not something that is just black and white because every truck will have different expenses required. Some trucks are going to require a lot more prep and parts based on how the previous race went and some racers might want to try a completely different set up with their vehicle, etc. So, to answer your question, yes, the owners of the trucks are paying Brenthel to maintain them. For those that are a little less committed Brenthel offers their arrive and drive program which is basically just a rental on steroids.

It’s a Spec class based off the 2wd trophy trucks. It requires everyone to run the same engine, transmission, wheelbase and suspension. The class has exploded in popularity due to the relatively low cost and close racing it offers.
